    Has all the functions I need in a convenient lightweight design. It can at times seem unresponsive, but generally that means there is an update that either needs to be performed for the Dell or windows systems or both. So I learned something new.

    Avoid…Junk Right Out of the Box

    Purchased this on a Saturday and returned on Monday. Worker fine in the initial startup but after closing my laptop with the ac charger in, it became a piece of junk. After some searching for answers, apparently these laptops have some kind of of BIOS issue where they fail to power on if you put it to sleep while on the AC charged. The only solution is to remove the battery (which would void the warranty). Thankfully I got my money back. Just avoid this particular Dell model altogether.

    Works As Expected

    We like the machine. Performs as expected. We had a few bumps initially getting the Microsoft Office working correctly but it had nothing to do with the machine. Getting use to the touch and feel of the keyboard and the touch screen. Like it more each day.

    This computer is probably over kill for my need but I love it and it is easy to use. I am 80 years old so basically I use it for entertainment. I read my daily paper, do crossword puzzles, check out the news and get my emails. I am old school so my finances never see a computer

    Picked up this for school use. So far it’s been great and better than what the school rents out. It doesn’t even look really green unless you look at it at an angle and really good lighting. Connects to Internet without issue and had plenty of memory for what it is used for.

    Motherboard, SSD, and palmrest had to be replaced after 6 months. I purchased form best buy July 2022. In January it stop working would go past Dell Screen. Geek Squad is saying it will take $589 to repair.

    Love my new Laptop!

    I had to get an new laptop because right after I moved my wireless card stopped working. Got online and ordered this laptop for pickup. Have been very happy with it all around. I should have had a Dell to begin with!

    Needs more usb 3 ports. Fast working laptop. I have to fiddle with refresh rate every time when hook up to big tv.

    As advertised. Not a fan of Windows-11, the Windows-10 was more friendly and less geeky. It’ll do for now. Geek Squad was terrific helping set-up all the settings, programs and peripherals.

    Laptop does not charge at all

    I could give zero, but it does not allow me. I bought this laptop for my niece in Peru, I delivered to her so she can start the university with a new computer. The computer does not charge at all. I went to dell website and read the reviews for this computer and it has a massive common issue. Now I have to pay $ 200 dollar to bring back the laptop to the US so I can get refund my money and get another laptop.

    I am reviewing the Dell Inspiron 14 2 in 1 laptop model 7425. I received this laptop as part of the Best Buy Tech Insider program in exchange for my honest opinion. The Dell Inspiron 14 is a nice sized laptop with a 16to9 aspect screen size that makes it look a little taller than the normal wide screen found on many laptops. This screen configuration is actually really nice as it allows you to see more of the page from top to bottom which in turn means less scrolling. The laptop I am reviewing has the AMD Ryzen 5 5625U processor which is a really impressive CPU. This unit comes with 512 GIG of storage and 8 Meg of RAM. Windows 11 home was loaded on this unit. The computer has wireless-AX and bluetooth as well as HDMI, USB C and an SD card reader. A nice feature on this unit is the backlit keyboard for use in low light. I have had the opportunity to use this unit for some light video processing using Adobe software, Microsoft office applications and some light gaming. This version of the AMD 5000 series processor is an absolutely terrific processor. It is quick and smooth. The screen is bright and there are enough ports to keep most people happy, although there is always the option to purchase a portable hub. The only minor downside is the onboard graphics. They are good, but certainly not as good as a dedicated graphics card and slightly behind the Intel Iris plus graphics. This laptop was just a touch slower in rendering some of the video files, but not by much and in light game play, was almost equal. However, the overall performance of this laptop is excellent and battery life is well above average in the laptops I have used. The only other slight negative I can think of with this laptop is the weight. It is a sturdy laptop with excellent material, but it is heavier than other Dell Latitude laptops I use for work. I enjoy using this laptop and keep it in my truck on a daily basis. I like the AMD CPU and I really like the screen size and layout. I don't think you would be disappointed in your purchase.

    Computer is good. The representative recommended one that fits my need. The transfer of data was smooth. The Geek Squad representative at the counter was very helpful (a big guy with bear and wearing glasses).

    Currently, I am furious that this laptop continues to have issues. It is brand new, apps crashing, hardware and software malfunctioning.

    Glitch with computer "not recognizing battery" and sound doesn't work. The tech guys couldn't fix it and Best Buy wouldn't replace it because I was TWO days past the return window.
