I did downgrade it to windows 10 (comes with 11 pre installed) Downgrade was pretty smooth, installed 10 and then downloaded/installed all the driver using the tool on dells website Over all a great laptop, nice and light, great picture and sound quality

Windows 11 features take some getting used to, and haven't decided if I like the auto load feature that happens when you open from a closed shutdown state. I find that it runs hotter than normal after an hr use, however. I also am not a fan of the Windows 11 OS which comes on it. I'm sure for the original price point you can find something a lot better.

Thank you very much for your valued review. We apologize for the issues you have come across with your new Dell Inspiron 5410 2-in-1 laptop because it is overheating and you don’t like Windows 11 very much.
To help with overheating issue, we would recommend making sure the BIOS is up to date on your PC. I have provided a link to the Drivers and Downloads page so you can check for and do any applicable updates. Dell has also released an Intel Power Management Utility to help with the overheating that you may be experiencing on your computer. For this package to take effect, the system power plan must be set to Balanced under the Additional Power Settings. Also, the Power Mode option that is displayed when you click the battery icon, should be set to Better Performance. This package only takes effect on AC power and not on battery power. The Intel Power Management Utility can be found here - http://dell.to/3tStRgX.

It was an open box computer that was certified by the Geek Squad. Feel like I got a good price on it. It was delivered several days earlier than promised. I was not home so that didn't help me but would have been wonderful had I been there. So far, I am very happy with my purchase.

Okay laptop but dont expect it to last long
