Thsis laptop came with a c type charger. The normal chargers for laptops charge faster. I will definitely check from now on. Paying 900$ and getting a c type charger is lacking.

The Dell Inspiron 14” 5410 2-in-1 is a nice laptop. The screen is incredibly clear and has a thin border around, making minimal dead space around the screen which saves on the overall size of the laptop. The laptop body is thin, but it’s a little heavy in my opinion so keep the weight in mind if you’re going to be carrying it around. I like the keyboard a lot, it feels really smooth and I like that I can change the intensity of the keyboard backlight. This Dell laptop has a decent amount of ports but I wish it had at least one more USB-C port since I wouldn’t be able to charge it and access my USB-C SSD at the same time (unless I purchase a different charger). Left side connections: charging port (cable type not included), HDMI (nice!), USB, USB-C (charging cable is USB-C). Right side connections: headphone jack, USB, Micro SD. Personally, I’d go for an SD port rather than Micro SD but I do use Micro SD cards and happen to have a USB-C Multiport Adapter that I can use to load SD cards. I may have to get a USB Multiport Adapter so I can have access to more than one USB-C port. Once fully charged, I have been able to use this laptop for a few hours a day for 3 days. I’m satisfied with the battery life so far. Time will give me a better indication of the battery’s longevity. I assume that using a low screen brightness was helping the battery life and on that note, I wish the screen brightness went just one level lower. I’ve been testing the limits of the Inspion’s 8GB RAM by having multiple apps open. The Task Manager indicates the Memory is between 74-77% while I have open: Chrome(10 tabs, 1 video streaming), Spotify streaming, and Mail. At one point I also had a Zoom meeting going. I bounced back and forth between apps and had no issues. For regular use, I’ll most likely only have a couple of apps open at once like Chrome and Photo Viewer. I have a Surface Pro Pen that is also compatible with this laptop which is great because I like using Microsoft Whiteboard. It syncs to my Microsoft account so I can see the updated Whiteboards and add notes as I please with whatever device I have on hand. This is where the tablet mode comes in handy making the touch screen feature useful. I rarely use the touch screen in standard laptop mode, but I like that it’s available. The right side panel next to the screen is magnetic so I can store my pen there when the laptop is open but I don’t recommend storing a Surface Pro Pen there long term because it tends to fall off, so much so that I’m not even sure it’s meant to be there. Afterall, this laptop did not come with that pen, I just happen to have it. Overall, I’m satisfied with this Dell Inspiron laptop. It’s a little heavy for me but the weight is advertised so if you’re looking for something lighter, then my suggestion is to look at the specs when searching for the right laptop for you. As for storage, 512 GB is the least amount of storage that I think is appropriate for a laptop which should be enough for me given that I also have plenty of external storage. On my first day of use, I noticed the fan kicked on quite a few times during the working session and was audibly noticeable but that seemed to be an isolated incident and I haven’t really heard the fan too much.

I love my Dell Inspiron 2-In-1 laptop. We have always had good luck with Dells. It replaced an aging all-in-one. Very happy with my purchase.

I primarily use this 2-in-1 for on-the-go voiceover and studio work. For that purpose, it does everything necessary, but it's all the other capabilities that make this laptop a great little wonder. Many of these midrange systems have several boxes checked off, but usually are lacking some minor feature that is sorely missed. This isn't the case here. Out of the box, I immediately notice the quality of the build. Nice finish, smooth responsive keys, sturdy hinges and all the connections needed to accommodate all sorts of purposes. There is some weight to this system, so you may be cautious using in tablet mode with one hand. But the weight is justified in the quality of the build, and for me, that's a decent trade-off. First, the operation. Short and sweet, there has been no issue. The systems zips right along through multitasking, browsing, and whatever else I execute. Systems stays cool to the touch and has great heat dissipation. Touch screen is very responsive without a stylus, and my fingers glide across the glass coating. I keep it on best performance, and with normal usage, I can crank out 5-7 hours on the battery. Cut out the games and media, and I'm sure that time increases. The screen is crisp, vibrant, full 1080P! The Dell Cinema Color options are great for enhancing content, as videos pop right off the screen. The speakers are surprisingly good. They envelope you in sound and actually provide a bit of depth. I was pleasantly surprised. The Dell Sound Control panel works similar to the video panel in adding extra dimension to the headphone experience. Music sounds great! Great media companion. I have a few higher end gaming systems, so I wasn't expecting any sort of gaming performance. I had read about the iRISx graphics included and decided to try it out. Once again, I'm impressed. Using modest settings, you can get a solid gaming session from some very resource heavy games. No, you won't see 60fps on GTA V, but it is playable enough that the experience is enjoyable. And less hoggish games run smoothly So, I'll actually keep a few games installed and synced to kick on in some downtime from working. For an integrated graphics chip, it handles fairly well. As for the inputs. Two SS5 USB slots, a micro sd slot, a usb-c port that will work as a display port with an adapter, an HDMI out and a headphone jack. The less adapters/hubs I have to buy, the better, and this has everything I need to get things done. Two of those minor features I spoke of appreciating are the great backlighting system, a great camera, and a super responsive fingerprint reader. This is a great laptop for someone who wants a system that can do a little bit of everything. Some things with unparalleled excellence, and others with acceptable functionality.

Bought this for my high schooler to use at school. Works well, but screen graphics are pretty low. Other than that, everything else works like you would expect a Dell to.

I bought this laptop for my son and he loves it! He is fascinated with the built-in Alexa feature. I would definitely buy again from Best Buy.
