The screen could be a little brighter, and the battery life could be better but depending on your need, this thing would be great. It has a larger drive than most in this price range or even more expensive. The RAM and CPU are plenty fast enough for daily tasks and the Iris XE Integrated graphics pairs nicely. It can stream video without hiccups as long as the network is good enough. Would recommend waiting for this to go on sale.

The boot speed is lightening fast and the best part is it comes with couple of USB ports and an hdmi port too, type c charging is lightening fast. Cons: The hinge mechanism is not so great, everytime you open up the lid it’s pushes the lower part up which is good when it comes to cooling however overall usability and experience is impacted.

Not that great when compared to multiple gaming laptops at this price. The processor is slow and the performance is less. Touchscreen works perfect. It generates lot of heat, so coolie pad is required. Screen gets stuck while working. Laptop is not switching on sometimes.

There are several ways to help improve the performance of your computer if it is running slower than you expected it to. We'd recommend the following steps to help improve your computer's overall performance and speed:
1. Restart your computer regularly.
2. Run the automated tools provided in the SupportAssist Tool.
3. Run a complete hardware diagnostic test.
4. Scan your computer for malware.
5. Restore your Dell computer using Windows System Restore.
6. Reinstall Microsoft Windows.

To help with overheating, Dell has released an Intel Power Management Utility to help with this issue. For this package to take effect, the system power plan must be set to Balanced under the Additional Power Settings. Also, the Power Mode option that is displayed when you click the battery icon, should be set to Better Performance. This package only takes effect on AC power and not on battery power.
