Beware of the fan

I had to return it. The sales associate said it might have been defective but I know others who’ve had this problem.

Here are the steps to help improve the battery performance of your laptop:
1. On the notification area of the taskbar, right-click the Battery icon.
2. On the options list, click Power Options.
3. Select a power plan on the battery meter, such as Power Saver or Balanced. Windows 10 has a built-in 'Battery Saver' mode that can be activated to extend your system's battery life. The Battery Saver mode will monitor and limit background activity and other features such as push notifications. You do have the option to enable or disable this mode within settings or within advanced Battery Saver settings, you can customize the mode to best suit your needs.
a) Click on the Action Center icon in the taskbar and select the tile for Battery Saver.
b) If running Cortana, type Battery Saver into the search box and select from the results.
Within the Battery Saver settings page, you will be able to turn on and off the feature and customize the feature to best meet your needs.
c) Turn the Battery Saver On or Off.
d) Additional settings are available via the Battery use and Battery saver settings links.

Next issue touch pad did not work probably it lagged, it worked, then it lagged again. Instead of stressing over a purchase the was over $800 I returned it.

Don't waste your money

After about a month ran so slow and had to keep restarting it. Had geek squad remotely check it out multiple times, only to find nothing wrong with it. Horrible, heavy computer and never figured out why it didn't work. Ended up getting a new computer two months later.

Don't know anything about this yet.

No instructions came with the computer. I am trying to transition from work email to my own. Have figured out where the power cord goes but don't know how long to charge it. Have to go on line and figure out what port does what. I don't now anything about this product yet or how to use it. Its on Sale for $200 less than I paid. Guess it came with office 365 it loaded it automatically. It loaded a security program automatically I have not loaded the one I bought with it, yet I don't know anything about this laptop yet

I've already fully reset Windows 11, ran all the Microsoft and Dell updates, and started over and same issue again. The return window of only 15 days has expired.

Great laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Summer of 2022, I bought this machine with the Ryzen 5 Processor. I then upgraded the RAM to 32GB and replaced the 256GB SSD with a 512GB SSD. I was surprised this machine could very easily run Fallout 4. In June 2023, my wife told me she needed a new laptop. I got her this exact computer and she loves it. My son is now asking for a laptop and I'm thinking this would be the perfect computer for him as well. This model has two USB-C/ Thunderbolt ports, so it WILL work with the Dell Thunderbolt dock. Lite gaming, office documents, and watching Netflix as certainly possible on this machine. And its priced moderately while still giving you the ability to uprade the RAM and storage capacity.
