This laptop is excellent for the most part. It's fast and looks and feels sturdy. I was very concerned about lags when I was shopping for a new laptop as my previous one was painfully slow at times. This one is very responsive. The sound quality for me is very good too, at least compared to my previous one which had beats audio. The main issue I have with the laptop is the battery life. It doesn't last very long. I have only been able to squeeze out 2 hours of normal use at 40% brightness from a full charge. In another case, I was able to watch a youtube video for 1 hr 45 mins before the battery ran out. But overall, it is a very good laptop for the price.

I have to say I absolutely love this laptop. I bought it for my son and it definitely makes a great first laptop. It is simple to operate but also has advanced features and a really fast and Powerful processor but it's still thin and lightweight. It is definitely a great investment and I'm very glad that I went with this dell

This Solid State Drive PC is an excellent value! I really like that there are no moving parts (hence, no noisy cooling fan) and that being solid state, it cannot be erased with a strong magnet. The touch screen response is excellent as well.

Got the Inspirion 7000 15 2in1 with the College Deal $150 off. Great price. It was this or the HP Spectre X360 15T. I do not think the Spectre is worth the extra $300-400. Especially if you intend to change laptops every few years. They say the screen on this 7000 is dull, but I used a a color calibration from another Inspirion user, and now it looks great!. The 15 is a bit bulky in tablet mode, but I got used to it quickly. Hope this helps everyone.

I bought this 2-in-1 with a $150 off college student deal. It has a solid build while staying reasonably light and thin. I'm also impressed that you can login using 3d facial recognition instead of a password. The HD display makes watching Netflix a great experience as well as the ability to fold it into a tent for watching in bed. It is very fast and is overall a great device for the price I bought it at.

I bought this for a customer who doesn't watch DVDs or download tons of music or videos. The solid state hard drive is fast like a car in thous movies. Windows 10 boots in seconds, the i5 processor sips power. It is thin and even with a beautiful 15.6" monitor it is light weight. Bluetooth is a plus as well as fast WiFi. The case is ruggid aluminum HDMI out and USB 3. Well worth the price.

As an engineer I appreciate the build quality of this machine. The build quality is solid, similar to a macbook. I literally can't think of anything I don't like about this machine, it is perfect.

Bought this piece of garbage last Nov. Here are the issues that I've been dealing with for the last year. Giant waste of $$$. Soooo going back to and Apple laptop. Get what you pay for. Btw, I'm a light user. Basically have for downloading music, organizing my photos and browsing the internet to shop, check out a few youtube videos and pay bills. 1) Sound is intermittent. One minute you have it, next....it's gone. You literally have to reboot the computer to get the sound to come back & sometimes that doesn't work. Forget about listening to any music off the computer from iTunes. That has never worked. 2) Cursor jumps erratically on a daily basis. When trying to type a sentence, the cursor will jump to suddenly without warning jump to the beginning, to the end or suddenly a new page opens up because it jumps to a new tab on the internet. Fun things like the page shifting up or down happens ALL THE TIME!!! As I'm writing this review, it has jumped from where I'm typing 8X. By the time I'm done, it will be in the 30s. It will drive you CRAZY!! 3) Downloaded pictures from my old Apple laptop to this thing and the pictures are a hot disorganized duplicated mess. No rhyme or reason. Apple makes it so darn simple. Why can't Dell? 4) Also, the function keys at the top of keyboard stopped working one day. I can no longer increase or decrease sound (not that the sound ever worked consistently) nor can I adjust the brightness of the screen. When I hit these keys, some kind of screen with computer code pops up...not sure what is up with that. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Pretty much HATE it. You've been warned.

This touchscreen laptop is prone to a problem commonly known as "ghost touches". Google "Dell Inspiron 15 ghost touch problem" and you will see that Dell laptops (as well as other manufacturers) with touchscreens will exhibit a problem where the touch screen thinks it's being pressed repeatedly, causing your cursor to go haywire. Dell customer support will put you through a gauntlet of hours of software upgrades but these don't work. It's a HARDWARE PROBLEM. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Either another brand or a non touch screen.

PC runs hot! Fan turns on at 140 F (processor). Dell knows about the problem. A proper BIOS update would fix the problem. There are no known fan speed control apps for this latest model PC. The processor will not live long at those temperatures.

This computer didn't recognize the Dell cord or battery that came with it, so it wouldn't charge the battery. It took forever to do anything on it because it had so many background programs running. It forced me to receive updates which take over an hour to upload and I do not have the option to block. When I called for a technician they told me that these problems were because I didn't have virus protection and insisted I buy more than one software from them. I could barely understand them as they talked to me like this was my first computer. NEVER EVER BUY A DELL!!!
