The combination of lab top and tablet features such as touch screen with Word programs and tablet apps makes this a powerful tool. It will be better when I learn how to use all of them. The draw back is the updates that happen when I get near the internet have wiped out some of my down loads or information

A friend needed a good recommendation for a local pickup. This seemed to hit the sweet spot between buying it locally and spending the money online. Specs are great for a regular use laptop. No gaming on this, so no opinion. Comes with SSD, so it is fast.

I bought two of these, one for my wife and one for my father-in-law. Neither of them are tech-savvy. The package is small and light. Battery life is good. Speed is just okay. My 5 year old XPS with an SSD is faster. The screen is crisp and bright. IMO, that's the best part of the machine.

For $499, it was too good of a deal. Comparable laptops are $100-$200 more. Only complaint would be the speakers. Speakers would rattle within the enclosure. Was able to solve issue with well placed foam. Sound is quality is adequate, but don't expect Apple Macbook-line sound quality.

Bought on sale on tax-free weekend; excellent value on this lap-top with its many features.

This laptop was a graduation gift for my daughter who started as a Freshman this fall. It has held up well with no discernible problems as of yet, under the heavy use of a college Freshman. She carries it everywhere as it is lightweight, but still large enough to make it easy to use.

I'm very happy with this laptop. It looks great, feels great, and is decently quick. The backlit keyboard is built into the frame of the laptop and seems to be a lot more responsive than a chiclet keyboard. The battery life is great, it lasts a long time, even under heavy use.

I love this laptop. I use the touch screen features and love being able to flip the screen flat. It seems sturdy and the colors on the screen are vibrant and clear. The only thing I dislike is the battery does not hold up as long as I expected. However, it charges quickly.

Went into store looking at a different computer for my college student. The helpful staff at the Folsom store showed us this laptop due to it was going to be toted back and forth to school and around school. This computer has provided everything he needs for his classes.

This laptop is great overall. However, there are a few things that would make it better. First, the battery life is not that great. Second, the keyboard is pretty small in relation to the size of the screen. Other than those 2 small things, I think this is fantastic laptop.

I find that this Dell laptop is a fabulist computer! It is a lot more than what I had anticipated it to be and more. I would defiantly recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a laptop for business, school or just for home it is surely well worth the money.

I use my laptop for a lot of quickbooks(accounting program). Everything is so fast. The only thing is, I should have went with a bigger hard drive but still stick with the SSD. I have an TB external hard drive a very small one but it is a pain remembering it.

Nice laptop for the price. I didn't expect it to be slim but it is very slim. That was a surprise. Runs smoothly. My only complaint is about is about a bit large footprint for a 15 inch laptop. Without number keys, lot of wasted spaces around the keyboard.

I'm a guy in IT and I am very selective about the laptops that I use, and this one is absolutely perfect! The SSD allows things to load SO much faster and I'm able to get all of the work I need to do done without any issues or lag time. Love this laptop!

I needed to replace my parents old laptop. Quick, thin, and does the job. The only thing that I don't like about this laptop is the power button placement which is on the right side of the laptop. Other than that it is a solid replacement for parents.

I use it instead of my old PC. Plugged in my wide screen monitor and USB mouse and use my blue tooth keyboard. When I want to use it as a laptop, just unplug it and take it with me. The solid state is very fast, no warm up, except for the the monitor

This is my first PC laptop after living with Mac for a while. This is absolutely amazing and fast PC laptop. Delll did it right. You should be aware of its non-loaded DVD/CD drive. You should absolutely take this laptop into your consideration.

I am not a fan of touchscreen in a laptop but for the price and features its very good. Plus Dell is a reliable company. The Solid State Drive its a must if you move the laptop constantly.

This one should last us awhile. So many cool and use able features. The graphics are 2nd to none. A little sensitive if using cursor but you can always switch to the touch screen feature.

This is a great value for a solid state computer! The boot time is just a few seconds and being solid state, there is no noisy fan. The back lit keys are helpful in low light conditions. My only regret is that it does not have a 10 key pad.
