SSD drives are the future. The main parts of your computer that really slow it down, crappie slow hard drives. SSD can get you up in running in seconds (from start up), compared to 30 seconds with a hard drive.

even without a disc drive I have full use of this pc . transferring what I need from a disk to flashdrive . have not had any problems

The first computer we got crashed within the first month. Best Buy switched the computer out even though we were past the 14 day return. Like the computer a lot when we used prior to crashing. Getting the new one setup now.

Love my new purchase and it was a very easy by and it was very easy to hook up. The salesman was very helpful in helping me select this. I haven't had a new PC for 7 years for home. It is very nice.

Nice computer. Like the drawing feature on the screen but you need a $70. pen. Watch price matching carefully actually only 15 days and you have to bring in the ad while sale is actually active.

I purchased a lap top not too long ago and it was horrible. This one seems to do the job a lot better and is much more user friendly. I do miss the DVD/cd drives. But I guess they are all going that way now.

I got this laptop to just be a workhorse for my business. The set up was simple. The internet connections and speed are more than adequate. I am very satisfied with this Dell.

This Dell is so far everything we hoped for and what the salesman said it would do. My daughter has no complaints on its operation, speed and loves the touchscreen.

I absolutely love this computer except for poor manufacturing in that plastic screws instead of metal ones were used to connect the monitor to the base of the laptop -- it is a 2-in-1 so it can be used as a touch screen, rotating the monitor around with the keyboard resting on your lap or table while you make full use of the touch screen, and you then swing the monitor back to use the keyboard (wonderful, solid keys) to do more serious work including typing documents and so forth. The screen is beautifully clear and crisp -- enough RAM for programs to run efficiently and speedily. The machine always boots up quickly. However, after almost exactly 2 years of use, the monitor now can no longer swing to close, or swing to be used as a touch screen because of this defect with the poor choice of screws to connect the monitor to the base. The glass portion of the screen separated from the outer case, and the hinges no longer serve their purpose. The following description from a forum in Dell describes my issue exactly. I plan to try contacting Dell about this, but since I have had the laptop for 2 years, I'm pessimistic about any positive outcome. love the computer, it is a bit heavy so i wouldn’t recommend it as a portable laptop, but as a stay at home laptop it’s perfect

Bought the Inspiron because I have one before. After trying a toshiba and not pleased decided to purchase another Inspiron and very happy I did!

I love my new computer! The only thing is that I wish it had the side number key pad, but that's just my preference. Other than that, I've had no problems.
