    Good, but too much bloat

Bought it for my dad who isn't too computer savvy. While the laptop itself is pretty good, all the bloat that it comes with can be really annoying for a novice who just needs something that starts and goes. My dad replaced this with a Surface laptop.

Always loved Dell but their designs appeared to be falling behind the trend. Perfect timing with needing a new personal laptop and this Dell laptop. Light, super slim, touch screen, long battery life, fast, reversible screen...what's not to love. Dell definitely did well with this one. Totally recommend

It's fast, quiet, and a nice looking machine. I bought this laptop after being told from Apple that my MacBook Pro's battery would cost $500 to replace 1 month after Apple care expired, They offered no help or compromise. I'M DONE WITH APPLE! I'm just as happy with my Dell at half the cost.

Bought this for my business & family use at home. Love the touch screen part where I can touch it and zoom in and out with my fingers. Doesnt have the number key pad on the side I miss that my other computer has. Overall a great computer. Light weight. Flip screen( haven't used that part and probably wont ever)

The large screen is bright and clear. Being a touch screen is an added bonus. Bought for my daughter who is starting graduate school. The sales associate recommended this computer as being one that would hold up to being transported back and forth between home and classroom.

This is a decent laptop for the price. The fan does go on even when a few tabs are open sometimes though. If you are just using this laptop for research and causal use, I recommend this laptop. If you want to play games on the laptop, this laptop will become hot fairly quick on the bottom.

Purchased when student money had not been made available as told and classes started next day. Same machine in book store was more expensive. This PC has worked out well and my daughter started on time. Very nice college starter computer.

Great gift for my son graduated high school and entering college this is a gift that will last him threw his long haul going to college and med school . I must say the look of dell and it’s performance is what caught my eye and as I see him using it every day ( doesn’t leave his side) and capable of doing everything from social media and streaming and of coarse ( teenager) most important games ( the quality and clearity is beyond what I thought) but I’m sure he will challenge this lab top during his studies and projects and all assignments . I remember the night after graduation we went home already wrapped his gift ( his sister was so curious ) when he opened up the gift he wasn’t sure what’s is was at first then bingo opened the box and smile ear to ear he didn’t expect it ( found out next day his sisters asked mom if when she graduates will she get the same ) oh well it was a great event and well worth it...

The Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 is a good laptop. It's fast, in terms of start up time and processing; the keys are comfortable, though a little squeaky; the backlighting of the keys is nice and turns off after inactivity, which I like; the narrower screen border allows for more screen real estate. I don't care much for the beveled design of the keyboard. The fingerprint reader often doesn't read my fingerprint. The weight of the screen makes the laptop top heavy, which makes it unstable if not on a flat surface, like when it's on your lap.

This laptop has phenomenal performance for the price. It is very durable and well built and has great battery life. Although I would have preferred more storage, it is sufficient to my needs for school work. Highly recommend for school of general office use

Comfortable ergonomics, reasonable performance and great portability make this laptop right for me. I’m still coming up to speed on all of its features. I connected a USB hub to make it convenient to connect and disconnect the laptop from peripheral devices for portability. Works well.

My old laptop was 8 years old and it was time for an upgrade. This one was on sale at Best Buy and I snagged it. It's super fast and the graphics are crystal clear. It's just taking me a bit of time to come up to speed with Windows 10 vs my old computer with Windows 7.

The Dell - Inspiron 2 in 1 laptop is great. I love that is touch screen and can convert to tablet mode. I can take notes with the stylus and convert into a word document, that is a time saver when taking notes at a meeting. Really happy with my purchase!

I loved every feature this laptop had to offer. However; the sound quality was not up to part and I’ve had issues with installing apps that I need like Microsoft etc. that I use daily. I am just not a big fan of Dell products.

I have had it for almost a year now. Bought it last summer and so far, so good! Its pretty fast, and just has been doing all that it has been tasked with very smoothly, without fail. Beautifully constructed and feels very high end too.

Your Geek Squad is pretty worthless and I had to make 6 different trips to the store, scheduling an appointment every time before my computer was set up right. My requests were very minimal. I had very little on my old computer.

This is the first computer I have ever bought myself and so far it has not let me down. I just started law school this month and knew I needed a laptop that would work quickly with several tabs open. The only glitch I have experienced so far is that sometimes the fingerprint censor doesn’t seem to realize my finger is on it, but I am able to unlock it using either a password or a PIN in these cases.

This laptop boots fast, so SSD drives for me from now on. The screen is great and it HD, so I like that as well. The case and overall build seem durable as well. Overall this 2 in 1 has impressed me. There are some negatives with this 2 in 1, one being the fingerprint reader and the other is the sound card. Both of these will disappear and/of stop functioning from a sleep resume randomly. I updated the drivers and tried some other tricks, but it still happens. The only way to fix these two problems is a restart, so I'm sure it's a software or Windows 10 bug. The speakers are lacking and in a bad location as well. Yes would still buy this though....

Bought it about a month ago. Had two issues: 1) notebook failed to start (being connected to electricity socket) when battery was critically low before . 2) finger scanner often fails to run so I have to use PIN instead.

      Imakarenko,

Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about the issues that you've been having with your laptop so far. If you have issues with your computer starting, you can try the following:

      1. If the computer is displaying the Dell logo and does not move past that point, it has probably failed POST.
      2. If the power indicator lights up and it is amber or orange, this is usually an indicator that it has failed POST.
      3. If you see text on a black screen, the computer is currently performing the POST. If the computer stays in that condition and does not move past it, it has probably failed POST.
      4. If the video screen displayed anything at all during the startup process but is now black, this probably indicates that the computer failed POST.
      5. If the computer is beeping or if Caps/Num/Scroll Locks are flashing, note if there is a particular pattern in which it beeps or flashes.
      6. If the computer is not beeping and caps/num/scroll locks are not flashing, unplug all connections and remove all media communication devices (e.g. external monitors); reconnect one at a time and check if the computer functions.
      7. For a notebook, press and hold the Fn key and then press the power button. This starts the pre-boot testing and will launch ePSA. In case you have a Desktop at the Dell logo screen tap the F12 key to enter One Time Boot Menu and use the arrow keys to highlight Diagnostics and press enter.
