Atleast my skype starts within 10 seconds after start. There seems to be some problem with headset, but it is completely related to windows 10. After installing linux, everything works completely fine and smooth as butter :D. 12GB of ram does what it has it has to. I wish this model could come with 2 gb of nvidia graphics card then it would be all in one laptop for work and gaming :D

Great laptop for all of my needs in a computer!

I'm very pleased with the Dell support that I received both online and via telephone. They were easy to reach, accommodating and provided follow-ups to each question/concern I addressed. This online access, along with the speed and versatility of this laptop has earned my Dell Inspiron, great reviews. However, I'm disappointed that there isn't a CD application in this laptop.

Delivers more than expected

One minor flaw is the position of the power button, trying to reposition normally ends up pushing by accident and putting it to sleep. Also, be prepared, there is no Ethernet our VGA (there's no need unless you use it for work at an outdated office).

Good Laptop but Audio Stinks

The internal speakers have very little bass response and distort when turned up to a nominal listening level. There are random click noises when using headphones or external speakers. If sound is important to you - I would look elsewhere.
