The actual computer we bought our daughter for Christmas wouldn't even power on after being opened. When we took it to the store no one wanted to help us out until we got routed to Ian. He was fantastic and clearly understood the situation. They didn't have any of that model and come to find out it was last years model so they really couldn't get any more either. I suggested that they replace it with this years model (same computer, RAM, CPU, disk drive type and size). He checked and said he could do that. I was a little surprised, but after two other employees couldn't/wouldn't do anything for us it was a very welcome and refreshing change. The computer works and our daughter loves it and uses it daily.

My old hp died so I went with Dell. The design, and speed are awesome. There is a little backlight bleed, but not enough to condemn it. Wifi speed is good, but wish it had an Ethernet port. Processing speed is awesome for photo editing.

Great labtop for school. Fast and excellent for school needs.

I use my computer for work purposes. This includes photoshop and microsoft office. I'm am one that needs a speedy computer and so far this one has been great. It hasn't given me any problems.

This bad boy is SLICK and for the price, you're getting an absolute steal. The i7 core processor is the best and having a SSD is 10x better than not having one on my previous computers.

Laptop was exactly what I was looking for. Battery life has been good. Touchscreen is sensitive and accurate. Brightness is good as well even in a bright room. Have not taken it outside yet.

I really wanted to buy another MacBook Pro but when you compare the specs on this system and the price, I couldn't bring myself to do it. In addition to the specs and price, this is the only laptop I could find that feels and looks almost as beautiful as my previous MacBook Pro. Very happy with my purchase.

Last laptop I had was a del Inspiron thru work a dozen years ago. This Inspiron is fast, cool, quiet. Wanted laptop for quite a while. When desktop crashed, bought this while sons' IT friend recovered data from drive. Bought docking station to allow me to hook up to monitor, power, dvd player, network + additional ports via 1 connection. Stuck a 64GB mini thumb drive on laptop for quick file xfer & storage of items I don't want cluttering up SSD. Have it hooked up to Dell 24" monitor as extended display. No complaints on graphics speed. Used combo for presentation @ work yesterday (Company won't let any outside devices connect to network).

I had to replace a computer that was only two years old, so I was not exactly excited about making this purchase. However, I am pleased to report that this computer has been great so far. The best feature is the solid state drive, which makes booting up a super-fast task.....it definitely rivals the start up speeds of the MACs. Even thought I am constantly syncing my files to cloud storage, I don't notice the syncing in the background. No noise, no loss of processing speed for the projects I am working on. I didn't buy the computer for the tablet capabilities, but I have actually been using it as a tablet and I love it. Highly recommend this computer

I was hesitant to fork over a little extra cash for a system with an SSD HDD, but I believe it was well worth the cost. This thing boots up in about 15 seconds. SSDs are the way to go. The laptop itself also feels very sturdy. It has a quality feel to it if that makes sense. I like how the laptop will fold completely over in order to be used as a tablet. I didn't even know it could do this when I bought it. I've used that feature a few times already and am really finding it useful when showing others PowerPoints or documents on the laptop. This was a great purchase that I'm very satisfied with. My last few laptops were HP's. This Dell is great!

Bought it for personal use. It's super fast in comparison to normal hdd. I am getting 6 to 8 hours of battery life with mix use. Sound quality is okay.. good product at this price..

mostly I use my computer for data analysis and mapping. I am so impressed with how quickly arcgis runs on this machine. Love it! Great ratio of price to power.

Excellent big scree, fast processing. Have been using it for normal daily use. However sound is quite ok and could have been much louder. Viewing movies on the laptop without headphones isn't a great experience.

Geek Squad set up the computer for me. I have had zero problems with it. A very quick start up, can have multiple programs working at once, and a vivid screen. I recommend it.

This computer is so easy to use, boots right up, lightweight. Like the feature that it flips to use the screen to read books. Very pleased with computer and service we got.

I love how much quicker this computer is over my previous Dell that had the old school spinning hard drive that failed after 3 years even with me babying the computer. It is quicker and easier to set up although I am still not a great fan of windows 10 operating system. However the windows media player on the computer will only play music and not a DVD movie like the version on my previous computer. Also only 2 USB ports which is gross incompetence in design. I use a wireless mouse which eats up one port and since the computer has no built in DVD writer/player the separately purchased remote one takes up the other port. Therefore no where for a backup hard drive. It has an HDMI port which is good but badly needs a third USB port.

With the SSD for operating system, and using an USB 3.0 external hard drive for storage, you can't beat the speed of the system. Now if only I could afford faster internet!
