I bought this laptop less than a year ago and I've had issues ever since. The curser doesn't always respond and does whatever it wants. This laptop wouldn't even be useable without the touch screen or a wireless mouse. I've had it in the best buy service(where I bought it from) and dell service. All a temporary fix. This is a reoccurring issue that hasn't been solved and I feel stuck with a crappy laptop.

Not enough USB ports. The mouse pad is rather large and comes nearly to the edge of the laptop. If you rest your hand on the edge of the laptop, the edge of your hand will touch the mouse pad and interfere with the movement of the mouse. Other than that, it has been a great computer.

      Hello c00ljuice,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. We are sorry to hear that you were experiencing an issue with your touchpad in regard to your Inspiron 7620. We are happy to hear that you got your issue resolved but, in the future, if you need assistance I have provided troubleshooting steps below to resolve your issue. This is certainly not the experience that we like to hear from our customers. We will share your concern with our quality team so that improvements can be made to our current and future products and services. Below I have provided troubleshooting instructions with the full article that may be able to resolve the issue.

Here are the steps to help resolve your touchpad issue:
      1. Ensure the touchpad and your finger do not have any dirt, grease, liquids, or food on them (the touchpad has to make good contact with your finger to work correctly).
      2. Ensure that the touchpad is turned on.
      3. Save any data, close any open programs and restart the computer by using a wired USB mouse (if available) or Bluetooth mouse if it is already installed, if not, press hold the power button for at least 15 seconds to turn the computer off.
      4. Unplug everything except the power cable.
      5. Turn the computer back on and retest the touchpad.
      6. When the cursor does work correctly, attach one device at a time, and test the cursor movement to see which one may have caused the issue.
      7. Ensure that the BIOS and Chipset drivers are updated to the latest version.

We got the Dell Inspiron 2 in 1 laptop for use with my wife's business. It looked on paper like the perfect computer for her, as she does lots of accounting, forms and some MS Powerpoint slide presentations. The laptop is pretty large, obviously to fit the 16 inch touch screen display! And it is not light by any stretch of the imagination. It can be placed into "Tablet" mode by folding the keyboard all the way back, but I couldn't imagine having to hold it tablet form for any length of time. The laptop is solid, with no bending or creaking going on. Lots of ports give this laptop an advantage in it's ability to use lots of different accessories. Upon launching getting everything set up, the first thing we noticed is the screen is really bright, so much so that we had to turn it down a bit. To use Windows 11 you must create or log in to your Microsoft account, so be ready for that. We tied it to our WI-FI and got her files transferred pretty quickly. She loves the keyboard and the touch screen, although it takes some getting used to when you haven't used it before. Form completion was a snap, as was using the laptop in "Tent" mode to give a presentation. As far as the accounting piece, she was a little let down that a laptop of this size did not have a separate number keys area, but it's not a showstopper as we we can install a keypad on one of the multiple ports. Speaking of ports the laptop charges via USB-C port and does so fairly quickly. She is able to get through an entire day without having to recharge, using the laptop moderately throughout the day. Using it for multimedia or video watching might reduce this faster, but we had no issues. Again, as a desktop replacement in an office setting and presentation capable laptop, the Dell Inspiron is top of it's class. Having Intel IRIS integrated video and a 12th Gen I5 processor are not the top of the line, but for our use it is more than capable of tasks given it. The caveats of it's overall size and sheer weight could be offsetting to some, as tablet mode would be hard to utilize for long periods (Unless you do a lot of forearm exercises)! Short of that, this is a really good business and presentation capable laptop.
