QA problems plauges otherwise good computer

From horrible IPS glow, bad touchpad, to bad Bluetooth antenna that causes headset drop out. It took several exchanges and service technician appointments to fix in 1 month to fix. The device design, touch is good. Socketed ram is a huge win over its competitor, you can put 64GB of ram in this thing! The battery life is especially excellent. The biggest in all of convertibles ever I think But buy this IF you can handle the QA problems and exchanges

One, I use a docking station and a wireless keyboard. I fold the key board back to place in docking station. ON/OFF switch is on the computer Key board and hard to get at when in docking station. Would be nice if it was on the side of the computer. Would like a couple more USB ports, this only has two. Over all, a good value for the money

Watching episodes of Obi Wan on Disney Plus, 4k videos on youtube, etc. are amazing. Sound is crisp even at full volume and plenty loud. This computer has speakers on both sides of the keyboard for good stereo separation. Keyboard has a very nice feel and is easy to type quickly on, and is backlit (which you can turn off). Computer has all the connections you could ask for; 2 full size USB, 2 USB C connectors, either of which can power the unit. full size HDMI, full size SD Card reader, and headphone jack round out the connectors. Bluetooth flawlessly connected to my mouse as well as headphones, as expected. Battery life has been fantastic, I have used this for over 2 hours as I am typing this, having run through various tests, and it's still showing 85% battery life. Simultaneous Pro and Con at the same time: This laptop is a bit heavy, however the weight really is confidence inspiring. The hinges hold the screen securely at any angle. While the PC is heavy on the lap, the really good news here is that it stays cool, even after using it for hours. I have owned dozens of laptops through the years, and this is honestly the first one that isn't detectably warm on the bottom. The 14 inch screen Dell Latitude laptop that I had been using previously gets so warm after just half an hour of use that I have to have a pillow or board under it for it to not be uncomfortable. My final verdict: This is a great laptop for those really looking for a laptop with a large screen, better than average performance, at a price that isn't going to break the bank. I have zero real cons for this system. I am going to continue using my 14" laptop in the meantime just because it's a bit easier to travel with, but this computer is going to be my new go-to for everyday computing. Well done, Dell!

Only had one issue that would not self update. Called Express service HP and after two days of working on it the tech resolved the issue. He was responsive and called back when he said and communicated via email. Delivery was another story. BB system can’t track your deliveries and it arrived a day late and screwed up my trip plans as I was sitting waiting for a delivery that I didn’t know when it would arrive. Terrible experience.
