this is the best in every way I am so clad best buy turn me to this laptop

I purchased this laptop as a replacement for an older Dell I've owned for years. I was looking for something with a Core I7 proc and 16G of RAM. I had been circling a few different models including the Insprion 7000 series. The laptop is large and heavy, which doesn't matter for my purposes. Most of the time it sits on the end of my sofa. The performance is good and the display is gorgeous. Pros: Good processor and RAM specs, gorgeous display, nice backlit keyboard, good performance for the money. Cons: Large and heavy, 1TB spinning disk has plenty of space but SSD would be better, power button on the side is easy to hit accidentally.

Upon purchasing the laptop I continuously experienced my files "not responding" when ai tried to save them. I was told by geek dquad that this is somewhat normal bc although it is a fast laptop, it has moving parts and the drive can lock up at times. For the very very simple excel spreadsheet i was working on - and the fact that i did not have a bunch of other applications open, this was unacceptable to me, so i returned it

this has a big screen that can be good for some people it also is fast

A good machine except for 1 thing. There is no where to insert a disc if you want to install a new program. You have to do it online. Other than that it is a good computer.

Bought this for my mom who is 80 years old. She's not a gamer, but she is constantly playing games and before we got this laptop, she was always complaining about how slow her computer was. No more complaints, this is a powerful personal laptop!

I really appreciate the large screen since I use my computer for work continuously. The colors and clarity are great. Works best as a laptop since it is on the larger size.

I researched laptops for my daughter, who is entering the 6th grade, and thus was perfect. It has facial recognition for her to unlock the computer. The touchscreen is great since we never had one like this before. Very excited to own this.

I love the bargains that often appear in open box offerings ... this last purchase was very rushed and last minute, so neglected to see the "no power supply included" ... the unit has an atypical plug and higher wattage requirement so the universal PS didn't work ... also after the fact I found NO CD and no data cable socket - only the flash drive sockets and a few others ... the staff were extremely helpful and understanding but sorta limited by my lack of attention to detail ... still though, awesome screen / resolution, great speed, wonderful storage and WiFI connectability, and computer at a bargain price so I will always visit that area of the store first ... but surprises can occur when we don't carefully read labels and carefully inspect the peripheral capabilities so take your time and don't rush <smile>

Exceptional price and computer works great. If your looking for a computer that is really fast at a great price point then look no further. This is an I7 with 16 gigs of ram.

Love my new "toy"! Easy to learn to use. Very similar to version 7.

I am loving this laptop, it has awesome specs and the build is quality feel incredible. Touchscreen is very responsive, as is the touchpad. Battery is good for a larger laptop, played Minecraft for over 4 hours before needing to plug it in.

This laptop has been excellent so far. It is fast and the display is excellent. The colors are vivid and so amazing. I wish real life was so colorful. Therefore, one downside is I waste a lot of time staring at the wallpaper and screen saver.

It is a beautiful device. Add an Ssd drive and you will love it.

I have purchased Dell computers for years, for myself and family. I was hesitant about windows 10 but am happy with this choice. I love the touch screen on the laptop too!

It over a year now I have been using this laptop and can't complain. I had one problem with my first one that just stopped working within a few months, but since then everything seems to work great. I had an SSD drive installed so programs load fast, and it can handle several open tabs in chrome without crashing. Video is crisp with no stalling. I am planning on upgrading to the latest version which comes with an SSD already installed. I hope I have a present experience with the newer model.

Easy to use and set up. Got as a gift for my son for Christmas

It is one of the best for that price. The only drawback is that the power button is in an odd place, you hit it by mistake a lot. Also the speakers aren't that great.

Corei7 2tb hd under $1,200 by far the best bang for your buck.
