I wanted a large screen and the 17" screen is crisp and clear. The weight is not too bad, considering the size of the unit. No built-in optical drive; purchased an external drive. Relatively cool operating temperature.

sleek and fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop for use with Corel draw, movie editing, and Photoshop, so far it has done pretty well with Corel, but I haven't had a chance yet to try it out with PhotoShop and movie editing. I really like the tablet mode though for the Corel program.

All around great value

We use this for work (real estate professionals) and it's perfect (speed and storage) for everything we need: email and most office apps, web browsing & editing, HD video playback...and large enough to use for listing and investor presentations.

Great 2-in-1

Not the loudest speakers and in hind sight I should have gotten an SSD instead of the HDD. I cannot complain though it is a great machine for the comparable price with a 17" screen.
