But now he is ready to get rid of the desktop. He enjoys the steadiness of the size, the mobility and most of all the touchscreen.

It works ok most of the time, then it starts running extremely slow like it is overloaded with apps running or low memory to run the apps. I run support assist about every other day to keep it running and correct any issues. I would not recommend this product especially if you are not a tech savvy person.

Thanks for your review. We're happy to hear that you've been using Dell's Support Assist tool on your computer. We're sorry to hear that your computer's performance is not what you were hoping it would be. We'd also recommend running the Windows Performance Troubleshooter:
1. Close all open windows.
2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard.
3. Click Control Panel.
4. Click System and Security.
5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems.
6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process.
8. Restart the PC.
