In addition to that, I found out that after my laptop wakes up from sleep, the cursor disappears from the screen and i see a bunch of blotches on the touch screen (as if someone were pressing on the screen). I tried using the track pad and an external mouse and the cursor still didn't come back. I had to use the keyboard to shutdown/restart the computer.

Thanks for your review. We're sorry that your old files have not been transferred to your new computer yet. If you still have your old files stored somewhere we'd recommend that you visit Best Buy's Geek Squad so they can help you transfer everything from one computer to the other. You can also purchase an external hard drive to do this process yourself.
