After approx. ten days of ownership, Geek Squad advised me the computer should be returned because it is defected from the factory. The experience was truly terrible and cost me 10 days of frustration. However, it is interesting during a Walmart return of a computer WIFI accessory, the employee asked which computer I had purchased and stated I was the fifth person recently who had to return their new computer for similar issues. I have since heard from a computer repair technician that their experience with the new All-In-One Dell has not always been good. If you still insist on buying this model, be aware when programs do not download, JAVA is not loading, and Acrobat Reader is not functioning...it is not you but your computer that is failing to perform.

I have only had the system for 2 days, so obviously I cannot speak to longevity. But, I exchanged for this after purchasing the HP Envy 23.8 inch All In One the day before and having the system shut down during the initial set up. I was able to turn it on again after phoning Best Buy and talking to a Geek Squad technician. But, I was not happy that literally about an hour out of the box I was regretting my decision to switch to HP after being a Dell user for quite some time. This Dell system is working beautifully with the touchscreen responding flawlessly. The Dell onscreen guides one can open up are great (I don't know if I would have had these on HP or not as I never got that far). The two systems are the same price ($999) and the Dell has an i7 processor and 12 gb Ram while the HP has an i5 with 8 gb Ram. Clearly the value of the Dell surpasses the HP. This unit is very fast. The HP has a stationary monitor while the Dell has an adjustable one including a very low angled position which will come in handy for some applications or just to mix things up ergonomically. One thing to note is that in the store, the HP seemed to respond better when I tested Cortana, but at home, without the ambient noise of the store, Cortana is just great. Also, I was concerned that the Dell speakers would pale in comparison to the HP's, but the clarity and volume are excellent, and unless you are a sound geek of some sort, I doubt that there will be any disappointment. Assuming the unit is reliable long term, which my other Dells have been, I think this was a super purchase.

I got this over a year ago and it has been in the shop more than I have used it. it lags when starting and I would not recommend spending the money for a touch all in one, buy a tower unit which is what I should have done

Was wowed by the monitor and it's picture. However every function was painfullying slow and clunky. Couldn't deal with the archaic hard drive returned and bought a system with a SSD drive.

Purchased this pc and it never has worked right. It is painfully slow. I actually avoid using it as it is too slow - takes minutes to move from one thing to another. I am going to to take in for repair but out of warranty. I do not use it very much at all and do not have allot of stuff on it. It should fly through routine things and does nothing fast. i7 and 12 Gb should move fast but it is awful

My Asus G73jh gaming laptop finally began to show its age and became problematic likely due to a corrupt operating system issue. So I decided to purchase the next generation available. I looked it over at the store, but then I discovered this Dell. The touchscreen is very responsive. I played with an HP 27" touchscreen and wasn't impressed. The screen was pixelated and just didn't respond or look as vivid and clear the way the Dell's screen did. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Startup with Windows 10 was relatively painless for a Windows 7 user. My Windows 8 laptop was another story. I am an old school, start\program\etc... kind of guy. The tiles are useful, but I'm glad they came to their senses and restored the start menu functionality to the OS. Back to the Dell...I've had it a week now and I am currently running Microsoft SQL Server 2014 on it without any latency or issues other than services issues related to Windows 10 anomalies. I may look into upgrading the memory further down the line, and also verify if a beefier graphics card can be installed, but overall it's a great pc, very compact, and easy to use. Its screen is very vivid, touch sensitivity is fantastic, and for the money you just can't go wrong. I did purchase an ergonomic Microsoft keyboard and a Logitech roller ball mouse, but these things are preferences. The wireless keyboard and mouse that come with it will more than do the job. I can't speak for longevity, but many of the firms I have worked with and for have used Dells without issue, so hopefully the tight form factor lends itself to a long life span despite any possible overheating issues related to older units of similar design. I'm hopeful it will last a long time. Buy This PC!

This all-in-one is going back to Best Buy. I don't know if I just got a bad one or if they all have issues. It runs very slow. I was working on a project and got a warning screen and then it went blank and shut off. I lost everything I had been working on. I hadn't had a Dell in a long time and I won't be getting another.

Didn't not meet my needs, even though, my needs were little. This processor crashs about 4-6 times a day. Worst thing about this is I could not return this computer. Now I have a thousand dollar computer that is useless. If you are wanting a multitasking computer DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. I cannot stretch that enough.

Immediately after purchasing this brand new computer it was very slow to start and within a week it would not restart. I returned it to the store and was given a new computer after 2nd day of setting it up it came up with an error so I called Dell and was told to return this computer and get a different model.
