Not as nice as my old HP, but seems to work fine.

It does not have a CD drive, which I needed and thought it had (my fault for not checking), so I have to buy an external CD drive. Best Buys was sympathetic and gave me a $30 gift card toward a new CD drive.

It was beginning to slow down and we were advised it was time to buy a new one. The salespeople in the store were very helpful (though one of the products I was told to buy I had to return the day the Geek Squad guy installed the pc. I had been given wrong info on that purchase). I exchanged the software at the store I made my July 4 purchase with no problems - other than the fact the new item was way more costly. We have had NOTHING but PROBLEMS with this new computer. It is extremely slow. EXTREMELY SLOW. Last weekend, I had to return the pc to the store Geek Squad as it completely died. My husband was very upset as he had planned on working several hours that morning on the computer. I was lucky enough to get an appointment within 2 hours of calling for one. It stayed at the store for a couple of days having diagnostic testing. I picked it up and was told that everything should be fine and that it was running at a good speed. The machine is still EXTREMELY SLOW. And several times in the past week, it has gone out and we have had to turn it off and start again. This morning we had another issue - we tried to log onto a site (whether it was chrome or edge), the screen went white with the search circle spinning. This went on for over a half hour. We could not exit or reach another site. We eventually turned the pc off - without being able to use the proper turn-off function and tried starting it a half hour later. It is now functioning but this was one of the worst purchases I have ever made. I don't know if we just got a lemon or if this pc is just awful. WE ARE VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS COMPUTER.

If you'd like to see if you can improve the performance of your computer, we'd recommend trying to run the Windows Performance Troubleshooter:
1. Close all open windows.
2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard.
3. Click Control Panel.
4. Click System and Security.
5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems.
6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process.
8. Restart the PC.
