Too Many Problems
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it's working, it's a great computer. But I've had these continual problems starting a few days after I purchased it: 1. Computer often doesn't wake when having been in sleep mode for an extended period of time such as overnight. When this happens, the only way to get the computer to work is to unplug it and then plug it back in. Dell customer service is trying to fix this but doesn't seem to be helping much. 2. Once in a while it turns on with a bunch of squiggles on the screen and I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work properly 3. Every single time I want to listen to an audio, if it's been more than say an hour since I last listened to something, I have to go into "sounds," click a couple random buttons, and it eventually works

I love the touchscreen feature!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With many things going remote nowadays, I needed a new desktop to keep up with school and work related demands. I came across the Dell - Inspiron 24" Touch screen All-In-One desktop, and I am really happy that I did. The desktop is sleek and has a really elegant design that goes with my living space. The best thing about this desktop is that the only hardwire going to the computer is the power wire! The keyboard and the mouse are completely wireless, so that means less clutter around my desk and more freedom of placement for these accessories. I purchased a brand new L-shaped desk for my new Dell - Inspiron 24" Touch screen All-In-One desktop, and its compactness allows me to place my gaming laptop and a second monitor all in the same desk. In the box, you get the: monitor/computer; keyboard; mouse; and batteries. The initial setup for the desktop is really simple, and it is even guided by Cortana, so you can use voice commands to set things up. I was able to link cloud services, email, and a few other things during initial setup. One thing that I wasn't too sure how to work was the built-in webcam. I wasn't sure how to make it pop up, and thought that I just needed to pull on the small red tape that was there. It turns out that you just press down on the camera and it will pop right out. Just an FYI for those out there wondering how to get that going since the instructions were not clear on the process. Once the computer is up and running, make sure to go into your setting and make any available updates to the desktop. There were quite a few to be made. As for the touchscreen function, I love it! It is the reason why I went with the Dell - Inspiron 24" Touch screen All-In-One. It is responsive and extremely convenient! I love the touchscreen feature, especially when I am taking notes in class. I can use it for quick access to things just like with my laptop. Another great thing about the Dell - Inspiron 24" Touch screen All-In-One is that you have an SD card reader, multiple USB ports, USB-C, ethernet connection, and HDMI connections built right in to the computer. One disappointing things for me, being a student, was that Microsoft Office is not provided with the new Dell - Inspiron 24" Touch screen All-In-One desktop purchase, so be ready to spend a few extra bucks for the software. You only get a one month trial of office. Overall, the Dell - Inspiron 24" Touch screen All-In-One is great! I am happy that I went with it. The desktop looks great and feels great. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Lighting Fast and Awesome Design
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never owned an all in one, but I am really impressed with this machine. Not only is it lighting Fast, the screen looks great, and the pop up webcam is a great feature to incorporate a webcam and add a little security by hiding the camera when not in use. The latest gen i7 does everything you need and more. I've had no trouble browsing the web, running my DAW (which usually takes a ton of power) and doing the usual computer stuff. I've seen zero performance hiccups since I got the computer and would say the performance is top notch. The computer also comes with a mouse and keyboard, though I'll say they are pretty cheap feeling and nothing to write home about. If you like high quality peripherals then you'll want to buy something better. One neat feature I've found is that you can use the built in monitor as display for another computer or anything you'd like. I find it pretty useful to plug up my work computer to. The speakers sound pretty good for built in speakers. They are by no means the best sounding speakers you've heard but they sound pretty good. Overall I'm really impressed with this computer. It's built well, has a great screen and incredible performance. I think you'll be in great shape using this computer for anything but the most intense of uses.

Great delivery and nice to use...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, we are now at a point where All-in-one computers can be and do everything needed for someone’s main computer. I would say there are a few groups that may not use this as a main system but then this would be a great second home computer for your younger kids or families, say in the kitchen area. The video and speakers are great for videos and watching movies but would not impress for high end gamers. This would also not meet the needs of someone doing video editing. Otherwise, this is great and top end performance for any other uses. I like the fact that it has so many ports on the back and the look and feel is top line. I like the popup web cam. It is perfect for work or zoom calls. The registration process and initial setup was top of the line easy. The included wireless keyboard and mouse worked well. There are enough ports and easy access if someone wanted to use their own devices. I look forward to using it more.

Dell Does It Again!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply put, I love this PC! The Dell brand of personal computers is one I am well familiar with, and can highly recommend them. Not only is this Dell Inspiron 24” Touch Screen All-In-One a thing of beauty to look at, it is truly a great computer, both in style and functionality. Setting up the computer, from the unboxing to getting Windows squared away (including going through the many updates) was pretty basic, and took way less time than I’d have expected. All in all, a flawless (even fun) procedure. One of the main things I was curious about was to see how well the new Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics would perform, especially while doing my book editing and casual gaming. Initially, I ran a benchmark test using FFXIV just to see what I might expect. After maximizing the window to full-screen, the test results were in the middle to mid-high range. Not too shabby. During my gaming sessions of playing Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, and Diablo 3, the games ran beautifully, even at mostly high settings. Smooth rendering, with no pixelation or lag. Though for more continuously graphics intensive games, this may not be the case. After all, this Dell Inspiron isn’t a gaming computer. As for routine web surfing, I had multiple browser tabs open, and could perform other functions on the computer, with no trouble at all. Having 16GB of Memory is nice too, as is the 512GB Solid State Drive. Now to touch on a few key features ... Display - Although the monitor screen appears to have more of a matte finish, rather than the glossy glass I’m more partial to, I can well appreciate that this surface is less likely to show fingerprints, which is a good thing given the monitor is also a touch screen. That infinity edge display is pretty sweet, too. Audio - The sound coming from the textured and ‘rich’ looking speaker which runs along the entire length of space beneath the monitor, isn’t bad at all. Actually the audio is quite good. And I didn’t even have to turn it all the way up to max volume, either. Webcam - Standard visual quality. Though I really like that it is hidden until you choose to use it; then with a gentle push, ‘pops-up’, giving you the option to have the camera visible for use such as signing in via facial recognition or for video chatting or streaming. This feature also provides another level of privacy and security, especially for people with young children who may have such concerns. Ports & Slots - There is a good variety of plug-ins on the rear of the monitor which are easily accessible for what you might want/need to make use of with your peripherals. Included accessories - The full-sized keyboard and mouse are adequate, providing responsive typing strokes and smooth cursor movement. Worth noting - The A-frame stand is not only sturdy, but looks quite modern too. The monitor position itself is able to be adjusted, pivoting forward or back, to get the monitor to lean at the most optimal angle for viewing. I really, really like this stand! Well done, Dell. My final thought ... I can absolutely recommend this Dell Inspiron 24" Touch Screen All-In-One without any reservations whatsoever. It’s one of the best PCs I’ve ever owned.

Great Computer, no complaints
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer is great, it replaced a tower and monitor, which means it takes up considerably less space. The overall look is sleek, minus the top portion (looks cheap), however, the webcam can be hidden by pushing it down into the monitor, it is spring-loaded, so if you wish to use it to unlock the computer or for meetings, you can push it again and it will appear. I have used the computer for several different things from gaming to photography. I can tell you that it runs super smooth, the graphics are fairly decent. The SSD runs great. The sound quality from the soundbar under the monitor is fairly good. Overall I have no real complaints about this computer.

A fantastic All-In-One
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this computer for a few days now, and I haven't found a single thing that I don't like about it. Performance is solid, I love the screen, and the included keyboard and mouse are comfortable to use. When not in use, the system doesn't take up much space and it looks great. I'm using it as a second system on my work-from-home desk so I can take a break to browse, watch videos, or read the news without using my VPN-connected work system. The full-size bluetooth keyboard is great to use, and the keys are even fairly quiet. The scroll mouse is comfortable and works well, and includes a tiny USB bluetooth adapter for one of the many USB ports on the back of the AIO. However, if you already have your own favorite bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo there's no reason you couldn't use that with this system instead. I think the included ones are great, though. The non-glare, somewhat matte finish, touch screen is beautiful, crisp, and clear. I haven't found myself using the touch screen much, but when I did I didn't notice any fingerprints left on it so that's good. I also think the pop-up camera in the top of the monitor is a great feature. You no longer have to worry about covering up the camera so it isn't staring at you when you're not using it--I think all systems should be built like that! Another great feature is the screen can be tilted back at whatever angle is best for viewing in your setup. I've heard the fan kick in a few times while using it, but it was much, much quieter than the fan on my work HP Elitebook laptop. I've also felt only the faintest hint of warmth around the top of the monitor, so it seems to run much cooler than I would have expected. It comes with a nice number of ports on the back (1xUSB2.0, 3xUSB3.0, 1xUSB-C, 1 HDMI input, and 1 HDMI output) and even still includes a wired Ethernet port. I may not need to use it, but it's nice to know it's there if I do! I would not hesitate to recommend this Dell AIO. If something happened to this one or one of my existing desktops, I'd buy another one these to replace it. It's a fantastic AIO.
