Customers are saying

Customers value the large screen size and the ease of use of the Inspiron 27" All-in-One. They also appreciate the touchscreen functionality and the computer's performance for everyday tasks. While the ample memory is praised, some users find the hard drive to be slow. Overall, the positive feedback on the screen, ease of use, and performance outweighs the concerns about the hard drive speed.

Strongly built computer. Unboxing and setup was very easy with no tool requirement at all. Glossy but clean 27” IPS screen combined with Intel graphics 630 provide great picture quality, but with limited amount of brightness, probably because of display panel type. Huge 27” touch screen makes use very pleasant and that feature itself makes this computer a very good device. Sound quality is very good, much better than expected to be honest. Intel Core I7 processor combined with 12GB RAM makes this computer able to handle all the tasks very good. My only real complaint about this computer it’s the hard drive – while it does provide plenty of space - performance is slow and noisy (boot up to desktop in full minute, and shut down to full power off in 37 seconds), so I will definitely upgrade mine to SSD. Computer has plenty of ports: 3 USB 3.0, 2 of USB 2.0, 1 USB type C, 2 HDMI ports, one RJ45 / network port and 1 SD card reader. Push to slide out camera (on top of the screen) is very nice touch and seems to be capturing good picture quality. Computer comes with very nice Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, integrated speakers, microphone and camera, so no need for messy cords on your desk. Standing base is strong and very stable so you don’t have to worry about it knocking it over when using computer as touch screen. Lack of tower is space saver! I would definitely recommend this computer to everyone, but because of hard drive will knock of 1 star. Pros: Powerful processor Plenty of RAM Big screen Touch screen Very good sound quality Lots of ports Space saver Integrated mic and camera Bluetooth keyboard and mouse combo Cons: Hard drive, slow and noisy

Full computer that could pass as a TV

Simply put, this is a perfect all in one computer if you are looking for something that is more like a TV in form factor but has all the capability of a Windows computer. If you are limited on space, don’t want to have a tower, don’t want to limit yourself to the size of a laptop or don’t want to have anything more than a power cord connected, this is for you. With the technical specs included in this model (listed below) it is a fully capable computer. However, don’t expect it to be a high end gaming or editing machine with the Intel UHD 630 graphics. With that said, if you have a gaming console, you can plug it into this monitor by HDMI and push the source button on the bottom right side, just like a TV. I’m personally not a fan of pre-made all in one machines, only because I’m a tech savvy type person that likes to customize and upgrade my computer. However, my kids and my parents don’t need to be confused with all the internals. They just want to get on the internet, play their little games and watch videos while in their dorm or bedroom with the familiarity of Windows operating system. This Dell Inspiron 7777 All-in-One is exactly for them. The whole set up is a little heavy out of the box, around 20lbs, and the stand base attaches with a thumbscrew. A USB dongle is in the mouse to connect the included wireless mouse and keyboard, once it and the power is plugged in and batteries put in the keyboard and mouse, you are up and running in a matter of minutes. With the built in speaker, microphone and touchscreen, you don’t even need the keyboard or mouse to get setup with Cortana. On that note, there is also a webcam and IR cam, for face recognition, in the top that pops up when pressed. Convenient for video calls and hiding the camera in case of privacy concerns. I’ve never had a device so large that was touchscreen, but this has 10 point multitouch. Convenient for when you don’t want to pull the mouse and keyboard out to maybe select a new video, close out a window or flip the page on whatever you are doing. Though this model from Best Buy comes with the pedestal stand that only tilts -5° to 30°, Dell has an option for an articulating stand which allows the screen to sit flat and you could turn this multitouch screen into a piano. The screen also has a satin like non-reflective surface that does pretty good with avoiding fingerprints. Touch it after eating some chips and you might need some isopropyl alcohol to wipe it down, as with any screen. Some of the specifications on the Best Buy page are a little misleading, but this is exactly the hardware that came in mine. Great all in one PC. Came nicely packaged and includes a nice wireless keyboard and a mouse (although kind of basic, I plugged in my trusty mechanical keyboard and a gaming mouse). The screen is clear, with little gloss. The included speaker is loud! Upon setup, I was welcomed by the usual bloatware, aka McAfee, which I proceeded to uninstall right away. Windows defender and firewall are more than enough (although if you want something else, there are very nice alternatives like Avast, Comodo which are free, or Malware bytes which you could pay). The PC was fast, although it doesn't have an SSD, the included drive must be a 7200 rpm as it was fast (you still have an empty slot so you could add an nvme drive). Plenty of speed for business and home apps like office, web surfing, email, AKA a nice home/office PC. Don't expect this pc to be a gaming one. The included intel UHD 630 graphics are very bad for modern AAA games. I did not see an option to upgrade it, there isn't space to add a video card and the PC doesn't have thunderbolt to add an external one. Some games may work, but on very low settings and maybe 720p. Oh, forgot to mention, the screen is a touch one! Almost forgot, because who would in their sane mind smear fingerprints and grease on their PC screen. Leave that for tablets or phones. But it is there if you wish to use it and its super responsive, no problems there. It also has a nice web cam on top, and I love the loading mechanism. Its like a slot loader drive, but vertical. You can have the cam hidden and unslot it only when you wanna skype or so. Also, I used Dell's software updater to see and there were quite a few updates, including a BIOS update, so make sure you update everything, including drivers and run windows update. Remember, whatever comes installed is already old! Overall, its a great all in one PC, which takes almost no desk space, quiet, fast and great for Home/Office!

This All-In-One PC is a great addition to any workspace. It is compact, yet powerful. The 27-inch display gives you the feeling of a full PC without the bulky tower to have to worry about. The built-in speakers get quite loud, and I was surprised at their power. There is an ample amount of USB ports located on the back of the machine along with 2 HDMI , an additional USB on the side along with a USB-C port and an SD card slot. These are added conveniences and I appreciated them. The setup was super simple, and it basically was plug-and-play out of the box. This is a great computer for anybody looking to get up and running in a hurry. The included wireless keyboard and mouse feel quite nice and are very responsive. The 1TB HD gives you plenty of space to store any photos and media as well. The touch screen capability is a nice bonus, but I don’t really see myself using it in place of the keyboard/mouse. It is available, and I found that it was quite good in terms of response time and feel. Even though this is not marketed as a gaming machine, and has an integrated graphics card, I did load up a newer game that was not super graphically demanding and was able to run it without any issues. It was decently smooth also. Overall, I would recommend this All-In-One PC to anybody looking to add a sleek and compact computer to their workspace without having to sacrifice speed or productivity.

I am a big fan of all in one desktop computers and tower based computers. I was using Alienware Aurora R7 as my main gaming computer and bought Dell Inspiron 7777 All in one computer as second computer to replace my 10 year old 27” iMac. It has perfect configuration and much better look. It came with excellent package and very easy to assemble. Within 15 minutes, I was able to configure all settings with Microsoft account. I like the wireless keyboard and mouse. The touch and feel of the keyboard is so good. It comes with latest 8th generation intel i7 processor, 27” inch FHD touch screen, 12GB RAM and 1TB HDD. It has built-in popup camera for video calls and very unique design to hide the camera when not in use. It came with very less preloaded software. I have uninstalled MacAfee antivirus software and configured windows security as default. I never had any issues with windows security. After all windows updates, I ran the dell driver updates to update the latest bios and other drivers. I did notice some lag compare to my gaming PC as this one has only HDD instead of SSD. It could have been better if it is 4K monitor instead of 1080P monitor. The performance is really great and all softwares are loading very quickly and my kids were using this AIO touch screen features very effectively. I have given the complete configuration below. Intel Core i7-8700T @ 2.40Ghz 27” FHD 1920 x 1080 IPS 60Hz Touch Support with 10 touch points Pedestal stand tilts -5° to 30° 12.0 GB DDR4 SODIMM RAM 64 Bit Windows 10 Home 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache 2.5” Hard Drive Intel UHD Graphics 630 HDMI In & HDMI out Realtek Audio with headphone jack and AUX output Realtek RGB Camera, 2 MP images, 1920 x 1080 at 30 FPS Realtek IR Camera, 0.3 MP 640 x 480 at 30 FPS Qualcomm Wireless 802.11ac Bluetooth 4.2 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet controller integrated on system board SD/SDHC/SDXC card reader Three USB 3.1 Gen 1, One USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Type-C) port and Two USB 2.0 All-in-all, this a great pre-configured all in one PC at a great price with outstanding performance.

The last home computer suddenly blue screened! It was 9 years old and was still using Windows 7. Clearly I only had one choice, replacement. I searched and did my homework. My last computer was and HP. I thought I would go the same route, but didn’t really like what I saw in the HP line. I saw the 27” Dell, liked specs (Windows 10, 12GB RAM, i7 8th Gen Processor etc.) read a few more reviews and waited for it to go on sale. I should have bought it last Black Friday, but I didn’t. Now that I have it, the screen size is perfect! I really enjoy not having a tower, even if the tower was hidden. With most things also having shifted to online (dumping the discs) and streaming, an all-in-one was an attractive choice. Performance is great too! The only downside, as is with most computers, are the constant updates, but it is part of owning one. I also purchased an external cd drive for burning etc. and the cost of the external drive is palpable. I hope it lasts as long or longer than my last one but only time will tell. Overall, I’m really enjoying not having as many cables as before.

I was very excited to get my hands on this computer as I had been using a gaming rig for business and other professional uses, and although it handled the job well, there are aspect of a gaming computer that don't lend themselves into the studious works of a professional. The much larger screen that is touch screen, the saved space of no tower, the surprisingly loud speaker attached, all things that aren't typically included in the gaming PC, but are helpful and found on this PC when doing work. As soon as I started to unpack this Dell All-In-One from the box, I immediately noticed that this computer is a tank. Its heavy, sturdy, and leaves no doubt that you have just put your hands on a quality piece of equipment. The stand is easily and firmly attached to the computer. I would recommend that you know where you are going to put this computer and have that space clear before removing the computer from the box, as I nearly dropped it attempting to move another electronic device out of the way. No, you won't need to team lift this computer, its just surprisingly heavy for its size. Despite the heft, the computer's footprint on your desk is significantly smaller than a traditional pc. Which is always a plus as somehow clutter always seems to find its way onto my desk. Once the PC is in place, plug in the power cord, put the batteries into the supplied wireless keyboard and mouse, place the supplied Bluetooth dongle into one of the many USB ports, and power your new machine on. If you haven't bought a new computer lately, Windows has become so easy to set up that you don't even need to touch your computer once you have powered it on for the first time. Windows's digital assistant Cortana talks to you and listens to your responses. I was cleaning up the packaging contents from the PC while Cortana walked me through setup from across the room. This was a very nice experience, and although Windows does the programming, it was immediately apparent that the installed speaker and mic were definitely up to par. Something that you may not know is that there is a webcam built in to the PC, but it is hidden into the top of the computer, and only comes out when you press on it. I use the camera to log in to the computer when I sit down. But for those of you that are security minded, its nice to be able to hide the camera so that you don't have to worry about digital prying eyes. Now that your computer is set up, take your keyboard & mouse and let the neighbor kids play with them while you run back to Best Buy and get a decent pair to use. Maybe I am spoiled with my higher end peripherals, but they feel cheap to me and the mouse is SLOW. Initial impressions when using the computer are that the computer is very responsive due to the 8th Generation Intel i7, can handle lots of tasks at once with the 12gb of installed RAM, and was up to the challenge to any kind of professional task I had to throw at it with the 1 TB HD and large screen. Even when I got off task to browse media sites such as YouTube, it did it well. I have watched television shows on this computer, however the picture did not impress. It was acceptable, but definitely not "wow" worthy. Maybe its the lack of a premium graphics card that lends to this? Not sure. Where it lacked in picture, it did make up for in sound, however. I know I mentioned it before, but the sound of this computer just blows me away for being factory stuff. I definitely wouldn't mind listening to music without any aftermarket speakers. There are a lot of good things in this computer, but with the lack of an SSD, old generation USB ports, and an adequate screen, this computer just feels like it came to the party just a little bit late. The boot times feel like this computer takes an eternity to boot compared to any of my other computers. Data transfer speeds are also limited to the USB 2.0 parameters. I have not opened up this computer yet, and maybe I can do some easy upgrades that would really make this thing fly (fingers crossed). But until then, this PC benchmarks in the middle of the pack. Ultimately, this is a really good computer. Its a quality piece that checks a lot of the boxes. I will use the computer every day. I just wish they took the couple more steps to turn this computer from good to AMAZING.
