this Dell Inspiron is sexy, very clean after taking out of the box and actually seeing the monitor in person is deff something that I enjoy looking at, the speakers on this monitor are great! i was surprise of how good they are. the ability to have a touchscreen is a little extra feature that was nice to have, but prob won’t use it much coz I don’t want my screen to get dirty! the few things I didn’t like is prob the camera, I didn’t like how low the quality of the camera, I feel like it’s 2019 and a much better quality camera is prob not much to request about. also the package is all in one, so it came with keyboard and mouse, that’s the other down side, I feel like there’s not much love was put towards the mouse and keyboard, they are wireless, and both are super light. makes them feel cheap. over the main computer is what i’m happy about, great colors and i7 CPU was a nice touch! thank you Dell maybe improve the camera, keyboard and mouse a little bit next time.

You can read the specs and see that this computer is not made for performance. My review is after extensive testing. The Good: Awesome display in a compact form factor: I use a 27 inch monitor on a daily basis. Compared to this guy the old one looks like an outdated beast. The slim bezels and the fact that the sound bar has been put under the display separately, gives the optical illusion of a much smaller display. So much so that I broke out the tape measure for verification. Another plus for this form factor, at desk height, is that it is the recommended height to be user friendly visually. In other words no more craning of the neck to take in the complete display Security: The fact that the webcam is completely hidden in the chasis of the machine prevents those unwanted cyber Peeping Toms when you are unaware. Further. Hello Windows, which allows you to log in with the equivalent of Face ID works quickly in all lighting environments once you have trained the computer to recognize you (in my case both with and without glasses). McAfee comes free for one year and protects not only your device but additional devices on your McAfee account. You can also keep the computer unlocked as long as it is near your mobile device using Dell Mobile connect Samsung DeX - There are good and bad points on this software. If you have a recent Samsung flagship device, mine is the Note 10+, You can control your phone form the computer while mirroring the screen. The only downside is the limited number of apps involved at this time. The bad: Just about everything else: Upon receiving the device, the computer would not recognize its own wireless dongle. Contacted Dell support who immediately sent me out a new set up. Upon arrival, I found that this would not connect either. I finally broke down an attached my wireless Chrome mouse which amazingly was recognized on connection. After a bit of phone googling found the Dell receiver control panel, installed it and the mouse was recognized. Display: its almost 2020 and this 27 inch display woefully under performs with a 1080p resolution. It also seems that most of the movies you can buy with the built in Cinema display are locked in to this poorer resolution. If, like me, you use services like Movies Anywhere, this is a no. No HDR, no 4K. I believe the cost and hardware use to make this computer touch screen would have been more wisely invested in booting graphics and the barely there 12gb memory. The Intel graphics card is eligible for an upgrade but going to Intel's website notifies you that the card is locked by the manufacturer. One plus is being able to mirror to my streaming device and projector extending the display to a bigger screen when needed but I think that feature is standard. Ports: There are a lot of ports. The first time I connected my Note to try out DeX, the computer kindly told me that my experience would benefit more from the USB C port. Not so much. The next time I connected my phone to this port with the manufacturer's USB C cable , I realized that not only was the phone not charging but it was losing charge. I left the computer in sleep mode overnight (never losing power) the next morning the phone had gained a paltry 5%. Luckily I had a fast charging brick to top up with before starting my day. I did not have this issue with the USC to USB C cable that i used earlier. Back to the hiding camera. Although this camera does a great job identifying you for log in, its only 2MP. I can't remember what year 2 MP cameras were a thing. Processor: 1.8 GHz??? Nuff said. Bottom line, this is a midrange laptop on a stick. Although the review may have seemed a bit harsh, I like it for my needs. I already own a high end computer and after spending 8 hours a day on the computer, i usually revert to tablets in the evenings. This computer will be used for paying bills, web searches and occasionally side streaming a movie during football season. Would I recommend it to a friend? If they have a small space and need something to double as a television maybe. At this price point - no

Powerful AIO PC has changed my mind

The last AIO PC I used was a long, long time ago and, as with all things techy, given a little time things certainly changed. Enter the Dell 7790 AIO. I never took to touch-screen PCs except for laptops and am not yet 100% sold on their utility but the 7790 is a sweet package even as a straight-up computer. It's a cool design and basically looks like a 27" monitor with integral sound bar. With plenty of processing power and RAM this will be dedicated to my studio for recording music [nothing commercial, simply for self-enjoyment]. Plenty of USB ports [none used by mouse or keyboard due to their being Bluetooth-based], no lack of CPU power with the 10th gen i7 and plenty of internal storage [512GB NVMe]. Also, RAM can be self-upgraded if what I read on the web is correct to 32GB total. The pop-up camera w IR works great to support Win10's facial recognition but don't look to it to produce high-quality pics or videos, the resolution is far too low [2.1MP max resolution]. How does it crunch numbers, so to speak? Using a couple of DAWs, I haven't experienced lengthy delays or stuttering while recording / processing / editing. NO complaints here! TL, DR: It runs silently, the screen is beautiful, the system is responsive [fast!], The only thing I would change about this system is the keyboard and only if it was used heavily [which I do].The KB is quite light with no feedback to speak of, just doesn't have a substantial feel of solidity to it. I'm used to mechanical KBs so this is from a biased perspective. Not a show stopper, Bluetooth-based keyboards abound! Will be recommending this to a couple of friends who are in the market for an AIO type PC for space savings but with the need for good processing power and wireless network access.

This is the first Dell that I've owned and wouldn't typically be the brand that I would go for when searching for a PC, but I'm more than pleasantly surprised with the overall performance of this All-in-One PC. It is pretty well loaded with a 27" monitor, 12GB of RAM, 512GB SSD drive, USB-A and USB-C ports, HDMI In/Out, memory card reader and a sound bar that is mounted underneath the monitor. The sound bar isn't going to give you a great audio experience, but if that's what you are looking for you would use some external speakers for your audio. They are more that sufficient for my use of listening to podcasts, streaming TV and audio. You can also adjust the settings using the MaxxAudio Pro app that is included with this system. You can adjust the audio levels to your liking. The touchscreen isn't something that Im used to on a monitor this size, but it is very responsive to the touch and does well enough. I wish the display settings were better though. I've played with the settings quite a bit and there still seems to be a little less brightness than I would like, but that is going to be user specific. The power button is hidden underneath the right side of the speaker, which isnt the easiest spot, but it does have a little white indicator light that lets you know its on. What I found out later by doing some research online, is there is another button to the left of the power button. This button allows you to switch inputs. This is a great feature for me as I am able to use it as a second monitor on my desktop which is an excellent bonus for my use. It also comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I would have preferred to have a setup that is rechargeable via USB-C, but both the keyboard and mouse use batteries. Im not sure how long they last and I didn't see any reference to them in the included manuals. I also would have preferred a different color. Both are white, which matches the monitor, but that is not ideal for most people. All in all, I really like this Dell AIO and I plan to run it through its courses over the next several weeks to see how well it runs once I've loaded all of my software on it. I also plan to use the touchscreen more to see if it is really a feature that I would find beneficial.

Wow, awesome, impressive, capable, and aesthetically pleasing. Let’s start w setup. Eezee Peezee. Within10 minutes everything up and running smoothly from face recognition, internet, music (speakers were excellent), videos, mail, surfing — and all smooth as silk. Everything just works as I’d hoped thanks to built in assistant leading (Cortana) the way and answering any questions. The design is exceptional in that the beautiful 27” display mounted on 2 legs with perfect spacing for wireless keyboard and mouse make for a beautifully efficient foot print on any desk. The ease of adjusting the viewing angle and camera are top notch. Mouse and keyboard are not top quality in that both are a tad cludgy, but work exceptionally well, hence no complaints. I appreciate the large keyboard in that it speeds data entry with full numeric keypad and many function keys to accommodate app shortcuts. The mouse is extremely accurate and responsive with smooth scrolling wheel. The touch screen is icing on the cake, and comes in handy for a few apps. As for performance, the Intel I7 CPU is powerful enough to enable all but the most demanding video to be more than adequate displayed. The SSD drive is very fast, and the amount of RAM allows for stellar performance. Only serious rendering of 4K video pushed it’s limits. In short, there is power galore for probably 95% of the requirements of all users for working w photos, videos, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, etc. Bottomline: Value is superb, and I strongly recommend this product as an exceptional all around family computer without any reservations.

This is my first all in one type pc and we're very happy with it. Having a 4 year old at home, it's great to have a touchscreen on this. It's not revolutionary or anything, it's just an all around good computer. The form factor is awesome, it's very quiet as well. It's also nice not having a tower, we now have more leg room. My only complaint is that it didn't include a stylus. This would've been a really nice addition, especially when you consider other PC's include one. All around great value and we're really happy with it.

Hi!! Personally I am a laptop kind of guy. I travel back and forth from home and office and a laptop functions better for me. But, my wife works out of the house sometimes spending a considerable amount of time working on the computer. Well, she received, what I believe, the best computer to fit the work that she does. She deals with a lot of photography projects, close work and heavy doses of computer time. The PC she received from me has everything she needs to handle her workload and then some. The PC is a Windows 10 All in One Computer. It has an I7 Processor, 12 GB of RAM and a 500 GB SSD Drive. But that is not all. It also has a 27" monitor that is just glorious. There are ports to USB and HDMI devices and it came with a wireless keyboard and mouse. The computer has worked flawlessly and she is extremely impressed and delighted with the computer. And I do agree, it is an awesome computer package that should give her great service for a long time.

WOW! What a fantastic surprise this turned out to be. I've always insisted on Samsung screens because (in my opinion) they have the best display. Well this Dell is right up there. Great display. I wasn't sure about the white boarder, keyboard and mouse (I have always had black electronics) but it works well with the white shutters in the office. Setup was a breeze. Siri is my friend but I think Cortana is my new best friend! She walked me through all the setup and it was so easy. And I LOVE how the video camera at the top pops up when you want to use it but isn't on" all the time. I have fairly slow internet at my house but this new Dell certainly performs/outperforms my existing All in One. I would recommend this Dell hands down!
