Wow, fancy computer you got there!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dell’s latest All-In-One-Desktop shows a maturity for the aesthetic that works well for a mid-range desktop computer. The 27” screen size presets a visually appealing experience and the grey and white shades of color offer the user a refined style not often found in desktop computers. Or as my friends said, “Wow, fancy computer you got there.” In terms of computing performance the Passmark score of 5335 puts it in the middle of the scale with the machines highest benchmark going to its hard drive with a disk mark score of 30634. This is not a machine for your teenager who is trying to get rich by winning gaming tournaments nor is it a good fit for the professional content creators. Instead this machine is best suited for general computing purposes or what I call casual computing. While the aesthetic of the computer is wonderful, there are some frustrations to this form factor that should be considered before choosing this model. First, all of the expansion ports except for a single USB-C are on the back center of the display including the slot for the SD-card. If you need to use an SD-card or swap out peripherals on a regular basis and don’t have easy access to the back of this computer it can be rather annoying. While I enjoy the visual of a color matched keyboard and mouse, the gray mouse included is horrible and reeks of cheaply made plastic. It’s too bulky, feels terrible on the hands, and I would recommend recycling it immediately. The pop-up camera is my favorite part of the device, allowing for the convenience of facial recognition for login to Windows and for video conferencing while allowing me to not feel like I’m constantly being watched when using the device. My first thought was that you pushed a button on the keyboard to rise and lower the device but no, its operated manually with your finger by pressing down on the housing to release it. It would have been much cooler if it automatically opened and closed.

Love my Dell Inspiron 27"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love my new Dell Inspiron All-In-One Desktop. Screen is huge with very clear images. Like that the on line camera is a pop-up that you press to bring up or push down to hide. Plenty of Memory and Storage capacity plus very fast with SSD Hard Drive.

Home Run For Dell!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never owned an All-in-One before. It always seemed as though the models that were available (especially the first several generations) were so primitive, and lacking in options. But for quite a while now I have been wanting a high-quality, larger-screen-size computer that didn't take up so much space. I discovered all-in-one's have come a long way. Take the Dell Inspiron 27" TouchScreen All-In-One...this is a beast! When I started doing my research, and looked at everything that was available out there, I knew this was the one I had been looking for. When it arrived at my house, I was a bit taken back by the size of the shipping box. After all I wanted something that wasn't going to take up a whole lot of space. But as I unpacked it, I realized that Dell took extraordinary measures to ensure that the computer arrived safe and intact. I'm always impressed when I see a company take everything into consideration, even how they design the shipping containers. Kudos to Dell for this. Unpacking the All-in-One was really simple, straightforward and easy. I knew the 27" monitor was bigger than any I had used before, so that was a Wow experience. As I assembled everything together, about the only issue I encountered was figuring out how to attach the monitor stand legs. This is due in part because being so "smart," I almost never read the Quick Start Guides, or assembly instructions. No more needs to be said about that... After getting it all unpacked and set up, and put on my office table, I was pleased with the aesthetic nature of the computer. Simple, pleasant to look at, sleek. Mine is white, so it also helps to brighten up the workspace a bit. After admiring it for a bit, I decided to go ahead and get it through the software setup. The Inspiron All-in-One comes standard with Windows 11, so there is a lot of interaction with Microsoft. Beside the personalizing and setting preferences, the process is relatively painless. As a subscriber already to Office 365, there were a few more steps to get the office suite installed. I also had a few more programs I wanted to try out, so I went ahead and installed them. I've said all that to simply let you know that I intended to put the processor to the test. After getting the computer set up the way I wanted, it was time to try it out. I powered it down just to see how long it takes to boot up. From a complete shutdown, it took less than ten seconds to boot up, enter my password, and arrive at a ready home screen. Now, for a restart, it took me almost 40 seconds. I did have a coupe of programs open, so that added a bit to the time. Either way, a dead boot and a restart are both rather quick. I opened several software programs, none of which were really graphic-intensive, and there was zero slowdown or lag. None. I opened several more, including many of the included programs. Still no noticeable lag of any sort. As I mentioned earlier, I installed some of my own software...a photo/video editor, a couple of games, and an audio editor (including recorder). Even though I can't hardly think of an instance when I would have both an audio editor and a video editor open and using at the same time, I did it anyway. I also played a couple of online video games. As I went through each program, I didn't notice anything to cause any concern. The only slowdown came at the hands of my internet provider, but it was only minimal. Programs open and close quickly and without any issues. For me, this computer can handle anything and everything I can throw at it. I cannot say enough about the 27" monitor. The display is amazing. Crisp, clear, sharp. Colors are vibrant, and there is no bleeding. Sitting in front of it is almost like sitting in front of a big-screen TV. And it is so easy on the eyes. After three or four hours of sitting in front of the Inspiron, my eyes felt no strain at all, due to Dell's Comfort View Plus technology. Thanks to an HDMI output, I can, without any dongles, easily attach a second monitor. Yes, it would have been nice to have one extra HDMI output for two external monitors, but that is where the dongle comes in. I could go on and on about how much I really like this All-In-One, but the bottom line is that I think it is the absolute best all-in-one on the market. Plenty of storage, great speed, wonderful display and graphics...and a spectacular 27" monitor! It is perfect for almost any need. You can work, you can game, you can do the social media thing or go shopping. And one of the best parts about this system is that it can fit almost anywhere. The keyboard and mouse are both wireless, so you don't even have to be right at the monitor to use them. Dell has always offered some of the best computers available, and the Inspiron 27" All-In-One is no exception. If you are looking for the perfect computer, this is it. I will be recommending this one for a long time to come.

Another All-In-One Hit from DELL!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is not the first Dell Inspiron 27" Touch screen All-In-One desktop I've owned, and I am sure it won't be the last either. The form factor of these machines means that you don't have wires running all over the place, they aren't cumbersome, and with wireless mouse and keyboard, keep your desktop completely uncluttered. Now I totally get that desktop machines like this aren't for everyone, they serve a purpose. And that purpose is to offer great functionality, in a convenient form factor. If you are purchasing a machine like this, you're wanting a dependable, reliable machine that just works. This is my 3rd generation of these machines, and I enjoy the convenience and the performance they provide. This latest version ships with Windows 11, has a 27" full HD LED backlit 1920x1080 touchscreen making menu navigation incredibly easy. You can also use this screen as a second display if you want to, or a display on it's own (like a TV) with it's HDMI in/out port. This makes it a versatile proposition as well. The bezel is nice and thin, like new TVs, so it's familiar as well. There's a pop up video camera on top, that also serves as face recognition to get into the computer if you don't want to have to type in your passcode each time. Powering this machine is the 13th Generation Core i& Processor which enhances the performance of this compact PC, allowing you to do more at one time. You can enjoy streaming in 8K, it has the power to run Creative Cloud without hesitation, and can help you run your day to day programs with ease. Of course, my son was only interested in what it was like when playing video games. We fired up Asphalt 9: Legends from the Xbox Game Hub. It loaded and ran so quickly and smoothly, without any glitching or issues. The sound was great from the small speakers at the bottom of the monitor, with a decent amount of bass and a nice, wide sound field. With 16GB of RAM, you have plenty of power for graphics-heavy gaming, for video editing - I have a youtube channel that I am constantly editing videos for, and also helps maintain multiple programs and web browser tabs to be open at one time. However, being an all in one unit, upgrading may be a challenge down the line. That is a sacrifice you make when choosing a computer like this. It ships with a 1TB solid state drive, which I have found for my use, and the frequency that I update my machines, to be absolutely fine for what I need and use it for. I store my videos on external back up drives anyways, but this is absolutely fine for my video editing purposes. Being an SSD, there are no moving parts, meaning you get faster access to your data with fast start up time, no noise at all, and less heat produced as well. There's a USB-C port on the right side, that you can plug in and charge your phone conveniently, without having to reach round the back of the computer. However, if the back of the computer is exposed, if you have an open desk, it's form factors is nicely sculpted on the back, so that it looks nice as you walk up to it from all angles. There is also a 5 in 1 card reader in the back that supports SD and MMC memory cards. The NVIDIA GeForce MX550 Graphics card has 2GB of dedicated memory on board to help facilitate quick rendering for video games and graphics, meaning you get a smooth gaming experience with no flickering or frame drop. This PC also features flexible dual-band wifi thanks to the Intel WiFi 6E Wireless AX with two data streams and two antennas. This means that you can connect to your wifi router and experience fast streaming and greater connectivity. I have a GigaPower network and have no issues with download and upload speeds. The one thing that I have to ding, is no matter how advanced the all-in-one PCs become from Dell, with nicer and nicer form factors, greater functionality, more features and better processing power, they always, without fail (as I've mentioned this is my 3rd one of these) come with what look to be the cheapest and most rudimentary mouse and keyboard on the market! They have no style, simply look cheap, and don't match the style and form of the all-in-one PC itself. And being as they spend as much time on the desktop as the PC itself, you would have though some more design would have gone into them. It's almost like they are an afterthought, and had to be hastily added to complete the combo. And it's not just this one, but each of the machines I've had before have had an almost identical set up, keyboard and mouse wise. They are both functional, the work as you would expect a wireless mouse and keyboard to work after inserting the dongle in the back, but they are just lacking the same design and quality feel of them main PC. Other than that, this is a great all-in-one machine that is perfect for what I need to use it for, powerful, fast, sleek and unobtrusive. Another home run from Dell (apart from the keyboard and mouse that is)!

All In One great design and performance

It comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse that complement the aesthetic design that makes any workplace or desktop place clean and enjoyable. This desktop delivers an exceptional computing experience for the casual gamer and content creator. The 27-inch touchscreen display is nothing short of amazing. The visuals are crystal clear, and the vibrant colors bring everything to life. Whether working on spreadsheets, watching movies, editing photos, or a little cloud gaming, the display offers an immersive and enjoyable viewing experience. The touchscreen is very responsive and there is no flicker or lag of the input. An additional and standout features is the ComfortView Plus bluelight technology. As someone who spends long hours in front of the screen, this feature has made a noticeable difference in reducing eye strain. The bluelight reduction helps protect my eyes and enables me to work comfortably for extended periods and even into the late hours of the night. The inclusion of a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB memory ensures smooth multitasking and seamless performance. I've been able to run video and photo editing programs with fast and smooth rendering of my projects while having other applications running drawing from the available memory. I can switch between tasks effortlessly, and experience snappy responsiveness throughout. From demanding software to casual gaming, this desktop handles it all with ease. The 1TB SSD provides ample storage space for all my project files with room for a couple mid-level games, and its speedy performance allows for quick boot times and rapid data transfers. Accessing my documents, photos, and videos is a breeze, saving me valuable time and enhancing productivity. The addition of the NVIDIA MTX550 graphics card is a game-changer, quite literally. Whether I'm indulging in immersive gaming sessions or working on graphic-intensive projects, the graphics card delivers impressive performance for an ALL-IN-ONE desktop. Granted, it is basically an entry level video card designed for laptops or small pc’s, but the visuals are sharp, detailed, and smooth, providing an enjoyable experience. Beyond the impressive specifications, the Dell Inspiron All-In-One Desktop boasts a stylish TV-inspired design. The thin bezels surrounding the display create an expansive viewing area, and the adjustable stand allows for comfortable positioning and optimal viewing angles great for streaming my favorite movies or shows. The desktop's overall build quality feels solid and durable. Overall, the Dell Inspiron 27" Touchscreen All-In-One Desktop is a remarkable machine that combines impressive features, stylish design, and exceptional performance. If you're looking for a versatile and visually stunning desktop, the Dell Inspiron All-In-One is an excellent choice.

Really powerful for an all-in-one
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is, without a doubt, one of the more powerful all-in-one computers I've used. I wouldn't dream of even trying to game or render things on most all-in-ones, but this is a pretty capable machine. The i7 has enough power that I have yet to see it lag with anything, the combination of the Iris Xe and the Nvidia MX550 graphics have been very helpful in letting the machine actually do some light rendering without crashing, the 1TB SSD is large enough to be comfortable, and the 16GB of RAM is nice for working with very large files. I can even multitask between doing artwork and taking turns on some RTS games like Civilization VI. Overall, this is pretty much exactly all I could want out of an all-in-one, except maybe it would be nice to have a 4K screen. There's a lot of other things that are nice to have as well. The camera array is retractable, and also works with face unlock. Having an HDMI input port is great, because then I don't have to drag out an extra monitor to have a look at what's going on on my little web server that sits nearby. The speakers are much more powerful than I expected them to be, so it's weirdly good for listening to music or even watching movies. The included wireless keyboard and mouse have decent build quality and don't have that issue where they constantly lose connection if you're not sitting at perfectly the right distance and angle. While the computer does have Wi-Fi 6E and is very fast over this connection, it also does have an ethernet port. The IO array is pretty normal, but better than laptops. I greatly appreciate the USB-C port on the side, since fumbling about behind the machine trying to plug something in is one of the things I hate most about all-in-ones. As far as downsides go, I can't really think of any. This is just a genuinely good system. This feels like the perfect machine to use for things like office tasks or artwork. It doesn't feel like the machine itself was based on a compromise, the way a lot of all-in-ones do. It perfectly fits the niche I'd like an all-in-one to fill. If your use case is office work such as Microsoft Word or Excel or you just want a machine to watch videos and browse the web on, this is definitely overkill - but if you're looking for a compact machine with a large screen to perform intensive workloads like programming or digital art that nevertheless don't quite need the full power of something like an RTX 3050, I'd highly recommend taking a look at this machine.

Fast and Convenient
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Dell - Inspiron 27" Touch screen All-In-One - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce MX550 - 1TB SSD - White is a great all-in-one computer that is easy to setup, takes up very little space, and consists of quality and up-to-date components. The components include a 13th generation CPU, a Geforce MX550 dedicated GPU, a fast 1TB SSD, 16 GBs of memory, a fast Wifi 6 card (almost twice as fast as my previous one), a webcam, and a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The computer also has a quality IPS, full HD monitor capable of being tilted. The monitor can be used as a second monitor for another device. Setup took no more than 5 minutes. Remove the components from the box, install the legs on the monitor, place the batteries in the mouse and keyboard, place the usb transmitter card in the back of the monitor, and plug in and turn on the monitor. As the computer boots up. the keyboard and mouse will be recognized and you will be allowed to install and update the operating system. In operation, the computer was very fast and (as I mentioned) Wifi was very quick and reliable. The keyboard and mouse were responsive and the monitor was bright and clear with reliable touch operation. I recommend this computer to someone looking for a convenient and space saving All-In-One computer with excellent performance and should last for several years.

A Good Work/Home PC
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Dell Inspiron All-in-One Desktop 7720 is a solid choice for a work/home PC. It's an All-in-One so that means you won't have a tower desktop, all your major components are built into the monitor. It comes with the Dell Pro KM5221W wireless keyboard and mouse combo. The desktop has a minimalist aesthetic with the soft powder white color and the sleek design. It looks gorgeous and feels nice. My biggest issue with the accessories are that they use batteries and aren't rechargeable. Dell was nice enough to include some batteries, but as nice as this desktop and accessories are its so weird to have them need batteries. The screen is a 27" FHD (1920x1080) 60hz with an InfinityEdge Touchscreen. Its a good picture size and quality and the touch screen responds perfectly to every swipe and tap. Built into the monitor is a front facing camera that has 1080p video resolution and 0.92 megapixel picture resolution, that's about 720p image quality. The camera is internal so all you have to do is click it in and it pops up, click it down and stays in. My biggest issue with the monitor is that it isn't 120hz, with an FHD resolution having it locked at 60hz feels like it's under powered. Now lets talk about whats under the hood. The processor is a 13th Gen i7 which is an excellent processor, it runs at 3.7Ghz in efficiency mode and 5.0Ghz at max/turbo mode. It has 16Gb of RAM (2 x 8Gb) which is great for multitasking. The GPU is an Nvidia GeForce MX550, which is an entry level graphics card, it's comparable to a 1050ti. It will be able to perfectly handle any office programs, web surfing, and video watching. However, if you decide to use it for gaming it will be need to done on lower graphics settings, this desktop isn't exactly designed for serious hardcore gaming. It's storage space is 1Tb SSD which is perfect for just about anything you'll use it for. Overall, the Dell Inspiron 7720 is a great all-in-one desktop for work or for home. Its good looking and professional.

Great family PC, but plan location carefully
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TL;DR Version: This is a perfect PC for a family to share for general web browsing, light gaming and of course streaming & video conferencing. But Dell's unique stand design makes this an ergonomic and placement challenge because of the two leg design and limited vertical height/tilt adjustment. I have been using this PC for about a week and in a four-person household. Since this is an all-in-one design, it's perfectly suited as the shared, family PC. The 13th gen Intel i7 processor provides more than enough power to satisfy the typical modern family PC uses - web browsing, video streaming, office/school work and video conferencing. And this model has an upgraded video graphics processor, so it's also capable of doing light/moderate PC gaming. The included/built in webcam and sound bar are capable for your video conferencing needs, but don't expect this to be a home theater quality sound. The speakers provide good sound response but the bass response is obviously limited by the size. The included wireless keyboard and mouse are "okay" - they do what they need to, especially considering the expected use cases. The biggest issue I have with this is the design of the stand. Because of the two-leg design of the included stand, placing this on the corner of a desk or anyplace that is not wide enough to accommodate the full width of the unit becomes impossible. The built-in stand also offers very limited tilt adjustment and zero height adjustment, so make sure whatever desk/surface you place this on, you're ok with the ergonomics as-is. I would have much preferred a normal pedestal-style stand, or at least provide a VESA mount capability.

First time trying a DELL ALL IN ONE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My last ALL IN ONE was a HP and I was satisfied I believe I had that computer for 8 years till the drive got full and all features was easily access. I thought to buy another HP but I thought to give another brand a try. On first use I suspect you will see some unexpected updates that the computer will ask you to follow and as for the MCAFEE I think I had 1 week before it expired so I decided to reinstall my old antivirus from my old computer since that software still had 1 more year till expired, in closing one issue I have with this DELL computer and although everyone's feature use of this model computer will be different, the access for the micro sd on back of this computer is a hassle, having to reach to the back to install and remove, on the HP sd access is under the screen for easy access. DELL needs to put the sd card access in a accessible location on the monitor.

Nice computer.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the computer, easy to set up and all. I bought an "open box" unit for some less than new cost. There was a small chip in the screen, which I wasn't too worried about, but the touchscreen started freaking out the other day and trying to start applications over by the chip. I was finally able to get it slowed enough to shut off the touchscreen function, which to me was just to see if I liked that option or not. I suppose I got what I paid for, the computer is great, just that screen issue.
