Good laptop for the price

To help with a battery performance issue, we recommend changing the Power Plan:
1. On the notification area of the taskbar, right-click the Battery icon.
2. On the options list, click Power Options.
3. Select a power plan on the battery meter, such as Power Saver or Balanced. Windows 10 has a built-in 'Battery Saver' mode that can be activated to extend your system's battery life. The Battery Saver mode will monitor and limit background activity and other features such as push notifications. You do have the option to enable or disable this mode within settings or within advanced Battery Saver settings, you can customize the mode to best suit your needs.
a) Click on the Action Center icon in the taskbar and select the tile for Battery Saver.
b) If running Cortana then type Battery Saver into the search box and select from the results.
Within the Battery Saver settings page, you will be able to turn on and off the feature and customize the feature to best meet your needs.
c) Turn the Battery Saver On or Off.
d) Additional settings are available via the Battery use and Battery saver settings links.

Battery dies very fast

That's why I had to get rid of my last computer, so I basically exchanged the old one for a new one with the same problem. It would work okay for a home computer, but that's about it. I would recommend buying something else if you need to be away from an outlet for periods of time.

Poor battery life.

So aggravating and a shame I'm already looking around for another. I charge it in the morning only to find it almost depleted when I go to use it in the afternoon.

Terrible first experience with best buy

Simply worthless product and i haven't used it until i received. Customer support was neither supportive or listening my issues.Will never go with best buy again.

defective laptops

Thou Shall Not Pass Setup Experience

This time, we were not so lucky. I couldn't get past the setup screen because the third step required an Internet connection. Various wifi networks available, including mine, were shown, but when I pressed the button for my network, nothing happened. I tried shutting off the machine and powering down, disconnecting/restarting our combo modem- router to no avail. There was no wireless button on the model, and no wireless icon showed on the lower screen. Because the setup screen prevented me from going further to say, the main screen and search box, I couldn't get further via typing in control panel, etc. to check on Internet connections, etc. so I could potentially download a driver. I gave up and returned it. I don't have the time to frog around, so I'll likely get another Lenovo or and Asus or MS machine. I never had an issue this bad setting up any computer. Their UI team needs to fix the setup experience, period.
