Great deal for a laptop of corei5. touch and function great.

Love this computer. Starts up quickly, holds the battery charge for a long time, and set-up was a breeze.

The Best Buy part of the transaction was fine ... I looked up the computer, walked in, bought it. As for the computer itself .... If you love yourself, do NOT buy this machine. I had HP machines for years but would have trouble with motherboards dying on me for some reason. My work pal recommended a Dell (because I can't afford a Mac) so I tried it... I have had this machine for just over 6 weeks. Within the first two days, the touchpad stopped working. I'm nowhere near a tech guru, but I know how to look things up online, so I did so and it fixed. Within a week, it was dead again so I actually contacted Dell (I had had the machine NINE DAYS) and they remotely took over the machine and did some stuff and fixed it. When I asked what to do if it happens again, I was told "you just would need to reload the OS." Nice. That did fix it ... for about 10 days. To this point, as I write this, the touchpad has ceased to function 67 times. I have done every fix found online (yes, it has the drivers it needs, etc.) and it works for a while and then stops. I Try the same fix more than once and it only seems to work once. This morning it died again but I tried something new and fixed it ... this happens at least weekly and sometimes daily. For the last 10 days, the touch screen hasn't worked either. That doesn't bother me because I'm not really a touch screen guy, but it's a simple fact. Sorry for the rant but I like to be thorough. If this was some issue that happened once or twice I would be cool with it but, seriously, 67 times .. says so right on the computer....)

Less than 90 days and has system failure is used twice a week for 1 class each day and the occasional assignment. I bought all the security and extras recommended by best buy employees
