    I bought this for my sister to take a summer class and get ready for college in the fall. It didn't even last the summer. The hinge on the laptop is so stiff that the corners of the screen gave out from simply opening the laptop, causing it to no longer support itself. She never even used it in tablet mode (due to the reviews that said this could cause this exact issue). Some of the reviews complained about the same issue, but I had always had good luck with Dell, so I decided to chance it. I've always used Dell's and so does my office. Never had a single issue, they always last forever. Boy was I wrong on this one. Worst $800 I ever spent.

    Same weight like my 7 years old Acer but 2" bigger screen. Very fast file and program access due to fast CPU and SSD. Fast WiFi access: up to 400 Mbs with Spectrum.

    Great overall. However, there were some issues with the tablet/touch screen feature. There were times we had difficulty getting it out of "tablet mode" when we needed to get back to the "keyboard" mode. This took place for about a week but appears to be rectified now.
