We appreciate your review. I am sorry to hear that your touchscreen is too sensitive. I can understand how frustrating this can be. Below are the steps required to calibrate your Touchscreen:
1. Restart the Computer and the Monitor
2. Go to Control Panel and select Tablet PC Settings.
3. Under Display tab, select Calibrate.
4. Choose Pen or Touch input.
5. Perform the point calibration that appears on the screen to correct the linearity problems.
6. Save the calibrated data.

Disappointed

Anything but a Dell

The laptop lasted most of 2 hours before overheating and shutting down. Laptop would not turn on. Took it back to BestBuy and of course they had no more available. The only comparable replacement (for $74 more) was a Lenovo. Dell looked better but at least the Lenovo boots up.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry about the trouble you have encountered with your overheating laptop abruptly shutting down and no longer turning on. We understand how frustrating that can be and would love to help right away. We have provided steps below that can assist with your startup issues if needed in the future.
1. If the computer is displaying the Dell logo and does not move past that point, it has probably failed POST.
2. If the power indicator lights up and it is amber or orange, this is usually an indicator that it has failed POST.
3. If you see text on a black screen, the computer is currently performing the POST. If the computer stays in that condition and does not move past it, it has probably failed POST.
4. If the video screen displayed anything at all during the startup process but is now black, this probably indicates that the computer failed POST.
5. If the computer is beeping or if Caps/Num/Scroll Locks are flashing, note if there is a particular pattern in which it beeps or flashes.
6. If the computer is not beeping and caps/num/scroll locks are not flashing, unplug all connections and remove all media communication devices (e.g. external monitors); reconnect one at a time and check if the computer functions.
7. For a notebook, press and hold the Fn key and then press the power button. This starts the pre-boot testing and will launch ePSA. In case you have a Desktop at the Dell logo screen tap the F12 key to enter One Time Boot Menu and use the arrow keys to highlight Diagnostics and press enter.

Horrible computer - Do not buy!

It will not do updates without “hanging up”, and it sometimes will not turn on. I’ve had several issues with it. I took it to Geek squad and it still is not working correctly. I’ve only had it for a little over a month. I’m taking it back and hoping Best Buy will refund my money, so I can get another computer.

Not for offline use

It requires an internet connection to use at all. They also want your fingerprint to log on. There are wifi connection issues with it as well. Lots of built in pop up ads for software as well.

Highly Recommend Against Buying This

Constantly glitches and will randomly freeze. Also, the keyboard will be on but the actual computer screen doesn’t do anything. Should have just gotten another Mac. Highly advise against buying this.

Very Unhappy

Unfortunately, I waited too long to return, as I was trying to get use to what I would call a flimsy keyboard. Would not recommend this unit.

Unable to use it. Will not turn on.

1. Browse to the Dell Drivers & downloads page: https://www.dell.com/support/home
2. Enter your system Service Tag, Serial Number, Model or keyword
3. Select the Operating System
4. Under Category, select BIOS
5. Locate the latest System BIOS(Version 1.3.1 or newer)
6. Click Download and save the file to your computer
7. Open File Explorer and browse to the location where the downloaded file is saved
8. Double-click the BIOS setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process
9. Your system will restart during the update.

Not happy

amazing laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this laptop as a birthday present and am thoroughly pleased with it. the Ryzen five can handle any standard work load I throw at it with ease, and easily plays light pc games like league of legends. the ram and storage are lighting fast. the touch screen and touch pad are accurate and responsive with no dead spots. the screen looks excellent and the speakers sound clear and crisp, perfect for binging some Netflix. the screen gets plenty bright for any indoor environment, but it may be a bit dim for someone who plans to use this laptop outside a lot. the batter life on better performance can easily get you through a standard work day under a normal load. however if you are running any heavy programs that take a lot of power you will want to stay close to a power outlet. the key board has excellent travel and the key have a satisficing click to them. when attaching my headphones to this laptop via Bluetooth the pairing was quick and I didn't see any noticeable latency. the hinge is sturdy and even props up the key board at a slight angle making typing even more comfortable. overall after setup the laptop was excellent. if you buy this laptop a few tips- 1. with the pre installed MacAfee security software the windows updates in set up take for ever so be prepared to wait a while. 2. plugin in you laptop really speeds up the time it takes to update and set up. 3. don't be worried by how long the setup takes, it is no indication of how your laptop will preform. 4. the pre installed max-pro audio dose this weird thing where when the base kicks in a sound it goes quite and i would recommend turning it off. all in all this is an amazing laptop and I one hundred percent recommend it.
