    Had to return after 6 weeks, because it went silent and wouldn't power up. Though after Christmas return date, I was able to return it, and replace it with another style Laptop.

    I used it three times in a month and it would not turn on so I had to return it. I don’t know what was wrong with this product I did however buy it as a open box and I was really sad about it had it less than a month and it didn’t turn on one other time and I was able to get it work with the charge but this last week it just wouldn’t turn on even with the charger. This product has been discontinued I believe.

    The backlit keyboard is beyond horrible.. you have to prop it up to certain angles just to see the letters. Very disappointing!

    If my life depended on this, my world would end. The computer died as of day 27. It had issues on-and-off leading up to its death. I didn't know it wasn't 30 return so I called Dell who said it will take 20-30 days for them to replace it or 4 days for someone to come to my house to fix it. I'm a mess re this entire episode! But I will just wait patiently because I don't want to lose the money. Lesson: check the exact return date when making a purchase rather than assume it is the regular/typical 30 days.

    1 yr 8 mos and 1 day and its DEAD! I didn't want to believe all the other reviews, but We rarely used it and treated the computer like a baby. Our laptop is in pristine condition and have been abused $1K down the drain. It wasn't bad while it worked. Although customer service bragged about the track pad and it wasn't all that great. Not nearly as precise as a Latitude. So upset with Dell

    Poor Geek Squad service ---

    Can't review -- each time I take it in for Geek Squad to change over from my old laptop, they have another excuse why it will take so long to do it --- 2 nights ago they advised another 5-7 days to do it --- at Christmas season, it was only 1-3 days ---- I will try to do it myself --- This is the second one it has happened with --- last one at a different store ---- you can be assured I am not buying anything else from Best Buy, nor will I recommend it to corporate connections.....

    After reading many reviews I saw one that stood out about the screen going black after a short period of use but after all I only saw one of those and decided to buy it anyway. Well after using it only 1 day for online classes the screen went black and nothing would work. Was very disappointment, Dell has been around forever and to run into this issue is just sad. Thank goodness I was still in my return period and best buy gave me zero issues. Terrible product would not recommend!

    I was so upset. I spent quite a bit of money buying this and the day it comes it just starts blacking out..i thought ill just wait til the next day and try to deal with it..next morning the same think kept happening...at that point i was done. I started researching and a ton of people were saying that there is a huge problelm with the dell laptops just shutting off and turning black..i went to best buy and purchased a lenovo and so far it has worked wonderfully

    This is the worst laptop I've ever owned. I've been purchasing Dell laptops for many years but this was my first from Best Buy. It freezes, loses the mouse and runs slowly and it's not even 2 years old. Going to shelve it and order replacement from Dell. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Dell laptops typically last me no less than 4 years.

    I have had PCs since the mid 80s, beginning with the original PC and AT. I have never had such a piece of JUNK as this. Don't even think of relying on the cursor to actually move when you touch the touch pad. No, with this one it just sits there until it wants to move. I had never purchased a Dell before, and I will never do it again. What a waste of money and time.

    Had to replace motherboard in 2 months

    After 2 months of owning this computer, a technician is coming to my house to replace the motherboard. Now, I don’t know if the laptop I bought was faulty already. But having to replace the motherboard on a brand new computer, that I’ve only used 10 times (I only use it for one college computer class), is wild to me. Would not recommend it.

    Won't power on even after two service calls.

    The laptop won't power on, the issue began a couple days after purchase. Went through Dell warranty, they came out and reset the BIOS. Worked for a couple days then the same issue. Another service, they replaced the motherboard. Worked for a week or so and back to the same issue. Dell support is very bad, stay away from their products.

    Worst laptop ever bought, and worst from Dell. Got very hot during installation of software. The design is a joke. If use it as a regular laptop, the hinge will pop up from the bottom when the lid is opened. If converting into a tablet, it's hard to not touch the keyboard during the process. Build quality is worse than a laptop I had years ago from Dell.

    No power, dead after 2 months.

    I would say zero stars but it wont let me. Ive had this for 2 months, completely died - no power, no nothing. Tech replaced the board yesterday and it was fine, tried to use it today - Dead, again. I use it for household things only, no graphics, games, etc.
