    Dell Really?

I've had bad experiences with Dell in previous pcs over the years. Haven't bought on in 10 or so years. At work I have a Dell Workstation that I was leary of. After a few months of using it, and seeing this on sale over Black Friday weekend I thought of giving them another chance. I am very pleased having this product for the past 2 weeks. Excellent price for the value. I also own a Cyberpower pc with a Asus Rog 480 8gb OC. I can see the difference the noticeable difference in performance versus my current set up. Goes well with my free sync 144mhz monitor with Display Port. Love it, and the audio sounds great being an audio guy, and love the Bluetooth. It's a nice upgrade for me. I would suggest this pc to a friend or relatives for sure. I will be looking to upgrading this with a 256g sad, later on.

I’ve had the opportunity to spend about a week with this computer. First off, I uninstalled the McAffee virus software which was bogging down this great computer. Once that was done and new virus protection was installed, performance was greatly improved. I started by just doing some basic computing, internet surfing, Office, excel, and photo editing. The system was fast, crisp, and easily performed these tasks with no issues at all. Then came time to play. This is the first gaming specific tower I’ve ever owned, and it did not disappoint. The AMD processor was easily up to the task, graphics were crazy good, which made the gaming experience so much fun. This system was paired with an up graded gaming keyboard and mouse which is so much better than the original keyboard and mouse that were included with the tower. This is the first thing you should do, dump the included keyboard and mouse. The experience is just light years ahead with a gaming keyboard and mouse. Dell did it right with this system, the AMD processor along with 16. GB of memory gives you all the computing power you will need for anything that is currently out there. I would highly recommend this for any looking for an affordable gaming solution that will perform. I’m giving this my highest recommendation.

This is a pretty good gaming PC for off the shelf. It DOES NOT have a SSD drive in it, its a standard mechanical hard drive. It does have the new AMD Ryzen processor line in it, and 16gb of system memory. And a AMD RX580 video card 8gb which is Freesynch capable if you want to pair it with a Freesynch capable monitor for silky smooth gameplay. The Ryzen processor is also very good at running multi programs at the same time, which really isn't a necessity for most gamers, but nice to have when adulting. The keyboard and mouse that come with the unit are very basic Dell, and you probably won't be using them anyway. :) I played various games with screen and video card Freesynch at 240hz, it worked very well, very smooth gameplay. Elder Scrolls Online played very well, as did Doom, Wolfenstein the Old Blood, Lego World, Fallout 4, and Skyrim Special Edition. Yes, I do like me some Bethesda, I do admit. This PC does have a small USB-C (the one newer android phones and other non apple devices are starting to use) port on the front for charging/connecting to the Desktop. The DVD drive on the computer is like a fragile laptop DVD drive and took me a bit to get use to. But I don't use DVD drives much anymore, so its not a big minus.

    Great deal for these specs

I had upgraded a 10 year old HP desktop about as far as I could but lately I was beginning to dabble in video editing and realized its limitations. I planned to replace it by building my own PC (never done it before) and began reading recommendations and watching YouTube videos. I priced out a build on pcpartpicker.com, posted it on a techie website and received positive feedback on my choices. Estimated cost was $1,200. Browsing in Best Buy a little over a month ago I looked at the specs on this machine. The Ryzen 7 is better than my planned Ryzen 5 and the graphics card is better than the one I had selected. Those 2 parts along probably run over $650 if bought separately. I am no expert but I thought there were some things I could pick at (single stick of RAM, no dust filters on the case). But the price looked great at $1,049. I went home to mull it over, checked online the next day and saw the priced reduced to $899. I went and got it. I added a Samsung NVME 250 GB drive at a cost of about $120 for OS and programs (I have gotten used to the SSD I added to my old computer). Be aware if you add NVME, the motherboard has a location and standoff for it but is lacking a tiny screw needed to secure the drive. (I found one I could use in an old laptop). So far I am thrilled with the performance. It is quiet and blows away my old box in terms of speed which is truly notable in video rendering. If I have one complaint, it seems that the built in WiFi is not as good as I would like. The location of my computer is not ideal in my setup but I expected better based upon how other devices perform. I am not a gamer. For basic business applications (web, Excel, Word, etc) and light photo and video editing though I think this is a great rig for the price. If you get it on sale, even better. While I did not get the satisfaction of building my own PC I am thoroughly happy to have avoided my inevitable mistakes and headaches to get a great bargain.

    Great Gaming PC for Beginner

If you want to have good pc gaming experience, but you only can afford under $900? I think this Dell PC is away to go. I purchased to play PUBG, and also some of my work at home. This PC is a deal breaker, especially when it's on sale. If SSD is your concern, you can easily install SSD hard drive.

Could not have built this machine for what I paid. Good graphics, fast processor and even with 16 gb of ddr4 memory, I've got another slot for more. Don't care about cheap keyboard and mouse, they're adequate. I do wonder why the "free" software added - an antivirus I immediately dumped and a high end game, which I've jumped many hurdles to even get a promise from AMD that they'll get me a code soon (coming up on 2 weeks!), wasn't the other way around. The Quake Champions game should have been preloaded and the other should have been something you had to ask for.

It is a smooth running PC for the price

I got this PC 3 days ago now. They had a 150.00 discount on it and I bought it as a open box with made the price even lower. For the price that I got this PC for, I wouldn't be able to build anything better. The PC runs great! I have already cloned the OS and transferred all data to a SSD so the PC turns on and runs everything very quickly. I would recommend this be done once you get the PC if you already have an SSD laying around. I will later upgrade the Ram to 32 as I do a lot of video editing but even with the 16gb of ram it runs everything really well. Some games it still cannot run on all maxed settings for example Rise of The Tomb Raider but it does run it very well on High settings still. I am running everything on a 4k monitor though. If you have a 1080p monitor it will run every game very easily. For the money I paid and if you can get it on a sale it is certainly worth every penny. First time I buy a PC and not build one but I am pleasantly satisfied with this PC.

Great Gaming PC for the Price

I purchased my Dell Inspiriin 5675 open box from Dayton Mall Best Buy. I was really there just to windows shop to upgrade my PC and ensure I was oculus rift ready in doing so. I was glad I purchased this PC, this included all my essential requirement and the upgradable factor was awesome. Foremost this has a great graphics card that is VR capable, has an HDMI, and three additional distort port. It included multiple SDD slots, without an actual SDD, ensuring I could upgrade cheaply without paying retail for an already included SSD. I also upgraded the 1TB hard drive adding an 8TB hard drive. Essentially for the with the money I saved, I turned my $700 into a high end $2000-$3000 gaming PC for under $1000. This was so easy to upgrade and find the right parts. I love the amount of USB parts given all my printers, microphone, speakers, scanners, etc. I like this still had the DVD writer, as some gaming PCs are stepping away from optical drives. It was a little bulky and I had to remove a wood piece to fit in my desk, but I was able to make it work.

    Capable Machine

I purchased this exact desktop back in May of this year, but about two or three weeks later I had a slight power surge and it damaged the machine. I took it back to have it checked out,but instead had it replaced because it was still under warranty. So far I haven't had any issues with the replacement. This machine may not be the top line gaming computer, but it is a good choice for a beginner like me that's just getting into computer gaming. And if your not into computer gaming,it does have very capable hardware for other things like video editing, etc. I would recommend this computer because it does looks great and performs very well. Thank you Best Buy!

I was looking at building my own computer again when I ran across this beauty. After looking at the specs, I realized that I would be hard pressed to build anything matching for the price. The only thing that has not met my needs has been the DVD burner. That was easily remedied by inserting an inexpensive 24x burner. Everything has run smoothly after updating all the drivers. For the price, I wouldn't recommend any other desktop computer.

    Great hardware but terrible cooling

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have the Ryzen 1700 16gb with the RX580. Open boxs at best buy are the way to save(750). A massive down side of mine with the 1700 is they used the same cooler as the one for the 1400. Idle temps of 60c and under any load its thermal throttling at 95c is not what I was expecting. Also no heatsinks on the VRMs. If they had used the OEM AMD wraith cooler instead of thier own lesser cooler alot of this would been reduced. For a open air case I expect better, but when I saw Dell sells a water cooling add on the bad thermals made alot of sense. I think alot of this would only apply to the Ryzen 7 version. If you do get it day one you need to think about buying better cooling for the cpu. Same goes with the video card it was idling at 60c and a quick tweek to the fan curve got it down to 44c. NVME M.2 slot was a welcome surprise. If you got the version with only a spinning hdd then get a SSD asap, it will bring the hardware alive. Its odd the motherboard is great and terrible all at the same time. You have no additional internal usb ports(needed for some aio coolers your going to want for the mega hot cpu) no extra fan headers(only 1 fan in case fyi). But they do give you a m.2 NVME AND a m.2 Sata port. Lots of normal sata ports. Tons of usbs on the rear io
