Good desktop for the price. Works great for office

Our old computer gave out after a decade, so after a lot of research we decided on this one. Windows 10 takes some getting used to and it's a little slow sometimes, but otherwise it's a good computer.

Replaced a 2007 Dell Dimension Vista machine as its time had come and too many support issues started to pop up. I was looking for a good home PC for pict storage and editing, iTunes, Quicken, TurboTax, email and web browsing primarily. I also have a 9 and 12 yr old and wanted the ability for them to do basic gaming and Steam. This fits all of My needs and got a great price with a sale and open box discount. Allows for great flexibility for device attachment and future expand ability. Running 2 monitors and added a 2nd internal hard drive I pulled from my old PC.

After hooking up my brand new Dell computer, I made it past a few screens in the set up process (language, time zone, etc) before the machine locked up. While I was typing a user name for the computer, the monitor flashed (a bit like a strobe light) and the keyboard was totally unresponsive. I powered down and then back up. At that point, I was prompted to enter username and PW. Of course, I didn't make it that far through the set up process before the machine froze up so I didn't have one. I was not able to simply click without entering a PW. Next, I spent 40 minutes on the phone with a Geek Squad rep who then passed me directly to Microsoft. After 20 more minutes with Microsoft and no progress, I decided to take the unit back. I stopped by the in-store Geek Squad desk and explained what happened. They said the freezing up should not have occurred and said it must be a hardware issue. They recommended I swap it out for a new one. I did so and tried again. At the exact same spot, the SECOND computer did the same thing. After powering down and then restarting, I was once again locked out. Geek squad phone support suggested I try again with a third machine. As much fun as it is to waste an entire Saturday fiddling with a computer that won't even let you set it up, I decided to pass on the hassle of buying, setting up, and then returning a third Dell computer. At this point, I'm not sure what I will buy but I am CERTAIN of what I WON'T buy.

I purchased this PC with the intent of driving two monitors. It has a standard VGA and HDMI outputs. This is not adequate to drive the two 24" monitors I have, as they require DVI or DisplayPort connectors. I expected to have to upgrade the video card. Any decent video card requires a power connector. I was shocked to discover that this computer did not have a single power connector for a video card, nor even one that could be used with an adapter. I've tried using HDMI to DP cables and various adapters but cannot get anything to work. Coupled with the fact that it only has two RAM memory slots, and it's virtually useless to me. My fault for not checking more thoroughly, but I thought I'd pass it along so someone else doesn't buy an overpriced boat anchor.

They mailed me the wrong one but they eventually sent the right one.Had to return wrong one to nearby Best Buy. Overall the computer is working GREAT!

The PC is faster and included Win10. The pc worked great right out of the box and I had no problems with it. It was worth the upgrade from what I had.

This computer has been nothing but problems since I bought it in November! It freezes, Screen goes black, programs flash and icons on tool bar at the bottom flash. Windows 10 is a complete nightmare! I spent 4 hrs with HP trying to get printer to work again after windows update made printer stop working. That is only some of the problems. Computer STILL nothing but problems! Right now I want to throw out the window of a moving truck going 60 mph on the highway!

Bought 2 of these at the end of December for my business. One worked fine and have not had any issues (yet). The other one did the same strobe flashing thing as other reviewers have posted. It gave me nothing but grief for two weeks, Half hour reboots, (if at all) network issues like crazy, (wifi and cat6 hookup). Finally returned it to Best Buy and they gave me a new one with no hassle. Unfortunately the replacement had the exact same issues. I moved it to another department with all new monitors keyboard etc, thinking it must be a peripheral hardware or user issue but same issues. I've bought dozens of Dell computers and workstations and this is the first time I've seen such a poor product on the market. If you like to gamble and have a lot of time on your hands to run back and forth to Best Buy go ahead and buy it. I'll be giving HP a try, sorry Dell.

We bought this Dell/Windows 10 computer around the middle of August. I was gone for three weeks and when I came home, the start button wouldn't work, the icons in the bottom task bar will not respond to the right click of the mouse and Microsoft Edge is nowhere to be found. I have tried everything I can think of to find the fix but so far, I have found nothing that will repair it. I'm extremely disappointed in Dell and Microsoft 10.

During setup the screen did this crazy strobe light effect for 10 minutes. I had to return it and get a replacement. The replacement computer did the same thing!!! Returning it for a Lenovo tower today.

Purchased this computer and started set up according to their instructions. It stalled and screen went fuzzy. Went back and tried again--same thing. Dell- Support tried for 2 1/2 hrs. to fix problem. Could only finish set up by skipping over some things. Then tried to back-up/make recovery copy--unsuccessful--tried twice. Obviously this one has problems--either corrupted--or hard drive just not a good one. Am returning it to store.

We have had an excellent experience with this computer. A+
