I have been using windows xp forever and was forced into a new computer and couldn't be happier with this choice. Easy Easy, very glad I purchased this one. Being a senior I am always skeptical of change but wish I would've done it sooner.

Computer was easy to set up and "get going." After purchase I was able to easily expand with a second hard drive and a second CD-Rom drive. So far, it is doing everything i was looking for.

I purchased this computer to use at home and it has been working nicely. I once had issues with the sound but I think it is a windows 10 problem, purchased an external speaker and it's been working nicely.

I needed a computer that had more oomph than my current laptop, and I was also hoping not to empty my bank account picking up a computer that was good for more than just checking your email and hitting Facebook to check on your news feed (usually cheap desktops are very much a case of you get what you paid for, and halfway decent machines can easily drain your wallet especially if you are kind of tight on funds), so you can imagine my delight when I saw an i7 desktop on sale during Black Friday weekend. The price was certainly right, so I looked at the specs and went ahead and picked up the last one at my local Best Buy. I have barely had it for a day, and to say I am impressed considering what I paid for the computer, is quite the understatement. To get this out of the way, some of the negatives for some folks who are considering this machine if it goes on sale again before the end of the year, yes, it is not a "gaming machine," and no...it does not have its own graphics card. It also sounds like you cannot add a real high end graphics card in the allotted slots on the back of the case. You will top out your memory if you add another 8 gb, there is no blu ray player, 6 of the 8 USB ports are USB 2.0, and finally, no speakers in the box (which you will need, unless you prefer headphones). Whew...how can I love a machine with so many negatives, right, well...now on to the positives. It is an i7 machine for well below $1,000, the i7 chip is a quad core 4th gen Haswell chip (so a rock solid chip). 8gb of ram is in actuality plenty of ram for most users who will not use this machine for the most powerful pc games out there. It has wireless N built-in and immediately connects to your wireless network. 8 USB ports, so even thought most are USB 2.0, that is still a nice number of ports. A 1TB 7200 speed Drive (plenty of sub $1000 machines, both laptop/desktops still have 5100 speed Hard Drives, so a 7200 speed drive is quite a plus for this computer). It has HDMI out (and can support 4K video). Windows 10 strikes me as a noticeable improvement over the UI of WIndows 8/8.1). The bundled software immediately picked up that I had placed a film DVD in the DVD/CD drive and started playing the film. I connected a 2+ year old refurbished Blu Ray drive (that does not play DVDS, but plays blu rays with no problems on my laptop) to the machine and it immediately picked up that I had inserted a blu ray (you still need to purchase software that can play blu rays using this computer, just adding a blu ray drive will not do the trick). The reboot time is fast (even after I had added a few new downloads to the desktop). I made sure to test a youtube video, so I selected a hot movie trailer that just came out, made sure to full size the screen, and hit play...it streamed great with no pixilation issues or stuttering issues. The bottom line is that for a sub-$1000 i7 machine, it is quite a bargain (especially on sale). If you want to enjoy Netflix, You Tube, watching dvds.blu rays, listening to CDs, and diving into the internet, then you will not regret your purchase.

This was a great buy on black Friday. My only issue so far is that it crashed on set up and, since they don't stock it in the store, I've been waiting for it's replacement. Hopefully it will be as good in real life as it appears on paper. I am happy with how well the exchange has gone so far.

The first unit I had did not work. I returned it to BBuy and got a replacement in record time. This system works great, and it fulfills all of my requirements and more. I appreciate the abundance of USB ports and easy interfaces.

I placed the desktop on top of my desk next to the monitor and the noise from the fan is loud

added 8gb RAM and a Radeon gaming card. Now it is working wonderfully after a year.... still a very good deal.

It has an I7 generation 4 chip, that's why I baught it. but it seems to just run slighylt better than my old I3.

excellent purchase in 2015. upgrades done: 8GB RAM (now total 16GB) PCI2.1 x16 Graphics card 2GB RAM ($40 only) - now dual monitors. 128GB SSD (OS transferred to SSD) 2TB data disk This PC is serving me well. I think I can have it forever. :) limitation is 16GB RAM, you cannot have more then 16GB RAM !!

Works o.k. for a new computer. Can't rate it as a better product compared to other brands. Thought an Intel I 7 processer would be a lot faster.
