This Dell Plus 2-in-1 14" with touch screen functionality is a state of usability and affordability. Packaging is well thought-out and does not have any unnecessary packaging materials that feel environmentally unfriendly. For me, the size of the laptop is super acceptable, and it does provide me with a decent size to work and surf the web with no visibility issues. Dell went generous in terms of hardware; this compact laptop is equipped with high-performing parts, an AMD Ryzen AI 300 processor that leverages AI to enhance productivity and efficiency, 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of SSD storage, and integrated Radeon graphics. The screen offers a Full HD resolution of 1920x1200 at 60Hz. While that refresh rate is on the lower side, and the 300 nits brightness often requires cranking up to 100% for comfortable readability at least from my experience, it still performs well for productivity-focused tasks. With that being said, this laptop gave me more than what I needed. The laptop is lightweight and portable, and I could use it as an alternative to my tablet with more functionality because it's a full PC and has a nice soft keyboard, and the cherry on top of the cake is the embedded Copilot AI that is impressive, I used now more than any AIs since its handy and can be invoked by clicking the dedicated Copilot key. Super convenient and useful. The versatility of using it as a full PC and tablet is my favorite feature in this laptop. What impresses me most is its performance. It manages multitasking and heavy workloads without any lagging or freezing. It easily competes with, and at some points it outperforms, more expensive laptops. Even though this laptop has a Touch ID that enables Windows Hello quick login, I just wished the webcam had facial recognition also as sometimes my finger is dry, and the finger recognition could not recognize my registered finger even after multiple attempts. One downside is that it does not support Power Delivery (PD) charging. And limited to using the included charger, which is not ideal for a type of person like me who wants a universal USB-C charging setup on the go. That feature would have added a lot of convenience. Other than that, this laptop is an excellent choice: responsive, versatile, and packed with thoughtful features. The touch screen is smooth and supports multi-touch gestures seamlessly and battery life lasts long. For anyone looking for a hybrid between a tablet and a high-performance laptop, then stop looking and get this!

I have used this Dell Plus for some time now and in general I think it is a very solid machine. When I want to use the computer for both writing and reading, the 2K touch screen is nice to have. Also, I find the performance of the computer to be very consistent and having 1 TB of storage space at this price point is also a major advantage. The one area where I think Dell was a bit short on the money is the keyboard feel. The keys are not bad, but the button response is not nearly as pleasing or premium as I had hoped for. As much as I wish otherwise, after a while I do start to notice this during longer writing sessions and it does affect my overall user experience somewhat. The other issue I have experienced with this laptop is the fan noise. The fan is not always on and it is not typically very loud, but when it turns on it can be quite audible and will sometimes distract me when I am working in quiet areas and need to focus. Other than the above mentioned issues with the keyboard and fan, I would say that the rest of the features of the computer are well done: the screen is good, the computer is portable, it runs quickly in normal usage scenarios, and it looks clean and uncluttered. If you don't mind an average keyboard and the occasional fan noise then it is a reliable 2-in-1 laptop that will get the job done. Overall, I would give it a rating of 8 out of 10.

I use both Mac and Windows machines for work and home. The Dell Plus 14” 2-in-1 Touch-Screen Copilot+ PC is my current Windows machine. This model ships with 16GB of RAM, A 1TB SSD and touts the AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor. The reasons for choosing this model were Copilot+ option which includes a dedicated NPU, the 2-in1 design and the overall price point. What’s in the box: the Plus 14” 2-in-1, 65W AC adapter with USB-C connector, a single page quick start guide with a QR code to additional product support. Setup is straight forward although there was a firmware update that ran and when complete I could not log into the laptop. I had to log into a Microsoft site on another device and enter the provided 48-character code to unlock BitLocker and finally log into the Dell. I have not come across this before while setting up any type of device. First Impressions: The Dell Plus 14 2-in-1 is a very modern and low-profile build, using a unique hinge to keep the unit symmetrical when using as either a laptop or tablet. The Midnight Blue cover lends to a more personal device and protects while looking great! For a 14” laptop, it’s relatively thin and streamlined with multiple in/outputs including 2 x USB-C 3.2, 1 x HDMI 1.4, 1 x USB-A 3.2 and a headphone jack. With the use of the 1TB SSD, the system fires up instantly and the FHD+ touch screen (1920 x 1200 native resolution) is bright and seems larger than 14” due to the low-bevel design. There’s also a fingerprint reader built into the power button for a streamlined and secure login option. The laptop is well built and the keyboard, trackpad are laid out well. Performance: I loaded up some of my everyday apps including Microsoft Office and proceeded to open a few up and run multiple apps simultaneously. I then joined a Zoom video meeting to put it into real world environment. The Plus 14 2-inp1 plugged along quicker than my current MacBook Air. Applications and windows opened quickly, and the video meeting was crisp and without lag. The 2MP front-facing camera supports 1080p resolution. The Wi-Fi 6 hardware connected easily, and streaming was superb with no lag. In today’s streaming world, the Dell Plus 14 was up to the challenge! There are 2 downward firing speakers that suffice, but do not overly-impress (especially in laptop mode). The Copilot+ option and the dedicated NPU places this system in the AI-ready now and for what’s coming down the road category. Personally, I’m still a newbie to AI, but feel confident that this system will support my requirements as my skillset increases. Battery Life: The included 65W power cord is a bit on the larger size so not ideal for the road warriors out there. The battery life is excellent in either laptop or tablet mode. It can easily run for multiple days before needed to be recharged depending on use. I tested it using Microsoft Office applications running, streaming videos on YouTube and browsing the internet. Literally the battery lasted over a couple days of intermittent usage. Other Features: The keyboard is full size which makes it nice for the power users out there. It’s backlit for use in darker environments and the keys have a short throw with a crisp response. There’s also a fingerprint reader built into the power button for a simple and secure login. There’s also a dedicate Copilot+ key. The FHD+ touchscreen is 14” and I found it to be super responsive in tablet mode. The finish seemed to help reduce fingerprints and smudges as well, although the anti-glare finish did pick up glare in sunnier environments. The viewing angle, brightness and sharp graphics all make for an above average user experience. Tablet/Display mode – Dell uses a smart hinge that allows the device to be used as a laptop, tablet, folded display, etc. Due to the overall size of the system, it’s a bit of a handful in tablet mode, but after a few uses it became second nature and felt comfortable in my lap and in the car. As mentioned previously, the touchscreen is responsive and operates just like any other tablet. I’ve been using is in the touch-display mode and it’s become my favorite layout for use. Pros: - Well-built and sleek design is a plus for anyone looking to take the system on the road - Copilot+ features open the user to AI experiences now and in the future - Touch and response of the keyboard and large touchpad - AMD Ryzen processor is fast and aids in conserving battery life - Display is bright and crisp, even in brighter environments - Multiple use options including laptop, display and tablet modes - Battery life is exceptional - 16GB RAM and 1TB storage to support power users Cons: - Downward firing speakers get muffled in laptop mode - System ran a bit on the hot side in some applications, and fans are on the louder side - May be reaching here, but a smaller charging brick would be nice for use on the road Overall, the Dell Plus 14” 2-in-1 Copilot+ Touchscreen PC is a very well-made system with enough processing power to support most users out there. The included technology supports AI related applications now and is considered “future-proof” for what’s to come. I would certainly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a 2-in-1 setup.

I work on computers and laptops all day for both work and leisure. Because I do freelance work in several fields as well as personal creative projects, I use both clerical and intensive artistic software over the course of a week. The Dell Plus 2-in-1 14” FHD+ Touch Screen has been my go-to laptop ever since I got it. It has enough RAM to get the job done and the AMD Ryzen and Radeon allow me to breeze through my daily tasks faster than I am used to. What’s Included and Construction The laptop comes with a power cord that has a small and skinny brick along with a manual. The laptop itself is thin and sleek but heavy for its size. The keyboard is backlit, and the light can be changed to high, low, or off mode. The keys have a soft, smooth feel and provide quiet, tactile keystrokes. Every material used and the way it is put together gives it a high-quality feel and look. Being a 2-in-1 laptop, this PC includes touchscreen and can be flipped to the A-posture or used as a tablet. The 360-degree flexibility allows it to be functional in a variety of scenarios and gives it high versatility of use. Features The screen is FHD+ at 1920x1200. It provides an amazing picture for streaming movies and video editing. Text is completely smooth, no fray whatsoever. The combination of processor, graphics, and resolution work in tandem to get my work done fast. I download and upload videos I edit quicker than on my usual computer and videos play without any lag in picture or sound. This laptop is equipped with Copilot+, which is powered by the AMD Ryzen and uses NPU. I have used it throughout the week I have had it to create images to use for the content I help create. It is extremely useful as it alleviates me from the task of trying to search for a very specific type of image that my or may not exist. The Recall app is still a preview of what the full version will be, but so far it is interesting. I am able to go back and find what I have done on the PC and continue where I left off. I can see how it can be helpful, but I do also find it a tad unnerving as I continue to see the trend of digital trails grow. This PC is equipped with fingerprint ID, which makes sign-in quick and simple. It also gives the option to add additional fingers so if you share your laptop or want to sign in with separate fingers, that is an option. The speaker on this laptop is average at best. It has an audio jack and Bluetooth plus support for Dolby Atmos decoder so it can easily be circumvented. Same goes for the camera, which is 1080p resolution. It does the job for a Zoom meeting and blurs out wrinkles with the low resolution plus overexposes. I do like that it comes with a privacy cover that is so inconspicuous it is easy to miss. Additional Apps It comes with a 30-day trial of McAfee+ for any interested. It also includes the Dell app which helps toggle settings for display, power, and battery. It is helpful for those who are not computer savvy to find quick presets to change the settings without fumbling through the actual settings menu, but unnecessary otherwise. Durability/Battery Life The battery life on this laptop is great! It holds a charge longer than any of the laptops I have used thus far and usually goes over a day before needing a charge with intermittent, sometimes taxing, use from myself and others throughout the day. Conclusion Overall, I truly like this laptop. It has many features that help streamline my work, has a potent combination with the AMD Ryzen AI 300 and AMD Radeon 840M, and a long battery life despite the work I throw at it. Additional to that is the 16GB RAM and 1 TB SSD, this laptop has so much to work with for the price. Honestly, my main detractor is the weight, but I work from home. If you plan to travel with it, then it is something to keep in mind. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong with this Dell.

Equipped with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, a one TB drive and 16GB of RAM, this 14 inch touchscreen laptop computer is strong enough to handle just about anything you can throw at it. It’s not a gaming laptop but, it will certainly do well with most medium intensity ones. For connectivity, there is an HDMI port to allow an additional screen to be added, two USB-C ports, either of which can be used to charge the device. There is also one USB-A port and a headphone jack for when you want to stay with a wired headset. It has the latest wireless protocol referred to as “BE” built in which is backward compatible, along with Bluetooth. From a productivity perspective, it can certainly be your workhorse. At first glance, the Dell 14 Plus 2-in-1 laptop is a very nice-looking computer. The midnight blue is a sleek color and very appealing to look at. Initially opening the cover, you see a full-size keyboard with the expected function keys, Windows key and now becoming very common is the CoPilot button which used to be labeled with the hamburger icon for right click options. At boot up, I was able to get the necessary updates going right away and this all ultimately took about an hour to complete. There is a fingerprint sensor and a camera, either of which you can use for logging in securely. Windows does a great job of walking through getting all the necessary features setup as you begin customizing the laptop for your own needs. I finalized everything I wanted to have from an application perspective and eventually decided to stream a movie so I could see how good the display is. After firing up a couple different ones, action or sci-fi, to see the colors and response rates, I was very impressed. There was no lag or trails when watching something with a lot of fast movements and, the colors were very sharp with a very high level of detail. The blacks were very deep and detailed. Also, going from a window to full screen was quick and seamless without any noticeable slowness and switching back to a windowed view happened quickly as well. As mentioned, if productivity is what you plan on using this for, you will not be disappointed but, I would also recommend using it for entertainment as the video is excellent. The minimal downsides in my opinion are that it only has two speakers so the sound isn’t great and, its weight. At just under 4 pounds, there are comparable machines that are lighter however, in most case you will lose a feature or two such as the touch screen or maybe an expansion port. In either case, I think this should make your list when looking for a new highly capable laptop for personal or business use that is built with great specs and features.

Multi Mode Copilot+ PC with AMD processor

Dell - Plus 2-in-1 14" FHD+ Touch-Screen Laptop - AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 Copilot+ PC with 16GB Memory - 1TB SSD - Midnight Blue Dell - Plus 2-in-1 14" FHD+ Touch-Screen Laptop uses an AMD Ryzen 7 350 Series 16-core processor with the integrated Radeon 850M graphics onboard. This is a Copilot+ PC running Windows 11 Home. The RAM is limited to 16GB and cannot be upgraded. This model features a 1 TB M. 2 SSD. The nice added feature is that this is a 14” 2-in-1, allowing for use as a tablet or multi-mode type setup, and the hinge is quite heavy-duty. The screen features a nice multi-point touch interface and is designed to work with the Dell Active Pen. The screen is a 2K screen (1920 x 1200, 60Hz refresh rate, and a maximum bit depth of 8 bits) rated at 300 nits. Colors were not reproduced as accurately as on better displays. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time. The all-plastic case is a bit heavy, weighing in at just under 3.6 pounds, excluding the power brick, which is thankfully a smaller size. The laptop is on the thicker side, measuring approximately 0.8 inches. If they had gone with the all-aluminum case like their first XPS Copilot+ ARM processor design, they could have dropped the weight and made it a little slimmer. The processor featuring Neural Processing Units which is what Copilot+ was made for, and makes it a suitable laptop for creators, offering additional features for enhancing images and leveraging AI improvements. Although it's not a great gaming PC, the laptop's overall performance was very good. Tasks like email, word processing, and web browsing are completed quickly. It handles common tasks such as web browsing and video conferencing with speed. Applications open rapidly. It was quick when composing documents with images, calculating large data spreadsheets, and performing other productivity tasks. It also handled manipulating filters on multiple images, converting and editing videos, and rendering 3D models and calculating simulations efficiently. Although the Recall feature of Copilot+ PCs is still controversial, I found it helpful when trying to find what I was working on several days ago or longer. When installing Recall with encryption, BitLocker activation is required. It is essential to note that you will need to retrieve your BitLocker recovery key and enter it upon reboot after performing a BIOS or firmware update. However, this is a straightforward task with your Microsoft Account. While we are on security, the Dell-Plus has a fingerprint scanner, but the webcam does not support Windows Hello facial recognition. The laptop features one full-size USB-A port and two USB-C ports built in. While charging, one of the USB-C ports will be used for the power cable. Video outputs include a full-size HDMI port that supports DisplayPort over USB-C. The laptop supports Wi-Fi 7 with a compatible router, utilizing the 6GHz band for better throughput and reduced latency, which is especially useful in a dense Wi-Fi environment. It also features Bluetooth 5.4 and a 2.1MP webcam for video calls, complete with a manual sliding cover. Battery life lasted on average 16.25 hours with a light load of web browsing tests, and 14.25 hours in a heavier load of 4K video playback. One thing to note about initial startup and installation is that, until the system downloads initial updates, the installation can't run Wi-Fi 6.5 or 7. Although they are in the list, it shows no internet connection. It is easier to install over a Wi-Fi 2.4GHz connection and then upgrade your connection after the initial installation. This is not an unusual case, as I have seen numerous computers exhibit the same behavior. The only time I experienced high temperature output was during the initial installation, but that is also quite common until some of the control features are installed. The laptop is decent for its price point but could have been stellar with a couple of upgrades, even at a higher price. It comes with some good tools to help keep it updated and backed up. The only bloatware was the McAfee suite, which attempted to install various components. I would suggest not installing this during the initial setup and checking it out later to see if it works for you.

If you are looking for a laptop that can help you delve into Ai tools while supporting business applications and typical home use this is a good choice. The processor and laptop are built to support AI apps. My only complaint about this laptop is that it only has a single USB-A port and two USB-C ports (one is needed for power) and this limits the devices that can be attached. Pros: - FHD Touchscreen - 2-in-1 design with strong hinges - Built in NPU for Ai tools - 1 tb of NVMe storage - Dell build quality – solid, light and portable Cons: - No ability to add additional Ram although the included 16gb should be enough for most applications - Limited number of Ports – only one USB-A and two USB-C Display: The display is FHD at 1920 x 1200 resolution and is good for the typical office apps, web browsing or watching videos. It’s very viewable whether you are using it as a laptop or as a tablet. The display is bright and has good contrast while providing deep color saturation at the normal viewing angles of the screen. Storage and Memory: There is only one NVMe slot for storage but this laptop has a 1 TB gen 4 card which should be plenty for most users. There is 16gb of DDR4 ram installed and for a laptop in this category that should be sufficient however the RAM is not upgradeable per Dell’s documentation. Performance: The laptop comes with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor which is built to support Ai apps by having its own Neural Engine that is capable of executing 50 TOPS. It also includes a built in GPU so you get improved graphics capabilities. I’ve included the Geekbench 6 benchmarks below for reference. Geekbench 6 Scores: Single Core: 2833 Multi Core: 11831 Open CL: 21347 Vulkan: 23933

This is a great portable Duo 2-1 (laptop/tablet) focused on productivity and light creative work! I love the design that Dell came up with for this machine. It's nice and sleek, i like the colors and most importantly the hinge design in this thing is spot on. I like the 14" size and maybe because it's super light too, makes it si easy to cary pretty much anywhere! The processor (AMD Ryzen AI7) boosts plenty of power for daily tasks and it does it very efficient helping the laptop to achieve between 15-19 hours of battery life! It never gets hot and paired with the 16GB of ram and 1TB SSD storage make this machine a very capable, AI dedicated product! I love that the keyboard is backlit and feels very good at typing. But also switching to tablet mode this thing is very responsive and using the multipoint touchscreen is dream. I have found myself loving the Copilot feature, and specially when it's ran by a dedicated processor makes it so much more accurate! I have used it at work few time or i would throw it sometimes in my backpack while i ride my motorcycle without even feeling a thing so i can take it with me when i want to be outside and work on some of my stuff. I think it's a nice little and capable companion that solves most of the daily tasks, it is AI ready and most importantly a very nice looking device!

I am completely satisfied with this computer based on my criteria. I wanted a different color and the midnight blue is very elegant. I wanted a smaller light weight computer but easy to type. It is exactly what I wanted and fits into my carrying case perfectly. The faster speed and larger storage will extend the life and I dont change computers often. I highly recommend if these are some of your needs as well.
