Great Workhorse with Long Battery Life
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work on computers and laptops all day for both work and leisure. Because I do freelance work in several fields as well as personal creative projects, I use both clerical and intensive artistic software over the course of a week. The Dell Plus 2-in-1 14” FHD+ Touch Screen has been my go-to laptop ever since I got it. It has enough RAM to get the job done and the AMD Ryzen and Radeon allow me to breeze through my daily tasks faster than I am used to. What’s Included and Construction The laptop comes with a power cord that has a small and skinny brick along with a manual. The laptop itself is thin and sleek but heavy for its size. The keyboard is backlit, and the light can be changed to high, low, or off mode. The keys have a soft, smooth feel and provide quiet, tactile keystrokes. Every material used and the way it is put together gives it a high-quality feel and look. Being a 2-in-1 laptop, this PC includes touchscreen and can be flipped to the A-posture or used as a tablet. The 360-degree flexibility allows it to be functional in a variety of scenarios and gives it high versatility of use. Features The screen is FHD+ at 1920x1200. It provides an amazing picture for streaming movies and video editing. Text is completely smooth, no fray whatsoever. The combination of processor, graphics, and resolution work in tandem to get my work done fast. I download and upload videos I edit quicker than on my usual computer and videos play without any lag in picture or sound. This laptop is equipped with Copilot+, which is powered by the AMD Ryzen and uses NPU. I have used it throughout the week I have had it to create images to use for the content I help create. It is extremely useful as it alleviates me from the task of trying to search for a very specific type of image that my or may not exist. The Recall app is still a preview of what the full version will be, but so far it is interesting. I am able to go back and find what I have done on the PC and continue where I left off. I can see how it can be helpful, but I do also find it a tad unnerving as I continue to see the trend of digital trails grow. This PC is equipped with fingerprint ID, which makes sign-in quick and simple. It also gives the option to add additional fingers so if you share your laptop or want to sign in with separate fingers, that is an option. The speaker on this laptop is average at best. It has an audio jack and Bluetooth plus support for Dolby Atmos decoder so it can easily be circumvented. Same goes for the camera, which is 1080p resolution. It does the job for a Zoom meeting and blurs out wrinkles with the low resolution plus overexposes. I do like that it comes with a privacy cover that is so inconspicuous it is easy to miss. Additional Apps It comes with a 30-day trial of McAfee+ for any interested. It also includes the Dell app which helps toggle settings for display, power, and battery. It is helpful for those who are not computer savvy to find quick presets to change the settings without fumbling through the actual settings menu, but unnecessary otherwise. Durability/Battery Life The battery life on this laptop is great! It holds a charge longer than any of the laptops I have used thus far and usually goes over a day before needing a charge with intermittent, sometimes taxing, use from myself and others throughout the day. Conclusion Overall, I truly like this laptop. It has many features that help streamline my work, has a potent combination with the AMD Ryzen AI 300 and AMD Radeon 840M, and a long battery life despite the work I throw at it. Additional to that is the 16GB RAM and 1 TB SSD, this laptop has so much to work with for the price. Honestly, my main detractor is the weight, but I work from home. If you plan to travel with it, then it is something to keep in mind. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong with this Dell.

Multi Mode Copilot+ PC with AMD processor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dell - Plus 2-in-1 14" FHD+ Touch-Screen Laptop - AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 Copilot+ PC with 16GB Memory - 1TB SSD - Midnight Blue Dell - Plus 2-in-1 14" FHD+ Touch-Screen Laptop uses an AMD Ryzen 7 350 Series 16-core processor with the integrated Radeon 850M graphics onboard. This is a Copilot+ PC running Windows 11 Home. The RAM is limited to 16GB and cannot be upgraded. This model features a 1 TB M. 2 SSD. The nice added feature is that this is a 14” 2-in-1, allowing for use as a tablet or multi-mode type setup, and the hinge is quite heavy-duty. The screen features a nice multi-point touch interface and is designed to work with the Dell Active Pen. The screen is a 2K screen (1920 x 1200, 60Hz refresh rate, and a maximum bit depth of 8 bits) rated at 300 nits. Colors were not reproduced as accurately as on better displays. The display has a wide viewing angle, especially important if more than one person needs to see the screen at a time. The all-plastic case is a bit heavy, weighing in at just under 3.6 pounds, excluding the power brick, which is thankfully a smaller size. The laptop is on the thicker side, measuring approximately 0.8 inches. If they had gone with the all-aluminum case like their first XPS Copilot+ ARM processor design, they could have dropped the weight and made it a little slimmer. The processor featuring Neural Processing Units which is what Copilot+ was made for, and makes it a suitable laptop for creators, offering additional features for enhancing images and leveraging AI improvements. Although it's not a great gaming PC, the laptop's overall performance was very good. Tasks like email, word processing, and web browsing are completed quickly. It handles common tasks such as web browsing and video conferencing with speed. Applications open rapidly. It was quick when composing documents with images, calculating large data spreadsheets, and performing other productivity tasks. It also handled manipulating filters on multiple images, converting and editing videos, and rendering 3D models and calculating simulations efficiently. Although the Recall feature of Copilot+ PCs is still controversial, I found it helpful when trying to find what I was working on several days ago or longer. When installing Recall with encryption, BitLocker activation is required. It is essential to note that you will need to retrieve your BitLocker recovery key and enter it upon reboot after performing a BIOS or firmware update. However, this is a straightforward task with your Microsoft Account. While we are on security, the Dell-Plus has a fingerprint scanner, but the webcam does not support Windows Hello facial recognition. The laptop features one full-size USB-A port and two USB-C ports built in. While charging, one of the USB-C ports will be used for the power cable. Video outputs include a full-size HDMI port that supports DisplayPort over USB-C. The laptop supports Wi-Fi 7 with a compatible router, utilizing the 6GHz band for better throughput and reduced latency, which is especially useful in a dense Wi-Fi environment. It also features Bluetooth 5.4 and a 2.1MP webcam for video calls, complete with a manual sliding cover. Battery life lasted on average 16.25 hours with a light load of web browsing tests, and 14.25 hours in a heavier load of 4K video playback. One thing to note about initial startup and installation is that, until the system downloads initial updates, the installation can't run Wi-Fi 6.5 or 7. Although they are in the list, it shows no internet connection. It is easier to install over a Wi-Fi 2.4GHz connection and then upgrade your connection after the initial installation. This is not an unusual case, as I have seen numerous computers exhibit the same behavior. The only time I experienced high temperature output was during the initial installation, but that is also quite common until some of the control features are installed. The laptop is decent for its price point but could have been stellar with a couple of upgrades, even at a higher price. It comes with some good tools to help keep it updated and backed up. The only bloatware was the McAfee suite, which attempted to install various components. I would suggest not installing this during the initial setup and checking it out later to see if it works for you.

AI ready but has limited USB ports and Ram
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a laptop that can help you delve into Ai tools while supporting business applications and typical home use this is a good choice. The processor and laptop are built to support AI apps. My only complaint about this laptop is that it only has a single USB-A port and two USB-C ports (one is needed for power) and this limits the devices that can be attached. Pros: - FHD Touchscreen - 2-in-1 design with strong hinges - Built in NPU for Ai tools - 1 tb of NVMe storage - Dell build quality – solid, light and portable Cons: - No ability to add additional Ram although the included 16gb should be enough for most applications - Limited number of Ports – only one USB-A and two USB-C Display: The display is FHD at 1920 x 1200 resolution and is good for the typical office apps, web browsing or watching videos. It’s very viewable whether you are using it as a laptop or as a tablet. The display is bright and has good contrast while providing deep color saturation at the normal viewing angles of the screen. Storage and Memory: There is only one NVMe slot for storage but this laptop has a 1 TB gen 4 card which should be plenty for most users. There is 16gb of DDR4 ram installed and for a laptop in this category that should be sufficient however the RAM is not upgradeable per Dell’s documentation. Performance: The laptop comes with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor which is built to support Ai apps by having its own Neural Engine that is capable of executing 50 TOPS. It also includes a built in GPU so you get improved graphics capabilities. I’ve included the Geekbench 6 benchmarks below for reference. Geekbench 6 Scores: Single Core: 2833 Multi Core: 11831 Open CL: 21347 Vulkan: 23933

Nice 2 in 1 AI ready
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great portable Duo 2-1 (laptop/tablet) focused on productivity and light creative work! I love the design that Dell came up with for this machine. It's nice and sleek, i like the colors and most importantly the hinge design in this thing is spot on. I like the 14" size and maybe because it's super light too, makes it si easy to cary pretty much anywhere! The processor (AMD Ryzen AI7) boosts plenty of power for daily tasks and it does it very efficient helping the laptop to achieve between 15-19 hours of battery life! It never gets hot and paired with the 16GB of ram and 1TB SSD storage make this machine a very capable, AI dedicated product! I love that the keyboard is backlit and feels very good at typing. But also switching to tablet mode this thing is very responsive and using the multipoint touchscreen is dream. I have found myself loving the Copilot feature, and specially when it's ran by a dedicated processor makes it so much more accurate! I have used it at work few time or i would throw it sometimes in my backpack while i ride my motorcycle without even feeling a thing so i can take it with me when i want to be outside and work on some of my stuff. I think it's a nice little and capable companion that solves most of the daily tasks, it is AI ready and most importantly a very nice looking device!

Amazing laptop, Super fast and portable.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this Dell. The speed is incredible, the AMD Ryzen AI 7 makes the laptop feel fast, responsive and smooth, even when I have multiple apps open. The touchscreen and 2-in-1 design make it fun to use whether I’m typing, browsing, or watching videos, and switching into tablet mode is effortless. Battery life is very good, easily lasting for long hours without constantly needing a charger. The keyboard feels amazing when typing, very comfortable and satisfying, especially for long work sessions. My favorite part is the size and portability. It’s slim, lightweight, and fits perfectly in all my handbags, so carrying it around is not a hassle at all. This laptop looks premium, performs fast, and is super convenient to travel with. I definitely recommend it.

Good Midrange Laptop for Work or Leisure!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Dell - Plus 2-in1 14” FHD+ Touch Screen Laptop with the AMD Ryzen AI 7 PC with 16gigs of Ram is a good pick for someone looking for a work PC or someone that just needs a good Laptop for casual use. It has a pretty good screen with decent brightness and a 1920x1200 resolution. This PC has a CPU with the Ryzen AI 7 350 from the 300 series that is good for multitasking, productivity and multimedia creation. The Graphics Card, however, is an entry-level AMD Radeon 840M. That means the GPU is fine for casual games but not good for power-hungry games that require a good Graphics Processing Unit to get a good frame rate. However, it is a stand-alone graphics card so it uses its own RAM for processing. Additionally, this Laptop has 16 gigs of RAM and a 1 terabyte SSD of the PCI Express type. That means it will be good for transferring large files quickly, along with the CPU this laptop has. As long as the other device has a fast interface you are transferring files to or from you should be able to get work done fairly fast. The Ram is 7500 megahertz as well, which will keep things moving along nicely. I plan on using this for work and it has USB-C ports that send a signal to another screen while being charged from that screen's power connection through the same USB-C cable at the same time. Also, because it is a 2in1 and a touchscreen, so it can be used as a tablet as well with its own built-in stand. Just fold it over and you're good to go for watching a movie. I have more powerful laptops with better screens, but I feel like this Dell AMD laptop is a great choice for anyone looking for a good laptop in this price range. The color is great and it is a good-looking compact 2in1 laptop.

Good daily use laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked up this laptop on sale after Black Friday; the wife needed a replacement for an old Chromebook that was no longer receiving updates. So, we didn't need a powerful laptop (mainly for emails and web surfing), but I wanted one that would stay usable for several years and rounds of Windows updates. I was also concerned about price hikes due to tariffs after the New Year. For the price paid, this seems to have been a good deal - The laptop is compact and lightweight, with an illuminated keyboard and touch screen (both were requirements for us). I had read some complaints about the screen brightness, but for us it seems adequate (though it gets used mainly inside, not in bright light). It runs pretty cool and quiet for normal work. The blue color is understated and attractive. It's snappy enough for light work; I do wish it had more RAM for longevity but at the under $800 price point it's tough to find a laptop with 24 or 32Gb RAM. So far it seems to be working fine with the 16Gb RAM, hopefully Windows 11 won't continue to require more RAM with future updates.

Excellent business laptop!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop, especially when buying it on sale for less than $600 dollars. Internal specs are good, with the Ryzen 7 AI 350 series processor (8 cores/16 threads), with Radeon 860M graphics (some list 840M, but this one is 860M). Standard 16GB of RAM, and 1TB NVME storage drive. Dedicated AI engine is also great. Light weight at 3.5 lbs, nice look, decent touch feel and large touch pad. It is not perfect, however. List of cons: - On the box it says it has a Thunderbolt port, but it does not. Only has USB 3.1 type C. AMD powered laptops do not come with Thunderbolt. That is an Intel feature. To connect extra monitor, you will need an HDMI mini to HDMI cable. - Webcam is only 2MP, max resolution of 1920x1080p. - The keyboard plastic is a bit flimsy and bendy. - Trackpad click is a bit noisier than I'd like to.

A good balance of performance and battery life
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent performance. Works well with virtualized (thinstalled) apps as well as apps installed in the Operating system. It ran hot at first when it was downloading and installing Microsoft updates, to the point where i was worried the plastic underneath could melt. Propped it up to keep the vents clear. After all the drivers were installed, I have not seen it run anywhere near hot like that again. Battery life is decent too (easily lasting overnight streaming video).

Decent MacBook Air Alternative
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for an every day on-the-go laptop that's both portable, light, and still get some work done, this is it. I own a MacBook Pro M3 for those more intense applications. But this is a great option for when I'm just trying to do some light photo exciting, and the touch screen is great for that! I was looking into being the MacBook Air, but the 2-in-1 won me over. It got dinged because it is not that bright when outdoors, but I generally won't be out at the park with it.

Amazing value and performance
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This PC performs well for school or office use. The 1TB SSD is sufficient for normal document storage as well as a decent amount of multimedia. The processor is beefy enough to handle any processing task, even some decent gaming though the video card renders it a good at best gaming option. Got this on sale which made it an exceptional value though admittedly at full price might have considered other options at that price which include better specs like screen and weight. Also, the number of USB-C ports for charging as well as video other functions are exceptional for a laptop.

Had Weird Issues, But Could Be Great
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Dell - Plus 2-in-1 14" FHD with touch-screen laptop, including AMD Ryzen processor, AI 7 350 Copilot with 16GB Memory, and 1TB SSD in midnight blue has been a tale of 2 stories for me, good and not so good. The not so good hit me at the git go. I have been working with this machine for a while so that I can give a fair assessment for these purposes. The box comes with the actual unit and the electric charging cord with its transformer. Essentially, no user manual or user guide is sent and there is a QR code to scan to get further information on setup. Aesthetically, the midnight blue is very nice and the unit is thin, stealth-like, and since it is lightweight this laptop is very easy to manage and transport. I am a 66-year-old with no IT experience and use this computer for the normal day to day stuff, including email, internet surfing, entertainment, etc. I am not a gamer. The setup process is quite seamless and easy, or so I thought. I do not know if this is only me, but I did not see or experience the email icon to link my email accounts in the setup. I spent a lot of time trying to find it through the settings, or the list of preloaded apps and could never find it. So I went to the app store and downloaded Mozilla Thunderbird and downloaded that and then linked my email account. Strike 1. So, I did wind up having to do the setup process 2x because something weirder than weird happened to me. After doing setup 1, I closed the laptop and then reopened it the next morning and a very strange screen appeared, one that I have never seen before. There was a BitLocker Recovery Screen message and every way that I tried to right this wrong failed and in the end I wrangled with the machine and did a factory reset, thus setup #2. Luckily, after that, I was able to log on again and get a "normal" screen. I was shocked because the setup#1 to me went well- I had successfully logged in and linked to my Microsoft account, getting my Office Suite of programs, as well, as syncing this laptop not only to my mobile phone, but my other computers so that this desktop had the same folders and files. I did contact the Insider Tech Team and was given a contact at Dell who immediately responded back to me. She said that typically, if a BitLocker recovery screen appears, it's because Windows detected a possible security issue with the device, such as an unauthorized user trying to access data on the device. I am an only user and never entered any other possible or authorized user. She then told me that if the recovery key doesn't work, performing a factory reset, as I did was a way to regain access to the device. She also said that this type of situation is not usually indicative of a hardware issue, which was my main concern. She then told me that I could also try disable BitLocker by following steps: Go to Control Panel > BitLocker Drive Encryption > Click on "Turn off BitLocker" for the drive that's encrypted > Follow the prompts to turn off BitLocker > Restart the device. So, I do not know if I had a corrupted OS installed, but this has never happened again, that is why I have waited some time before writing this review. I really do like many of the features loaded on this machine, such as the touch screen and the AI Copilot, but I am a little bit leery because of what happened at setup#1 and for the fact that an email app was not preloaded on this machine.

Beautiful Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually just did a review on the first laptop I bought, not realizing it was the one I returned. THIS is the one I am keeping. The first was very small and did not have the number pad, so I returned it and paid the extra for this one. It is very easy to use. The touch while typing is wonderful, AND it has the number pad, which is really important with the various activities I am involved in. The number one thing that I did not think I would use is the touch screen. I have always used a wireless mouse and had planned on continuing. However, today, I forgot to bring it with me. I thought I would not be able to work but then remembered it, tried it out and am absolutely LOVING it! I can't believe how easy it is and I will be using it on a daily basis. Thank you so, SO much!

Love the design, but horrible display
||Posted . Not bright enough to work in a sunlit area. And the colors are not true, so don’t expwct to use it outside of your office as an entertainment device.
