CoPilot buggy blocks access to internet for bank and email access. Doesn't recognize external wireless drives. Stalls frequently in normal use of MicroSoft Office documents requiring a restart of the MicroSoft application. As much as I dislike Macbook it would have been a besser option. This is a waste of money! Windows 11 not ready for prime time.

The screen turns off randomly. I scratched the case so its not elligible to return. This is evidently a common problem with Dell.

This has been the worst customer service I have ever received! I purchased this NEW computer on 8/21 for my new work laptop. I paid to have all my programs loaded onto it. Had IT Folks come in and try and connect it to our server so I could scan, print etc. The computer screen kept going black and then the computer would shutoff.

I chose the 2025 Dell Plus 2-in-1 16" FHD+ touch screen laptop to replace my aging Dell Inspiron. I needed a faster processor, bigger screen, more RAM and a much larger hard drive. I also needed to finally move on from Windows 10 given it's imminent demise. I am also intrigued by the developing AI hardware/software potential. I like the Dell brand and this laptop checks the boxes. The unit was packaged in recyclable materials which I appreciated and I had it unpacked and charging in minutes. Dell claims over 20 hours of battery life! Charging speed via the 65 watt included charger feels average to me. The initial setup proceeded immediately and was really flawless. However, as the unit warns you, the number of upgrades that need to be downloaded and installed was ridiculous! Even with fast Internet access the process required nearly two hours to complete! After multiple restarts (which then revealed yet MORE required downloads!) the system was finally ready for use... Physically the Plus 2-in-1 has a quality feel. The case is rigid and not too heavy. The screen is expansive. The backlit keyboard feels solid. The trackpad is HUGE but not overly sensitive so I do not experience any accidental actions from my hands' incidental contact. The specs include an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB PCIe SSD. The FHD+ display offers 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) resolution and the touch capability is detailed and responsive. There are also a generous number of ports offered including an HDMI 2.1 Display Connector, a USB-A 3.2 port, a USB-C 3.2 port and a Thunderbolt 4 (40 Gbps) port with DisplayPort 2.1 too! Finally, there is a headphone/microphone jack. Wireless connectivity includes both Bluetooth BE and Wi-Fi 7 which connected flawlessly to my in-home network. A couple of observations (minor downsides) for me... The unit is pretty large and a little heavy. The screen is large but is very reflective and only reaches 300 nits. Colors saturation is good but not great, The 2-in-1 feature may be convenient for some (creators???) but is awkward to actually deploy and use. Dell does NOT include a stylus which would seem to be the preferred tool. Although positioned as an AI tool for creators, the system does NOT include an NPU which is featured in many competitors' offerings. Overall the laptop has snappy performance and a quality feel. It is a solid product with a quality architecture that has checked all the boxes that I initially wanted.

Dell has developed a computer which is quite user friendly and extremely fast. It’s very nice having the touch screen. I should have bought this sooner as the speed at all levels is very good. It’s very light and the battery longevity is great.

New keyboard, which forsome reason Dell indented so that the space bar is lower than your hands, and you often miss it creating runon words, has half keys for up and down arrows. Very hard to get used to. Won't buyanother Dell.

Dell - Plus 2-in-1 16" FHD+ Touch Screen Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 7 Copilot+ PC with 16GB Memory - 1TB SSD The 16 Dell Plus 2 in 1 laptop/tablet is well made and solid. It has a 16” touch screen for ease of use when in tablet mode as well as laptop mode. The processor is a Core Ultra 7 256V that has only 8 cores, 4 performance and 4 low power efficient cores. It has a total of 8 threads with a max frequency of 4.8 GHz. Using the CPU built in Intel Arc graphics the display is sharp and fluid. This is not a gaming laptop, but rather a well rounded 2 in 1 for general use with long battery life. With the battery fully charged I watched 4 hours of full screen video with the volume at a normal listening level and it only used 25% of the battery life. The stereo speakers are located under the sides of the laptop with sound reflecting off the table when in laptop mode and radiating from under the display when in tablet mode. The sound is acceptable with plenty of volume. It has 16 GB of ram that is not upgradable, 1 TB NVMe SSD that is replaceable/upgradable up to a full size 2280 drive. It has a fingerprint reader for Windows log in. The ports are 1 HDMI full size, 2 USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports (also used for charging), 1 USB-A, and 1 headset jack. The keyboard is backlit that seems well suited for night use. It’s running Windows 11 Home 24H2 and comes with McAfee Premium but it’s only a 30 day trial. My general overall experience using this laptop was as expected for the processor and ram being used. The best use for this would be general document work, web browsing, E-Mail and other home or office tasks. It can play simple games, but it’s not really meant for that. I would say that it’s priced a little high for the specs but at this point everything is. If you’re looking for a good, easy to use, everyday laptop this fits that roll well.

I waited well over an hour to pick up my new computer. It didn't work well and seemed cluttered when I got it home. Computer is very slow. I am not a computer expert. I just wanted something that was easy to work with. Oh well maybe next time in a different universe...

I couldn’t be more disappointed in my purchase. This laptop was much cheaper than the HP & I find it incredibly hard to use. Things are popping up on the screen constantly that I don’t want. Clearly for me, this wasn’t a “Best Buy!”

This is a decently powerful laptop, a good looking display, but having a minor issue with the keyboard, which I'll go into later. This PC is a bit heavier than I was expecting, but then the monitor is slightly larger than most of my other laptops. I wasn't familiar with Intel's latest CPU naming convention, and wasn't certain if this was just another i7 or something else. Turns out, it's something else. But it does seem to perform well. I checked a few testing sites and this CPU compares quite well to similar CPUs. I was a bit surprised it only has eight cores (my Samsung Snapdragon laptop has 12 cores and a faster speed) but it has still performed well. It has two USB-C ports (one used as the power connection) and one USB-A. Other connections are an HDMI output and a mini-jack for a headphones/microphone. Honestly I would instead use the built-in Bluetooth for any headphone connection. It also has a camera facing the user and a built-in microphone for things like Zoom or Teams. This computer offers Microsoft Copilot functionality. A quick and simplistic explanation is the computer has AI enhancements that can assist the user. Many of the functions are for creativity uses, which doesn't fit in my use case, so I get little from it. For some users, it can be an enormous help in many ways. I'll leave it for the user to research what's available and how it can be of use to them. Now the keyboard. I have a number of laptops, not only Dell but other makers. With them all I have always placed my hands on the keyboard the same way, pretty much typing in exactly the same way. I usually press the space bar with my right thumb, but for some reason this keyboard doesn't always register the press, so I end up with no space between words. When using my left thumb, it has never missed a press. I would guess it's an anomaly specific to this piece of hardware, since I have never experienced it with any other laptop from any manufacturer. Just something to watch for.

Laptop came perfectly packaged and delivered in perfect condition, dispite the box being really big for a laptop, but it’s also got a large 16” screen so all good. Inside is the laptop and the charger and first impressions of this laptop was the size of the screen and how beautiful it looks. I was amazed thinking to myself how did I miss that two inches (most of my laptops are 14”) I mean what a difference that makes as far as being able to see more clearly what I’m working on and of course for watching any media on it. I usually just mess around with some spreadsheets and send emails and stuff like that. One thing I always got going on is multiple browser tabs because I might be listening to phone calls, updating a price file, shopping competition, ordering supplies etc. This laptop is capable of all the task I put it through and its processing is plenty fast enough for me. The real reason to buy this is its sleek look and amazing crystal clear screen. It’s really cool. The only downside is the keyboard for some reason just seems a little off so I recommend you try out typing make sure you can live with it. Overall I’m really impressed and this is my new daily use laptop.
