Let down on plastic quality, feel, and personality

I wanted to love this laptop as I have a number of Dell computers, but this one was lack luster, meh! The plastic feels cheap while the XPS's of a few years ago were a delight to feel. It doesn't like to turn on without a warm up and the ssd doesn't really feel like the fast restarts are on par with other laptops at this price point. It is tough to open without two hands and lacks in the user friendly feel of a smooth opening laptop. I wish it had one usb-a...I know USB-C is the new age, but we all still have something like a gaming headset, mouse receiver, etc that a usb-a port is still relevant. One plus is that the display is bright, vibrant, and stunning visually! That is what should have inspired the surrounding design, but it just feels blah. When you go to reposition it on a hard surface, it just has that cheap feel and sound as it interacts with other materials. Lastly, and probably the saddest let down for me was demanding games...I get like 24 frames in open world games with mid quality settings for graphics. Sorry, Dell but not a winner for me
