Great system for office use / schoolwork
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Given its design and intended purpose, this Dell slim desktop PC with an Intel Core Ultra 7-265 processor, 16GB DDR5 5600 MT/s memory, 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, and Intel UHD graphics is a great option if you are in need of a dependable desktop PC that is dedicated to office use and/or schoolwork. My business has used slim-sized Dell desktop PC’s like this one for many years now and I have never been disappointed. Fortunately, this current version of the slim Dell desktop PC follows the trend of its predecessors by providing reliable performance without having to pay a lofty price for unnecessary features and gaming-level components. The 1TB SSD provides more than enough storage for our purposes and the integrated Intel UHD graphics provides all the graphical performance we need, even when using multiple monitors which is easily accomplished since the system includes both an HDMI 2.1 port as well as one DisplayPort 1.4 connector. The single stick of 16GB DDR5 memory also provides just the right amount of RAM for our purposes but this can easily be upgraded by purchasing and adding a second stick to the available second slot on the motherboard. Speaking of the motherboard, it is easily accessible via thumbscrews on the back of the unit. Additional upgradeability is somewhat limited but nobody would realistically purchase a system like this with the hopes of adding a more powerful graphics card or anything else you would expect to find in a higher-end system. Other features this particular system includes are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 6, one gigabit Ethernet port, four USB-A 2.0 ports (2 front, 2 rear), three USB-A 3.2 ports (1 front, 2 rear), and one USB-C 3.2 port (front). Again, this is more than enough for my purposes at the office and I believe would be similarly sufficient for a student in need of a PC purely for schoolwork. Overall, this Dell slim desktop PC with an Intel Core Ultra 7-265 processor, 16GB DDR5 5600 MT/s memory, 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, and Intel UHD graphics is a great system given its design and intended purpose and I highly recommend it!
