    Bought this for my son. He really loves it, all the functionality of the MS Surface at about half the price. Better tablet form factor for when you are using it without the keyboard. MS Office 365 1 year included free by Best Buy - nice :)

    The Dell Venue Pro is a great value Tablet PC with an included keyboard in the price. It easily upgrades to Windows 10 64 bit edition and has a full HD screen for increased productivity.

    Laptop feels well-made however several issues with charging and the cable. If it did not have charging issues I would have given it a 5.

    In-store experience was excellent, the associate's product knowledge was amazing as usual. The product that I purchased has exceeded all expectations and seeing that I work for relatively large company I believe I have chosen this device for implementation and some healthcare facilities. I will certainly be returning to your store for a repeat of the sale and the care that was taken during the sale.

    I like the functionality of he tablet. The fact that it has a USB port makes it very versatile. I used it to program my tv remote and it works perfectly. I seem to be having a difficult time finding s case that I like but overall great tablet.

    Very nice tablet. Runs full Windows, and is up-gradable to Windows 10. I replaced the 64GB SSD with a 256GB Transcend TS256GMTS600. Simply made an image to a SD card with Macrium Reflect Free, created the recovery media with Macrium on a USB flashdrive, took out the 64GB SSD, replaced it with the 256GB, restarted holding volume up to get to BIOS boot menu, chose the flashdrive, restored from the SD card. Then, using Partition Wizard Free, extended the OS volume to take up all unallocated space, and it works like a charm! Look online for all the things that you can do with the optional dock as far as having it drive two monitors, attaching keyboard and mouse, etc. For the price here, you can't beat it!

    I was told when I bought a specific case, from Dell, that it would work with the docking station specific to the tablet. Couldn't get that to be. So I called Dell a couple of times asking for instructions on how to do what I wanted to do...I kept getting transferred from one department to another. Great tablet, poor support.

    There was not enough memory for my purposes. Windows OS took up too much space, so I returned it and ended up getting HP all in one desktop.

    Good: runs Linux, storage upgradeable, heavy, wide

    The Venue is rated among best in class for business-friendly 2-in-1 PC, comparing well to MS Surface Pro. I agree overall, but have some issues with it. 1. Storage is limited at 64GB, so I swapped in a 250GB SSD (M.2 form factor). 2. It is a bit heavy for its size vs a Surface Pro, but I think that is partly due to a sturdy build, so worth it - time will tell. 3. It is just about a half-inch too wide at 11" to fit in a lot cases meant for 10-10.8" tablets. However, I did find that a case for the Surface Pro 2 would work, although a bit snug. 4. The included "slim" keyboard does not maintain contact very well, and I have to keep re-seating the tablet to re-establish that contact. I gave up, and got a used Dell battery/dock keyboard meant for the Venue from that site where people bid on listings if you know what I mean. That works much better, and does add a bit of run time with its battery, but being used, mine only seems to add about 1.5-2 hours. The battery keyboard also is heavy enough to keep the combo upright on its own without rear supports such as used by the slim keyboard, so the unit behaves just like a standard clamshell notebook PC, although that does add to the carry weight (close to 5 pounds total I believe). The keys are much nicer with better separation and tactile feel than the slim keyboard's. Unfortunately for me, as with any other keyboards that include a touchpad under the space bar, I am constantly brushing it with the sides of my thumbs, so get random jumps of the mouse cursor as I type - drives me crazy. I really would like to have a Trackpoint option instead (not a hybrid touchpad+trackpoint common with "business class" notebooks from Dell and HP) as with a bluetooth Lenovo keyboard for their "old" Thinkpad Tablet 2 - I pair mine up once in a while, but it requires a separate stand for the Venue then, and is not automatically paired with Linux. That last point indicates a huge plus for me: Linux CAN be installed on the Venue once the boot loader is unlocked, which is quite easy to do in the firmware setup. The Venue can even be set to legacy boot mode to make it easy for non-UEFI 32-bit Linux installations as with my Linux Mint 17. The only downside is that, so far, I have not found a way to activate the audio support - video, touchscreen, wifi, power management, all work fine, just not sound. I can live with this by booting back to Windows 8.1 (not trusting Win10 yet) if I really want sound as with watching ESPN games, or YouTube stuff, but that is the exceptional use by me for this PC (I have others for those kinds of uses normally). This is my productivity portable PC, not entertainment (involving sound at least - good for reading, though). This review was written on my Venue - blame any typos on the touchpad "cursor randomizer" ;-}
