This is a nice small and portable lap top. Lots of memory and speed. Not a fan of the touch delete button, too easy to make mistakes but I suppose I'll get used to it. I really like that the touch pad identifies fingers and not palms. I rest my palms below the keyboard and this feature reduces the "jumping cursor" I struggled with before. It's too soon to judge battery life. Seems all lap tops start out great then falter. Hopefully technology improves and isn't the case here.

If you are looking for multiple plug in, please know that there is only 2 USB-C ports. Not a huge deal but is a little bit of a struggle when using external hard drives. The laptop itself is great & I would recommend to others

When it works, the ARM performance is great and the battery life is excellent. The screen is also excellent. On paper it is a powerful and lightweight laptop. However, because it is ARM based and relatively new to the laptop world, it fails to boot for 5-10 minutes every morning, going to the Windows recovery screen, before finally booting into Windows. It gets a blue screen of death if it is put to sleep for over an hour, and in general crashes almost every day from minimal browser usage. Dell support is even worse, wasting two months of my time with support calls, emails, and "repairing" the laptop. They claimed my boot issue was a one-off issue, but asked me to pay $100 to receive software support. Even after reinstalling Windows the issue still remained. They attempted to repair the laptop by replacing the entire motherboard, but the issue still remained. Even after all of this, they claimed it was a one-off issue. I believe every laptop of this model has this issue and nobody should buy it until they issue a bios update with a fix. Dell re-assigned a new support agent to me who has missed calling me at appointment time the last two days in a row. After all of this headache, I'm giving up on getting any worthwhile support. While the laptop is still usable, it's a very poor user experience. I severly regret not returning it to Best Buy while I had the chance. My laptop came out of the box, brand new, failing to boot. Do not buy this laptop, and even better: stay away from Dell entirely. They do not care about their customers.

This was an open box item and the computer was good overall but it made a sound that made me nervous so I returned it and purchased a new one since it was on sale.

Sleek, Modern, Powerful & Fast with Copilot+

I’ve used a number of PC and Apple laptops over the years, and I have finally found my daily-driver laptop, and it’s the Dell XPS 13 Copilot+ PC with a 13.4” OLED display. This is not your average 13” laptop though as it features the Snapdragon X Elite processor and compliments that with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD for ample storage. In addition to all the built-in horsepower, the XPS 13’s modern design and superior build quality really makes this laptop stand out in the crowded laptop market. In the Box – Dell has kept it really simple here, with recycled packing material that is almost all cardboard which in turn can be recycled. In the box is the laptop, a 60W charging block and USB-C charging cable and documentation…that’s it. Setup – The laptop was barely charged out of the box, so I plugged it in and let it charge for about an hour or so. On powering up for the first time, there were Microsoft and Dell Bios updates that needed to be installed. This took 15-20 minutes to complete. Once Windows opened, I connected to my Microsoft account and used it to setup this laptop from a backup from a previous one. Office 365 was setup as it was time to begin the testing. Overall Impressions – This laptop is sleek and powerful, with a standard sized keyboard, a seamless glass touchpad and a touch function row of keys. As this is a Copilot+ laptop, there is a built-in key for opening Copilot+ as well as an icon that is pinned to the taskbar. The key stroke is well-tuned to provide feedback and with a shorter throw to make typing a breeze. The seamless trackpad is fantastic, it’s weird to describe but it’s where it should be and provides all the standard trackpad control. It even provides haptic feedback, which is a huge win for my preferences. The 13.4” OLED display is essentially 3K and is more than adequate for most any application thrown at it. I’ve been using this laptop for work and play so everything from large spreadsheets to streaming Netflix. The colors are vibrant, and the darker shades are deep and true to color. And if this wasn’t enough, the display is also touch compatible and works well with a finger or stylus. This laptop does seem to lean towards being a minimalist design and that shows with only 2 x USB-C ports provided…however they do support other functions outside of just charging. And speaking of charging, the battery in the device has blown away my expectations. From a minimalist perspective, this laptop can be taken on the road to work, class or wherever and the charging cord could probably be left behind. Although the power cord and block is also on the smaller size so it can easily be carried for use on the road. Having Copilot+ onboard is certainly a gamechanger as well. In today’s fast paced technology market, it’s great to be in the midst of the AI space and not trailing behind it. As mentioned previously, there is a dedicated keyboard key and icon for opening Copilot+. Pros: - Incredible build quality with aluminum and Gorilla glass - Sleek and modern design - Battery life is well above similar laptops I’ve used over the years - Laptop stays cool and when the fans do kick on they are barely noticeable - Copilot+ built in - 13.4” OLED display with touch is crisp and supports work or play applications well - Backlit keyboard for working in darkened environments Cons: - Maybe a reach, but display is only 60Mghz refresh rate. Overall, the Dell XPS 13 Copilot+ PC has been the best addition to my technology hardware arsenal. I have no doubts it will be my daily driver for years to come and would recommend it to anyone looking for a work or play device that is built for speed and travel.
