Good system but bad built quality

This was my first time switching over from HP/lenovo over to Dell. Spent close to $2500 for the purchase. Right after one year, started having keyboard trouble. This is after very light use of the keyboard as I predominantly use voice-to-text mic. The down arrow key trying to come out and about 8 keys on the keyboard are not working. Again this is just after 1 year of very light use. Never had such quality issue with any of the other laptops that I had in the last several years. Did call the customer service but since there is no warranty after one year, they want more money and for me to ship the laptop over to them to fix the problem. Overall poor built quality. System/functioning/display has been good and no complaints on that.

If you’re very much into asthetic and feel of a laptop the XPS line is great! But if you want genuine quality and performance for a great price this is not the laptop for you. You’re overpaying for a machine that has the same specs as something $500-600 cheaper. The XPS line has not seen anything above a 60hz screen forever so they are trying to sell kore on appeal than technical value.
