Great Machine at great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought it open box and we were a bit concerned over its functionality. But all of our concerns were relieved. I bought this machine for my husband. It functions great and we have not had any issue with it yet and I hope that we wont in future. My husband did say that the charger of the machine had a cut on it though.

Love love love!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hated the apple air butterfly keyboard ( I think it was called that ) so I needed a new laptop quick, but nothing stuck out... but when I read all the great reviews for this laptop I decided to go in to bestbuy and look it over. I fell in love with it right away! And got the pen ( my daughter enjoys using that ) I couldn't be happier!

Good laptop
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop was really good at first and fast enough to handle all the work for med school. It’s still pretty good, but there have been a lot of sound and microphone issues.

Not as reliable as the last generation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have liked most of this laptop; I do have some wifi issues on a regular basis. A couple other quirks but nothing too major. I was a little disappointed after going from my solid experience with the last gen XPS.

Great looking 2 in 1 laptop, but lacks performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After researching 2 in 1's online and seeing the early great reviews of the XPS 13, decided to purchase (16GB model), but based on performance issues (see below), decided to exchange for new HP Spectre X360 13 (AC023DX). Pros: -Great looking laptop -Very sharp screen, love the infinity edge -Solid key board Cons: -Performance felt slow, even for basic web surfing (perhaps due to the use of the Intel Y series chip) -Touch screen would stop working at times (contacted Dell on multiple occasions and after issue recurrance, they wanted to send out a technician to replace screen) - blue tooth mouse lag

So far, So good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have not had much of an opportunity to use it yet, but I love being able to sync my Bamboo Ink Stylus to be able to write on the device, and the 2-1 is a big plus. It feels really small coming from a Macbook Pro, but I suppose that's normal during this transition to "tablet computers."

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 2-1 works great, looks great, but the only thing that is a problem is the way it opens. It's hard to open and you need to find a sweet spot to get it open, but other then that good 2-1

Extraordinary Device
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Dell XPS 2-in-1 13.3 is an incredibly versatile machine that can serve as your primary work device or as a casual use laptop/tablet. Starting at 2.7lbs, this Dell is lightweight and easy to carry from meeting to meeting or from the couch to the bed. Despite its weight, it feels extremely well built and able to stand up to the rigors of daily use. The aluminum shell protects from the outside while the carbon fiber rest for your wrists feels luxuriously gentle. One of the first things I noticed about the XPS 2-in-1 13.3 is the amazingly clear and bright nearly UHD display. It is absolutely stunning and the InfinityEdge display provides maximum viewing area. With a 170 degree viewing angle, it's easy to enjoy the brilliant anti-glare display from a wide field. If you're going to get a machine like this, you want it to be able to push through and handle heavy loads of processing. The XPS 2-in-1 can do it with its Core i7 processor and 16 GB LPDDR3 1866MHz of system memory. In addition, this laptop boasts a 256 GB solid state hard drive. This is the first time I'm experiencing a solid state drive on a laptop and I'm in love! The processor and drive allow this unit to be free of moving parts (no fans and vents). This means that the laptop operates in complete silence no matter how hard you are pushing the processor. It also means that it stays much cooler than your typical laptop. I opened many programs and ran some graphic intensive programs and the XPS 2-in-1 didn't miss a beat. I didn't notice any lag at all. When doing a cold boot, the 2-in-1 is ready in mere seconds! Finally, all of this power doesn't mean shorter battery life. Dell says that with average use, you can expect 15 hours. I haven't been able to fully test this but have been able to get 8-10 hours constant use so I believe 15 hours would certainly be possible. I'm amazed and it's all possible due to the solid state drive. Switching from laptop mode to tablet, tent, or stand mode is as easy as moving the display on the sturdy 360 hinged display. The only thing I found awkward about switching modes is that when used as a stand or tablet, the keyboard serves as the base (against whatever surface it is on) or the back of the tablet where you are holding it. In these modes, the keyboard is disabled. I found this to be more awkward when used as a tablet just because I'm not used to my hands/fingers touching a keyboard but I think I will get used to it. The touch screen is extremely responsive and fun to use. Whether navigating the web or doing graphic editing, I found the touch screen to be extremely accurate. I don't have the optional stylus pen, but am considering purchasing it to get the full experience. Connectivity-wise, the Dell XPS 2-in-1 utilizes newer technology to eliminate lots of ports. The 2-in-1 has two USB-C ports (USB-A to USB-C adapter included) which allows for flexible charging using either of the ports. Additionally, the unit has a microSD card slot and an audio headset jack. You can purchase an accessory adapter which will allow HDMI, VGA, ethernet, and additional USB 3.0 use. In summary, I am really really impressed with the Dell XPS 2-in-1 13.3. It packs a LOT of power in a small product. Everything about it feels quality and durable. It's like the PC version of the MacBook Air--very stylish and extremely functional. The fingerprint reader makes it accessible and secure. I can't say enough about the solid state drive which has so many added benefits that I can't mention them all. The USB-C ports obviously require some accommodation since most of our devices are still using standard USB connections. However, I really like that I can charge from either USB-C port and that Dell included a USB-A/C adapter. I do wish they would've included the full HDMI/VGA/Ethernet/USB-A adapter ($80). I would highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a convertible laptop. The XPS 2-in-1 packs more punch than the Surface and has a better design, look, and feel in my opinion. I'm looking forward to leaving my work provided laptop on the dock and using the XPS 2-in-1 as my primary home and mobile use device. Pros: -Solid State Hard Drive (no fan/moving parts, operates completely silent) -Beautiful and brilliant display -Core i7 processor provides more than enough processing power -Lightweight & slim design -Build quality is extremely high. -Battery life -Touch screen responsiveness -Stereo speakers produced surprising and impressive sound Cons: -No built-in USB-A or HDMI ports (this is what allows the slim design AND there are adapters which enable these functionalities) -Awkward having keyboard serve as base/back when in tablet/stand mode

Lightweight, easy to use—odd built-in camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small and portable; Great keyboard feel and screen resolution. My one complaint is the placement of the camera right at the keyboard—gives a very odd upward perspective.

Very nice setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well put together at this point. Everything is where it should be. Although it is a little on the small side for what I need, it does everything I asked it to do.

Very solid construction, easy to use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a well made device that acts as a very fast laptop or tablet computer. No glitches to report so far, however, it does get quite hot on the bottom after a while.

Great 2 in 1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great replacement for the XPS-13 and the 2 in 1 function makes it that much more useful. I've read some complaints of slower speed than the new XPS standard laptops, but in day to day use, I'm not noticing anything slow. If it only had an LTE option!

Amazing product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking for small but descent laptop for my son. I was actually looking into surface pro 4, but when looked at both on display, and how this laptop folds all the way, I was thrilled. With latest core i7 and 16gb ram, this is one beast. I'm happy so far.
