It was easy to flip between different modes and ran smoothly. Unfortunately, I did not have it for long as I found a better deal for an Lenova Yoga 710 2-in-1 and decided to make the switch. It is not recommended for heavy gaming, editing, or the like. However, for the purpose of school and other casual use it is great.

Bios doesn't update automatically causeing problems, the adapter for USb plugin doesn't even work and so I can't use the usb feature which means I have no dvd/cd rom abilities. I am going to take this back to BB and see about a refund and getting a whole different product. This was my 3rd Dell laptop and will be the last I do believe. Do not recommend it even though the size and features were purportedly great!! Hope you have had a different experience because I wouldn't wish my experience on the Universe' worst personage!!! I purposely chose this product with it's capabilities of 16GB RAM and 256 GB HDD to avoid slowness and processing issues, Huh, a lot of good that did me!!!!!

Posted .revuewerinSC - Thanks for your recent Dell laptop purchase. We're sorry to hear that your experience is not what you had hoped it would be. We'd recommend running Dell's Support Assist on your computer to make sure that all of your software and drivers are up to date. If you'd like some help speeding up your computer we'd suggest these steps:
Delete temporary files and directories
1. Click Start, then in the search bar type "disk". Disk Cleanup should appear on the menu above the search box.
2. Run disk cleanup and eliminate unneeded temporary files (Search results, Internet Cache and other windows temp files you may no longer need)
3. Select files you want to delete then click OK to start the cleanup process. Uninstall applications you no longer use
1) Open the Programs and Features application in Control Panel.
2) Scan the list of applications installed for ones that you no longer use.
3) Highlight any application you no longer use and then click the uninstall button at the top of the list. Follow the prompts to uninstall.
4. Repeat for each application you want to uninstall.
5. Move large files and/or seldom used files to backup media (Photos, Music you seldom listen to, application downloads after the application has been installed etc.).
6. Empty the Recycle Bin.

I asked for mgr. Told him @ issue with 1st and asked him for help with selection. He too was rude?! Actually said "he didn't want to waste his time"?! uh really? Left and took my business to Costco. Cons: only one USB port and it is a mini. When purchasing this laptop, I compared it to MacBook Air, Microsoft Surface and Lenovo Yoga. This was hands down the superior product for the money. I had done a lot of research before shopping and this machine was not the front runner based on research but clearly the best buy (no pun intended).
