This was one of the few early exclusives for PS5. Got this game on a Black Friday major deal. I’m glad I got it. Surely doesn’t disappoint

Had never played a Souls type game before but bought this with my launch PS5 and this may be my favorite PS5 game so far. I had almost given up on this game as it was as hard to a new player as you read about online. It punishes you for playing fast and loose, especially in the beginning when you can’t take or deal much damage. But after taking a break and playing some of the other ps5 games I came back to it and things clicked, once that happened the game was a lot of fun and I couldn’t stop. It’s also one of the most stunning visual games on the ps5 so far.

Never played the original but this game looks absolutely fantastic on ps5 but warning the games difficulty level is a bit tough at times but if you like challenges pick it up

Demon souls is a great challenging game. It has many areas to expand your quest. The Bosses are challenging but the rewards are satisfying. I recommend it.

Graphics are amazing and the game play it smooth. Plays just like the original.

This game looks fantastic and is super difficult. Getting absolutely ANYWHERE is this game feels as if you have accomplished something and is VERY frustrating.

This is a glorious remake and showcases the PS5 in the absolute best light. The visuals are absolutely breathtaking. The audio is jaw dropping--seriously, play this with surround sound (7.1/5.1 speakers or a good pair of headphones using the PS5's tempest 3d audio). The game itself is nearly identical to the original PS3, but the animations and sound elevate it to another level. Series vets will immediately fall in love with the backstab animations and critical attack animations. This is as loving as a remake can be. Bluepoint games should be commended endlessly for this achievement.

I’ve played the original in it’s entirety many times. This version is better because of smooth 60fps, updated soundtrack and mind blowing updated graphics that make the game feel new even though the game is exactly the same as it was before. The map layout, the AI, the story and what this game is known for... the difficulty. To me it wasn’t as hard as it was before but that’s because I’m used to the other much harder games that have come after the original. If your a fan of Dark Souls, Bloodborne or Sekiro but never played where these games got their mojo from then you have got to get Demon Souls.

Never played a souls games until now and although it was hard I couldn’t get off it until I beat every boss and it felt great, really great game

Faithful remake that adds next generation flair. The omni directional rolling and increased load times are fantastic.

I didn't have a chance to play the original but seen footage on YouTube, I have to say that this game was one if not the best game I have ever played!! If you love these types of games the I promise you that you will NOT be disappointed. I had to pick this up for my new PS5 and I can't believe how AMAZING this game looks on the PS5!! And to be honest I've been playing non stop since Nov. 27th and this game keeps you so into it that you don't get bored playing it. 10/10 for everything!! Sound is 10/10, Graphics is 10/10, Story 10/10!! I could keep going and everything would be near perfect!!

They did it. The remaster is incredible. The sole reason I purchased my PS5 at launch. I love it. We are definitely getting taxed by sony @70 dollars though. Ouch.

As a longtime Dark Souls fan, this remake is outstanding! I never played the original since I didn't own a PS3 so I was surprised by the excellent gameplay mechanics in Demon's Souls. The controls are very familiar if you played any of the Dark Souls games and the monsters are as vicious and unforgiving as ever. The visuals are impressive and you can switch from Fidelity Mode to maximize the texture quality and post effects or opt for Performance Mode to play in a smooth 60 fps experience. The game is a bit on the short side, so I highly recommend Dark Soul fans to buy this on sale!

Pretty awesome game. Has a bit of a PC feel with switching weapons and health stuff. The graphics and story are wonderful. I was really surprised with this game

Great souls game but easier than all of the others. If you have been wanting to play a souls game but are intimidated by the difficulty I suggest you try this one. The story and characters are also great and easy to follow unlike the other souls games. Should not be $70 though.

I remember playing this on PS3 when it first came out. I could not get past the first level, so I returned it. Years later after playing the games it birthed, I am really enjoying it. It’s combat is a little slower and deliberate than other “souls” games, which I like. Plus the game is gorgeous.

Tried playing this on PS3 way back. Hated it. But I got into the Souls games finally after learning Bloodborne, and now I can say this game is a lot of fun. Good graphics. Good mechanics. Fun story. Lots of items. Big world. Well worth the money spent. BluPoint has done a good job with this.

The visuals are gorgeous, but make sure this is your style of game. Very few checkpoints in the game so if you like a challenge you will definitely get one.

Nostalgia game is upgraded for next gen gaming with the highest 4K 60hz performance mode everything is upgraded for images and gameplay. Great buy for 2020
