The one that started it all but now it's prettier and runs better! A great starting point if you're putting off getting into the Soulsborne games

Not as difficult as DS3, which is great. Game looks awesome and has that familiar feel if you're a fan of the Dark Souls games.

Great game with a ton of variety, complex mechanics, and visually stunning detail. But, fair warning, probably the most challenging game I've ever played.. expect it to test your patience. Sometimes it can be more frustrating than fun, but that's what it's designed for.

Great game when it was released, great game today. They picked a perfect game to remaster and this is one of the must buy games on PS5.

It's Demon's Souls from PS3, but with an incredible coat of new paint. The core game is the same, but everything looks so much better. The overall presentation is so much more polished. Remembering these levels looking so much flatter visually and running sub 30 fps a lot of the time and seeing this now and high res and frame rate is like a dream. If you're a souls fan, you'll love this remake.

If you're a souls fan this is a must have. The combat is phenomenal and the graphics really showcase what the ps5 brings to the table.

Amazing game. Difficult but incredibly rewarding. Be prepared to fail a lot. Learn from your mistakes and eventually you will succeed.

This is a great way to get into a excellent series. The game looks amazing, but is difficult, so don’t expect to breeze through it.

What an excellent game. I own the original PS3 version of this game and at it's time it was excellent. But this PS5 version takes it to the next level. The game is challenging but you learn through failure. If you're patient with the game and get used to it's learning curve there is much to enjoy and it is so epic. The visuals are stunning, beautiful and it ensnares you into this other world. While it might not be for everyone, you can't argue with the fact that this is the first true step in next gen gaming.

Excellent remake on this game. The stunning and hand crafted worlds are amazing and feel real. You have to just stop and look around and see everything they created. Not only are the visuals amazing but the 3d sound and duelsense experience make walking through the world feel like you are there and as such they help on your journey. Immersion is amazing and as my first ps5 game I am glad that this is where next gen started off. If you are new to this series you will not be dissatisfied but expect a challenge.

Really pretty game. The movement and combat are super smooth & satisfying. But the level & boss designs ruin it for me. Too many narrow corridors to accidently fall from the edge of i.e. staircases or scaffolding. I actually got ambushed before I could fully descend a latter. Farming xp seems fruitless as upgrades barely make a difference. As a soulslike fan this isn't for me.

This game is really too difficult for me, but my daughter loves it and it looks, sounds and plays great!

This is probably one of the best console launch titles ever. Only super mario 64 comes to mind as possibly being better. This is essentially just Demon's Souls, but with a complete graphical overhaul. I'd never played Demon's Souls, but the gameplay still held up extremely well. I generally like the other Souls titles somewhat more, except DS2, but this game is definitely a solid step up from DS3 in terms of presentation. A must buy, if you have a PS5, unless you absolutely hate souls type games.
