This is like playing a brand new souls game. Every aspect of this game feels new. It really is a ground up remake of the game that started it all. I only played a few minutes of the original demon’s souls but I dove hard into the franchise after i played Dark Souls. The visuals are stunning, the game runs buttery smooth and the sound editing is superb. It’s a must have for any souls/borne fan and I can’t recommend it enough to someone thats on the fence about getting it.

Only get this game if you like a good challenge. Other than that this game performs very well. It looks gorgeous on is the PS five and performs amazingly at 4K 60. Unless you’re going to cinematic mode then you get higher Fidelity.

Bought this for my new system and its fantastic! Great visuals great gameplay. Just disappointed that i had to order it in. First copy the disc was loose in the case but i was able to reorder it instore. Be sure not to open if the product is obviously defective otherwise bestbuy might not work with you. Purchased while on sale.

Very tough game. There's no checkpoints so be prepared.

I didn’t get to play the original demons souls way back when due to not knowing of its existence. However I did watch gameplay and it always interested me. When I picked up the remake I was pleasantly surprised by the difference and the game itself. I highly recommend Demon souls remake to anyone interested the souls genre, just not as their first.

this game is kinda hard but not super. it's also a bit short but looks very super pretty :) it was fun

This is my first game of PS5 and I enjoy playing it. Some levels are difficult for me, but it is a great game.

Brutal and beautiful. Looks fantastic, and the zero load times aspect makes the running aspect a ton of fun.

Its great game and stays true to the original but to a fault. It is exactly the same game that came out on ps3 with better graphics. The issue with that is that it sometimes feels dated and none of the new mechanics introuduced with dark souls 1-3 were added. However, the game is visually stunning and shows off the power of the ps5. I do recommend. It was a very nostalgic experience.

This is absolutely an amazing remake to the 2009 original. A must buy for PS6 owners. (Be warned, it hard)

I never played the original on PS3, but when the remake was announced for PS5 I had to check it out. I have put many hours into the game and I have no complaints at all. It is one of my favorite games of all time and one of the best souls game.

Excellent game, a really good showcase for the power of the PS5 and a long overdue remake of a classic.

This game absolutely blew me away on my ps5 and LG CX. It really is mind blowing to see how far video games have come, and this is a remake of a ps3 game. I've had absolutely no lag, slowdown, crashes, or anything else interrupting my pure enjoyment of this game. It is incredibly challenging and this game is definitely for skilled adults, but if that's you, you will love this game. My second souls game after sekiro and I'm hooked.

I never thought I’d play a Soulsborne game let alone actually completing one. This game really pulls you in with its spectacular lighting, high level of environmental detail, and sound design. Plus, it makes great use of the Dualsense’s haptics for added immersion (sword hits, boulders rolling, passing through a foggy door, etc.) If you’re up for the challenge, have enough dedication, and a PS5, ‘Demon’s Souls’ is a must own title.

I actually like a good challenge from a game and if you enjoy it too, you will love this game. Graphics are also excellent which makes it even better. I’m sure that this game will keep you entertained for a long time but that is what I enjoy in a game.

Never played the original or any of the souls games. This thing is beautiful in 4k on the PS5. If you like repeating things until you get them perfect, this is for you. If you don't like this type of challenge, it can be very frustrating. I like to think of this game play mechanic like that movie Ground Hog's Day, you basically replay the section over-and-over until you get it right. Very addicting if you like that idea.
