After giving this game a few months to leave an impression on me, I must admit, it drove me crazy. I loved every moment though and the graphics are insane. It is a great game to start the generation for any fans of the Souls games. If you want a challenge, that plays well, and looks stunning, this is it.

If you're up for a challenge, Souls games are where it's at! This is a beautiful remake of the original. Definitely worth your time if you've never played Demon's Souls the first time around. Any veterans of the series will enjoy the return, though don't expect anything new (at least nothing I noticed). Outside of some polish. Still, great game.

If you're familiar with the franchise it's an easy buy since it's the same game you know but updated for next gen and it feels great to play. If you're new it is a unique experience to other games and is meant as a challenge that will feel rewarding beating. There are multiplayer options and different styles of play that help replayability.

You get to show off your PlayStation 5. Plenty of games look great on PS5 but demons souls is on its own level. The lighting and textures are a thing of wonder. It’s like going to a great museum. It also does the impossible task of making nostalgia re:reality without the letdown and baggage.

Amazing game that takes full advantage of the PS5 hardware. Great visuals, 1080p at 60 fps or 4K at 30 fps. Really fast loading! Be warned however, Demon's Souls is incredibly difficult! But that's part of the game. You will die a lot! But when you overcome your foes and demons, you'll be guaranteed to get a sense of accomplishment.

If you have never played a Dark Souls game, this is the great place to start, It will not only get you ised to the combat, but the puzzle-like nature of them aswell. Now, the game itself can be somewhat challenging, but its linear enough to not lose yourself on what you need to do to avercome said challenge. In addition to this, the graphics are stunning and the sound design is by far my favorite part of the game, play this with the best headphones you can find and you will be mesmerized by the technical marvel that is this game.

The graphics are AMAZING. This is more than just a tech demo for the PS5 though, it was fun to run through Demon's Souls again. The game plays 1:1 to the original so if you missed out on it and managed to get a PS5 PICK THIS UP RIGHT NOW! There aren't a ton of games out for the PS5 right now but this one is a must-get!

Looks great, still hard, but great game to show off PS5

Did get a chance to play demon souls back in the old PS days but glad I picked it up now. Have always been a fan of the souls games but I have to say I was impressed by this remake. The graphics are beautiful and frame rates smooth on the PS5. Game is definitely worth the pickup if you enjoy the dark souls franchise.

great graphics , lots of action, story is interesting

BluePoint is becoming well known for their true to form remasters. From Shadow of the Colossus to this I have to say they may be a company worth trusting for quality. has a graphics setting and a performance, I recommend performance as the gameplay at 60FPS makes it far easier to anticipate movements.

One of the most beautiful looking ps5 exclusives. The atmosphere and level design and mechanics of the game are amazing. I would not recommend this game for casual gamers it’s very hard but so satisfying. A real challenge for hardcore gamers l. If you like rage quitting and coming back for the greatest challenge then it’s for you.

Fantastic remake! Punishing gameplay but visuals and flow are out of this world on a 4k TV. I didn't get to play the original on the PS3, so its interesting to play as I loved Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Highly recommend this game, especially if you have a 4k TV.

The game that started it all. I bought this for the PS3 when it first came out and never finished it. I just didn’t have the right mindset for it. I have the platinum for the ps5 version and am still having fun on ng +++. The only negative is my wife is tired of watching me play this game now.

I've wanted to play Demon's Souls since it came out on PS3 but haven't had the chance til now. This is, without a doubt, the definitive version. Bluepoint's Demon's Souls remake is yet another home run for Sony's first-party studios. Fun, challenging, and B-E-A-UTIFUL. The next-generation is off to a fantastic start.

Amazing remake of a classic. The graphics are absolutely stunning, I find myself constantly stopping and taking in the scenery. Game wasnt changed from the PS3 version, which may be a gripe to some people, but I'm happy they didn't mess with it. Its a classic Souls game that needs to be experienced by everyone.

This is a great game! Couldn't get into the original on the PS3. Picked this after hearing about the graphics, and they do not disappoint. The typical souls difficulty here, but this seems to be more approachable than the other games.

One of the best of the SoulsBornes made even better by the amazing PS5 graphics and haptic feedback. A true classic, it started it all and is a must play for fans of the series and new PS5 owners. Though, it’s not for the faint of heart.
