This game is easily a system seller for the ps5. It truly makes you experience hardship with its challenging enemies and level design. If you love challenging games, i recommend picking this game up. I think this title was definitely worth the asking price.

The most graphically impressive game that I have ever seen on any platform, let alone the PS5. I am really bad at it though, so I haven't gotten too far, but the atmosphere alone is enough to pull me back in and give it another shot.

Even if you played the original, this game is still awesome. Same old game, way better graphics, and smooth gameplay at 60fps. My only problem is paying practically $70.00 for a remake, or any new game at all. Some of these new gen games are just overpriced.

Beautiful game, okay storyline, its a must play in 60FPS AKA performance mode... But this game gets old when you get stuck and when theres parts you just cant complete and then it just no longer becomes enjoyable... I rage quit and traded it in so it’s a game certainly not for everybody... theres no difficulty levels, its just one difficulty and its CHALLENGING... but if if you feel up for the challenge, I say go for it.

Simply perfect if you like this style of game! An excellent addition to the souls borne library of games! Everyone else...beware ...you should do some research before attempting this...it is very difficult and challenging....but certainly fair and fun!

Great game if you like the "Souls series" graphics are clean on quality 4KTV. Gameplay is what you'd expect from the souls game. Challenging. Would recommend as your first PS5 game too. It will keep you busy till the other bangers release.

Nothing beats that feeling of finally overcoming a tough boss! One of my favorite fromsoft games!

A phenomenal modernization of a pioneering classic. One of the best looking games out there regardless of platform or hardware and the original Demon's Souls foundation was so strong that not much needed to be altered to bring it to modern standards.

This is basically the best launch title you could've hoped for, and it's just as good now as when the system first dropped

I would recommend this for people who grew up playing it but if your a person who started with something like Bloodborne or Sekiro then I could not recommend this for you. If these 2 were your first FromSoft games then be prepared to be bored out of your mind because the gameplay is like molasses, it's a huge improvement visually from the original but for those who cherish gameplay over visuals then be prepared to suffer.

One of the hardest video games I have ever played, but can’t put the remote down. I wish I got into the game for the PS3, but better late than never. You need to play this game if you have a PS5.

The original Demon's Souls was amazing on PS3, and now it is completely re-made for PS5. The graphics are incredible in 4K and the combat gameplay and exploration is great for fans of Bloodborne, Nioh, and Dark Souls. A very good launch title for PS5.

This is a remarkable remake. The graphics are amazing, and the gameplay, while challenging, is rewarding. I was so engrossed that I immediately started New Game + to work on getting Platinum. Excellent game

Blown away by the improvements over the original PS3 game. They really did justice to the original while completely revamping the graphics and character creator. All of the dialog, music, and sound effects were also remastered. Best game on PS5 so far.

I played the original on ps3 and loved it back then, it started my love/hate relationship with the souls series and have played and beat them all. For fans of the series that may have missed this one on the original, the remake is hands down amazing.

As advertised, Prepare to die has been the motto of the franchise and this one does not disappoint. Long ago i would speedrun Dark Souls, knowing how the game works i found myself a noob once again in this world.

Never played the original on PS3 but this was fun. I already beat it since purchased but plan on going back again and going other routes. I played through Dark Souls 1-3 and Bloodborne. This was the icing on the cake for me. Definitely recommend!

It was amazing. I never had the chance to play the original, but this new one does wonders. It's was so fun to play a FromSoftware game with these good of graphics, made the experience that much better!
