I've never played one of these 'Souls' games. So far, it's insanely hard. But I'm enjoying myself, even though the gameplay involves constantly dying over and over. Works great and runs beautifully on the PS5.

The story is great so far, I like the way it plays and graphics. I'm sure I'll be satisfied with this purchase once I'm done playing it

I'm glad I purchased this game! Game graphics are amazing and game play is great. This game is just challenging enough to keep a player busy, but not so challenging as to turn a player away from the game. I've played this about 6-8 hours so far and I'm liking the game play as well as the storyline.

The graphics on this are mind blowing, and the gameplay is solid. While a souls like a game, I found it not as difficult as that title.

Great remaster of the PS3 classic. It's a very frustrating, but rewarding game when you accomplish previous stopping points.

Playstation has made a good upgrade to the original version only complaints are the art style looks a little too vibrant for a world in decline. My opinion is that the ps3 hardware had the right choice about the atmosphere intentionally keeping the color and graphics more darker even with the fog but as stated this is a good example of what a remake should do improve the original game while retaining what made it belived to begin with.

Amazing remake of a ps3 classic. Keeps the original's combat and gameplay, with quality of life improvements and stunning visuals. The definitive way to play Demon Soul's. A must have for ps5 players.

Yo this game is definitely the best ps5 launch title I have 100+ hrs on it and it still feels fresh, as a souls game veteran, it was definitely smooth sailing after flamelurker pounded for me a good 4hrs

Faithfully recreated the PS3 original, played like I remember and the new graphics are beautiful. As a "remaster'' I don't think its worth a $60-70 value think $50 is well worth it

I've played over 250+ hours on every Souls game to date (PS3 Demon Soul's, Dark Souls 1 + 2 + 3, BloodBorne) and have the Platinum trophy on each. It is a good 1:1 remake of the original game. Bosses have added details. Gear and magic look nice. The overall combat system was modernized to match with the improvements of the latter games of the series. It has nice integrations with some of the newest features of the PS5 such as the haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and on-controller speakers (latter can be annoying after a while). I took one star off as the improvements to the movement of the combat system does not mesh well with the camera system which causes a lot of unintentional rolling (rolling in the wrong direction, weird non-seemless 180 camera flips). It seems to be an issue of porting over omidirectional rolling but keeping the old camera system implementation (hypothesis). Also, luck glitch plagued the game during early launch such that it made playing while signed in a pain. This has been fixed but I had already platinum the game by then and done about 6 different playthroughs dealing with these annoying cheaters.

This is quite possibly the best visual looking game on the PS5. Only hardcore gamers should play here as this is definitely the HARDEST game I have ever played in my life!! Gamers beware, and enjoy!

Awesome game. Great graphics. Great enhancement and remake from the original version. It looks like a completely brand new game with other features not included in the original. Definitely recommend.

This game is frustrating! Cool graphics, but you have to start over from the beginning every time you die, and you die a lot!

This is a fantastic remaster! The game just looks insane compared to the first release. I highly recommend it with your purchase of a playstation 5. It really shows off what the console can do!

Just what the doctor ordered. It's a great addition to any PS owner's game library especially if you are playing on the PS5 with enhanced graphics and fast load times. Definitely recommend it.

The game is graphically mesmerizing. Staying true to the first demon souls it captures the same gameplay engine used in the original but with a few improvements to enemies and the forthcoming battles. The legendary Sony 3D audio obviously elevated the experience and with the added use of the haptic feedback given by the duelsense controller- it al came full circle mailing this much more than just a game. It was a memorable experience that brought me back down memory lane and left a very impressive lasting impression that makes me want to keep going back over and over again. This game is incredibly challenging and is not favored by the inexperienced or average video game player.

A+ title, excellent remake of a well designed game. It is very difficult. Do not recommend unless you want a challenge. It’s good to mix this up with an easy game when it feels too difficult.

Awesome game, a very hard challenge. A good choice to keep you busy until more PS5 games are released. I would recommend this game to anybody who likes to grind and wants rewarding game play

While not for the casual player or faint of heart, this game looks and plays great as a PS5 launch title. Go in expecting to fail (a lot), learn from your mistakes, and earn your victories.

Overall just a fantastic game with all the essentials of graphics and story.
