Wasnt a big fan of the gameplay. Five minutes in and everything was going good till randomly a boss appears and boom im done for. Hated how you couldn’t upgrade your weapons or train with them more. Disappointed.

Although this was a great game it's nothing that the ps4 couldn't have achieved it was just put in a ps5 box and called next Gen in which it is not by a long shot ! They just wanted that 70 dollar price tag for an old game touched up a bit. In my opinion this is a great game but for those who play the old version to death like myself you'll just get more of the same here with better visuals. Those new to the game will be very happy but in my opinion I'd wait for a 39.99 price drop because that's what the game is worth with no real updates game wise it's just a copy and paste that looks pretty.

The box looks beautiful sitting in my tv cabinet, I have not owned a PS5 that I haven't sold on ebay, so I haven't played the remake yet. I did play the demo on PS3, which I found frustrating. Things have changed now, I'm currently playing Souls 1-3, BloodBorne, and Sekiro honing my craft. Once I get my PS5, I will upgrade my internet speed, then no noob will be safe from my relentless backstabs, parry counters, and soul arrows.

This game will have you frustrated beyond belief... but in that frustration is deep love. This game is NOT for gamers who get mad easily. This game requires heavy intellect, patience, skill, and strategy. The remake is SUPER polished and I honestly have ZERO complaints. It is HIGHLY addictive. Runs super smooth. I highly recommend this game to anyone that needs to escape reality for a while.

Really impressed by the graphics and sound of this game...just wish you didnt have to pick between stability and performance. Also important to note that this game is difficult so don't expect a cake walk here.

Will start off by saying, if you are new to this 'souls' series of games, think hard before buying. Watch reviews, gameplay videos, and read threads online before making a decision and dropping 70 bucks on this. Never trying out the previous souls games, I went ahead and bought this since its one of the few major games released with ps5, along with Spiderman:MM. I already knew souls games were notoriously known for their challenging difficulty. I figured I'd give it a shot since I don't mind particularly challenging games: Worst mistake ever. This game is incredibly unfair and hard with no difficulty modes. It is a lot worse than I thought it'd be. You need a lot of patience with this game and you will die over and over and over. It got stale and burned me out easily. I didn't think it was going to be this unforgiving. I can't understand how people enjoy these types of games that make you bash your head against the wall continuously. I got about a little more than half way with the game before I started to call it quits because it was just that aggravating. Spending 5 hours of dying and barely progressing is such a waste of time. Usually when I buy a game, I tend to finish it no matter what. However, this is the first game in a very very long time where I just uninstalled. I couldn't even bear to suffer more misery in this game. Trading this in for credit towards a more reasonable game was one of the best decisions. I learned this type of game is most definitely not for me. Be cautious before buying. Do not spend your money without knowing what you are getting into.
