Tried playing this on PS3 way back. Hated it. But I got into the Souls games finally after learning Bloodborne, and now I can say this game is a lot of fun. Good graphics. Good mechanics. Fun story. Lots of items. Big world. Well worth the money spent. BluPoint has done a good job with this.

Demon souls is a great challenging game. It has many areas to expand your quest. The Bosses are challenging but the rewards are satisfying. I recommend it.

The visuals are gorgeous, but make sure this is your style of game. Very few checkpoints in the game so if you like a challenge you will definitely get one.

Nostalgia game is upgraded for next gen gaming with the highest 4K 60hz performance mode everything is upgraded for images and gameplay. Great buy for 2020

As a new player to the souls games, I have good times as well as bad times with demons. I love it one day and hate it the next. I know my review is best described as an emotional tug of war but this is how I feel and I will not apologize. Just being honest here. The game is gorgeous and sound is equally saturated with attention to detail and superb quality. I reserve the right to hold one star back because of the crazy difficulty the game brings. I know it is supposed to be tough as nails and it is. I recommend playing with friends or good old fashioned couch coop. Other than the difficulty, about perfect. A very good launch title of not the best. Also be careful to not destroy walls or rage quit like I did. It will test your skills both irl and in game. Good luck warrior!

Epic. Plain & simple. Demon’s Souls has the makings of a perfect remaster. The graphics alone are jaw dropping. Very hard game though, so good luck!

Truly a next generation experience, the gameplay, graphics, sounds, music, combat. This game is also very challenging so make sure you have patience.

Love this game. Bluepoint did an amazing job remaking this game. The old combat mechanics where actually quite refreshing after recently beating Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne. Obviously a different style than those forementioned games; much more primitive mechanics in comparison but the satisfaction when you hit a parry and riposte is unlike any other souls born game. This is definitely amplified by the haptic feedback and sound effects emitting from the Dualsense. You feel the crunch and hear the splatter like your actually there yourself... absolutely amazing.

The original Souls game. The original was amazing.. this one just blew my mind on how great it looks and runs on a 4K Screen.

The game that started a whole new genre. Here it is, it's dark and moody, but this time with a more direct storyline unlike the Dark Souls series that would proceed it. Bluepoint did an amazing job remaking this game, it looks and runs amazingly well. Beautiful graphics, and finally running at a solid 60fps unlike the original on the PS3 that was crawl under 20fps constantly. This is the game to get if you have a ps5, let alone if you are a Souls fan in any form, and especially if you never had the chance to play it's original release.

This game looks amazing on the ps5. I never played the original but I’m loving every bit of it. A little challenging at times but overall great game.

This remake looks absolutely stunning. It’s the best looking next generation game on the market. It’s a brutal game that rewards patience and nuances.

Not a huge souls like fan but this is actually quite fun and with PS5’s load times being so fast I’m not as mad when I die constantly lol. Gorgeous

Great game for the launch of the new system. This game is an amazing remake to an already awesome game. They really take this game beyond just being a remake even though they stick closely to the original vision. The gameplay is awesome and has been improve. The graphics and mind blowing with the great sound and effects that you get with the controller. This game should be on everyone list that is if you don't mind hard difficult games, because this game is no cake walk. You will get taken out over, and over, and over gain but you will still enjoy it.

This game is beautiful and challenging spent a lot of hours on this and achieved platinum well worth the price!

An amazing looking game On the new PS5!! Super hard and a little frustrating at times but once you get the hang of it, it is an awesome experience!

Sick! Gameplay and graphics are both excellent. Love the 60fps makes everything smooth. Combat is cool. This is the only true next gen feeling game.

As someone that never got to play the original Demon Souls on PS3 but has played every other Soulsborne game, I felt right at home in this games world right from the start. It definitely has some mechanics that's different than the Dark Souls games. As for the quality of the remake, this game has some of the best graphics and detail that I've ever seen in a game. Truly a showcase for what the PS5 can do. If you love challenging games and want a game to take advantage of all the tech the PS5 has to offer, this is your game.
