If you are really into games where you switch around weapons in the start menu, then you'll like it. Not a bad game, just noy my style.

Bought it and tried it out. I just couldn't get into it. The random dying and starting over wasn't for me.

I got it and the disc wasn’t properly in its holder so when I received it, it was just clicking and clacking in there. no scratches from what I seen.. but awesome beautiful game.

Being someone who never played any of the "SoulsBorne" games (such as Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Sekiro, and/or Bloodborne) I thought this newly revamped PS5 version would be a great one to start the series on. Boy was I wrong! I had been told by peers that Demon's Souls "aged like moldy milk" and this new remade version would most likely iron out some of the atrocious quality of life problems and bugs that plagued the original PS3 release in 2009. After playing the game for 6+ hours - I can safely say that I will not be continuing my playthrough. The mere fact that you can't change how buttons are mapped on your controller is mind boggling for any game released after 2010 - let alone a game released in 2020. And even though some of the bugs have been cleaned up in this DS remake - the game still feels clunky and clumsy (even in performance mode on the PS5). You could argue that "this is part of the SoulsBorne charm". If that is what your idea of is of "charming", then I want nothing to do with this poorly designed game. Please understand that Bluepoint did a phenomenal job with the visual effects and overall style of this Demon's Souls remake but the unflinchingly rigid and, quite frankly, idiotic design choices made by the original developers (FromSoftware) really turns this game's fun meter all the way down to zero. After doing a bit of research, the "SoulsBorne" community seems to be full of toxic gatekeepers - another glaring cringeworthy reason to stay away from this pile of mediocrity. Save yourself from this badly designed game that's not worth your time or money.

I was a little disappointed with this game to be honest. If you love the original, you'll love this one, but it just wasn't for me. Felt like a very generic fantasy game.

Who in the world likes these kinds of games!!!??? this made me want to throw my PS5 controller threw my new tv. 20 minutes into a level I die and I have to start from the very beginning. no clue of what I'm suppose to do, The controls are lagging no really cool features for the DuelSense Controller. Not Worth the $70 bucks.

Solid remake with overall nice entertainment value. much rather play this than the spider man game
